What a great find! You’d never know this was a great Tapas restaurant from the outside, it just looks like a village pub. Its also a friendly pub so whether you want to eat or just enjoy a beer, its great.

Grubby inside, food wasn't the best but still expensive for some reason. Disappointing and didn't like the place, definitely won't be returning.

Had a lovely lunch here today with a large family group. The staff were really friendly and welcoming and the place had a lovely relaxing atmosphere. It was nice to go somewhere that serves real food with a variety of healthy choices on offer and the menu has obviously been well thought out. The bar/restaurant has a lovely double sided fire place which was roaring on arrival. It is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into the decor of the place and this is different from many other places in the area. Really nice experience and nice Mohitos too 👍

We went to The Tregeyb for a family meal after hearing good things about the place and reading the reviews it was a nice atmosphere but were really disappointed when my daughter found hair in her food and the wine glasses were dirty. Also, there was mold all over the wall and it smelt really damp in there. Do people really not mind this when they are going out?

Amazing pub! We stayed nearby and ended up here to eat every evening despite looking at other menus locally as the food was just that good! Lovely owners, amazing food and reasonable prices. I wish you were my local! The courgette fritters, chicken pie and lamb cawl were just some of the best food we have ever eaten! The place has a great atmosphere with some background music and nicely decorated which makes a really nice vibe. Dog friendly. Staff all so nice and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

Went to the Tregyb with a friend whilst staying in Llandeilo. It’s cosy, welcoming, dog friendly and has a log burner! The menu might be small but the food was delicious, not your typical pub grub either. We both went for the chicken tacos and would definitely recommend! The perfect place to spend an evening after a day of walking and travelling. The staff were lovely, attentive and all other customers seemed relaxed, always a good sign!

Once a real traditional farmers pub, located near the bridge over the river Towy to Llandeilo, the Tregeyb has been transformed under new ownership. Now a cosy bar and restaurant, maintaining the traditional pub feel, but combining it with stylish decor, cocktails, tapas style menu, excellent service and a great atmosphere! Perfect for a Friday night with friends, relaxing family lunch or chill out reading the paper on a Sunday after a long walk with dog. Comfy sofas, log burner, great choice of food and drinks and a great playlist in the background! Nothing else like it in Llandeilo.

Feel lucky to have this pub so close to home! A great place to go, being as a couple or with friends (we often go as a family, and our daughters really enjoy the food). There's a really nice homely and welcoming feel to the pub, and the owners and staff are great and chatty. The food is absolutely lovely, especially if you enjoy sharing or a tapas-like meal, and they often have a local wood-fired pizza evenings in the summer, often with an open fire pit and live music in the beer garden. Diolch yn fawr am y croeso! It's always a warm welcome, and well worth a visit (or repeated visits!). O yeah, forgot to mention, it's one of a very few pubs where I really enjoy the music playlist.👍

From the outside, this looks a bit run down but it’s a hidden gem with a lovely atmosphere, dog friendly and great staff. They catered for a vegetarian coeliac with no issue. Can’t wait to go back!

What a bloody lovely pub! We stopped here after a hefty walk and a half and in desperate need for water and a lovely glass of wine. The owner who I believe restored this building with this wife have done a fantastic job. The interior is beautiful but the beer garden is fab! We had martinis which were divine. The owners wife even brought a speaker out so we could chill in true fashion. Highly recommend. Big carpark as well :-)

Nice friendly pub. We were looking for somewhere to eat lunch that allowed dogs and we were not disappointed. Food was slow to arrive but is cooked fresh not mass produced. We were just hungry so 50 minutes seemed a long time. Menu is OK. Not traditional pub food but all 5 of us enjoyed our meal. Only criticism is nothing comes with sides everything is extra e.g. chicken tenders £9.95 has no salad or chips with it, chips are £4.50 but you do get a fair amount. Would we eat there again, YES. For a small village this pub is a real gem 💎 Friendly staff and happy customers.

Decided to visit Llandovery on a cold and wet November weekend , popped into the Bear for lunch as it stood out amongst the towns buildings. We received a warm welcome from the staff who seated us quickly The lunch menu was varied and catered for all tastes and the food served was delicious and the portions were generous, I had the gourmet hot dog and would highly recommended A good selection of local beers were available and also locally produced spirits . The inside decor was cozy and rustic , and the seating was comfortable. I'm so glad we chose to visit as we all had a lovely lunch. Highly recommend
