Family pre theatre meal, pre ordered our food, great atmosphere, comfortable, friendly helpful staff, great food

Went for someones birthday and everyone enjoyed themselves. Food was great and the staff were brilliant, really friendly, helpful and efficient.

Went on a Saturday night to have dinner. I had the Balmoral chicken and it was Heavenly. Best creamed potatos I've ever had and they were able to replace the haggis with other veg for me. Very pleased with the service, food all arrived roughly the same time (we were a big group of 9). Loved the decor and overall had a great time. Didn't get a photo unfortunately

One of the best vegan curries had in a long time. The flavour was spot on. Staff were lovely nothing too much bother. Had a lot of students in so very popular. Prices for food and drink were good as well - would recommend.

Great for some casual drinks, we had a few different cocktails from their classic and sweetshop menus and all were amazing. It was really busy and had a great vibe all round, the staff were really polite and nice. I would highly recommend!

Had a lovey meal here for a friend's birthday. Food was delicious and there are lots of cocktails to choose from. It was busy at the time but staff were very efficient and friendly. Also have to mention how comfy the chairs are! Haha. Would definitely recommend and already booked in for a return visit 🙌

Second visit to The Tipsy Goat, was looking forward to this as first visit was very good. Quite disappointed with a couple of things: o Cleanliness - a lot food debris on floor which was quite off-putting. o Server spilled drinks on table and did not bat an eyelid (I cleaned it up) o Food, variable - a couple of dishes were ok but steak frites was rubbery and nachos were thrown together and quite unpleasant this time round (were previously very good). Will give it another a final shot in future in case the drop in performance was a one-off.

Table was booked but not available when arrived. When Table came free it was wiped down but not dried off. Had to ask for it to be dried, and one of the staff came to do that but the cloth used didn't smell very nice. Food took ages to come, and when it did the 2 steaks ordered were lukewarm. The food in general was average, nothing that would warrant a return visit. Staff pleasant enough, and we received a discount on the bill and a free round of drinks as they were obviously aware that our visit wasn't up to scratch . Good atmosphere in the place and it was busy, perhaps we were just unlucky

Staff are lovely. So kind and caring. Unfortunately, the food was just not great. Way too salty steak pie, the pulled pork on the pizza was okay but the base was burned. I sent my pie back and opted for the burger, but even that tasted like carbon. We felt terrible but just couldn't stomach much. So sorry 😞.

Date day with food and cocktails and there was no dissapointment. The food was amazing and we couldn't finish it all so managed to take the rest away with us. and the prices were amazing for what we got. Two mains, a starter, a side and 5 coctails and all for £66 pound.

Lunchtime on a Sunday, very quiet. In fact, we were the only table in the place. Food was about what you expect, burgers were fine, basic fries nothing fancy. Ditto for the hotdogs. Cocktails were good, but needs more people

Came across this place at random one wet, cold evening in Dundee. Although it seems targeted at students, the service and food was amazing. Great quality and portions at a decent price. Would return again if I return to Dundee.

Went in tonight with 3 friends to be told it was TABLE service. We waited over 5 mins to realise there was 3 bar tenders standing talking to eachother behind the bar. As other customers got served (at the bar) that came in after us meant we waited even longer. Result of this meant we got no service what so ever and walked out! Great frist experience! Wont be back.

Prices were excellent, food was fab. It's the second time I have had the Southern Fried Chicken Burger and I reckon it was even better second time around.
