Wow, what a find. My son was missing playing pool, so Googled local pool tables and the Trapp Inn came up. We visited twice in 2 days, both days we were made to feel very welcome. We were only on holiday, but my son was invited to join in on Mondays. If we lived in Northumberland he would. Fabulous, re-felted tables and my son was even lent a great cue by the bar man. I wish we had found the Trapp Inn at the beginning of our holiday. Thank you.

Thought we would give this place a try as the other reviews and photos of the Sunday lunch looked good. We got there around 1.15pm.however we waited at least 45 minutes to be served (to be fair to the lady behind the bar this wasn't her fault it seemed to be the fault of the kitchen, she was also very apologetic and friendly) When we finally received our food and it was nothing like the photos, the only veg we got was 1 floret of broccoli and 1 floret of cauliflower, carrots, 3 scrappy roast potatoes and some mash (which did taste nice but was lumpy) 2 small slices beef and most annoyingly both our yorkshire puddings were burnt to a cinder. I asked if I could have a replacement and was told no as they only had enough for the other table (who ordered after us!) Not impressed at all. Before I get the response that I should have fed this back, I thought it was a waste of breath as it was far too much trouble to get a replacement Yorkshire pudding never mind anything else. Do not recommend this place at all.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay here, the family room was large, beautifully decorated and welcoming. The staff were fantastic and we enjoyed a good evening meal too. Many thanks

Excellent pub! Friendly staff, good selection of drinks, nice food, good bandit and duke box and open all day everyday - unlike some other pubs in the area.

Can highly recommend this pub. Meal was beautiful, 2 courses for £12.95 and the staff couldn't do enough for us. They even brought another Yorkshire pudding and gravy for my son when we had our sweet. Little bowl of dinner for the dog. Everything was lovely, thankyou 😁

Went for a meal, with my Sister and Brother in law. They'd booked the table, but it had been late, in the previous night. There were 13 of us, altogether, and the chef had been unaware of this, until She came in for work. She did herself proud and produced some wonderful meals for us all. The bar staff/ waitresses were hard working, and proficient at there duties, too. Although it's a smallish place, the staff were on point, cheery, and work hard. I left a tip for them, because they'd certainly deserved it. Thank you all.

My wife and I popped in for some lunch and it was the worst food we have ever had. My wife's food was a burnt gammon and 2 BURNT BLACK slices of pineapple. We would never eat there again. Showed the lady on the bar how black the pineapple was but nothing was said.

Great place with great service. Rooms were very clean and tidy. Breakfast was great and just what we needed after a big night out.

In with husband for his pool practice. Had a beef burger and chips. Food excellent and staff wonderful. Would recommend to anyone.

Am OK pub. Not much atmosphere. Nice staff though and clean.

We stayed for one night, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean, the beds comfortable and the food great. The only negative from our stay was there was a party on the night we stayed which was quite noisy until late. We were told about this prior to our stay though so can't fault the staff, just unfortunate timing 😊
