Beans & Berries in Dundee City

I absolutely adore Beans & Berries and today I was there for my birthday for the 2nd year in a row with some family. They're all so lovely and you're served quick. They didn't have the flavour of popping bubbles I wanted and so immediately came up when they realized, asking if I wanted an alternative. Still managed to serve it with everyone else's food even with the delay. Exemplary service, lovely atmosphere, and delicious food. To many more years :)

Came in on Sunday to pick up parcels from the Amazon counter. Staff had mopped the floor and neglected to put any signage up, and were too busy looking at their phones to alert me to the fact as I entered. Ended up sliding across the floor and falling, was just lucky to not roll my ankle or twist my arm. Do better!

Large menu selection for all lunch needs. Lovely waffles and crepes. Dog friendly and great mix of smoothies, Boba tea, milkshakes, etc. Highly reccomend!

Took an hour and a half to arrive. Order was wrong and hot food was all freezing cold

I had their samosa’s and it was so good, I had to go back and get another one 😂

We been visting here for many times,just beacuse the food is good,but the service we are getting from here is very disappointing. Customers are the key for their success,having a smile on the face doesnt make any bad to your shop. I am writing the review,after getting this bad service from beans and berries. Never again

Nice authentic taste of Bubble tea just sometimes old bobas made them not as chewy as should.

Quite a plain looking cafe but absolutely excellent food. Popular with locals which is always a good sign. Dog friendly which we were looking for. Milkshakes and freak shakes were exceptional. Portions pretty big - we over-ordered but this meant we sampled a few different things. Very good pancakes, generously filled panini, nice bacon on the toastie. Definitely recommend.

Amazing food and service! The options are great and everything we ordered tasted great. It was quite affordable as well!

Its is difficult to give a true star review as i never fot to eat the food- i placed order and left a note asking for no topping due to allergy. Originally order arrived in good time HOWEVER it was not correct. I called store who didnt see i had left a note regarding allergy. I called store who offered voucher but i requested replacment- gave address and was told would call me back if get driver. Eventually called me back saying a replacment would be with me in 15mins...it still hasnt arrived over 2 hrs later. So i cant give a true review, only share my experience. Very disapointing.

Can't complain, great food with great value~ Highly recommended, have a good start with a good breakfast. The staff is very nice and the vibe is relaxing. *Mixed breakfast

Food was alright for the price but confusing. Ordered a mexican burger. Nothing mexican about it, they just put chicken tikka spread on it. Asked one of the guys, he just looked at me pretending to be confused, didn't answer and just smiled / walked off.

Ordered again after a good experience last time with our waffles. The prices were quite high but for what we got last time, we paid this. The pancakes come and they were burnt. All that was on the pancakes was a bit of Nutella and a bueno bar, don’t even think it was a full bar. So 8.99 for a bueno bar and a few burnt pancakes, I seriously was NOT impressed. Will order elsewhere next time

Pancakes are lovely. Smoothies are nice wasn’t sure about the wee bubbles I didn’t enjoy them. It took a wee while for food to come. But it was lovely and I’d go back. They have oranges literally everywhere lol

Wandered in with my kids today and received a warm welcome. Staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Large menu with many options. Kids opted for bacon rolls. I had a samosa and an espresso. Everything was made to good quality with very good attention to detail. Bill was surprisingly low at the end. Didn't have the ice cream but it looked tempting and will try next time. Good value for quality of good. Excellent service and very kind. Large vegetarian menu.

Didn't know what to expect when I walked in with 3 hungry children, but the owner was very welcoming. We ordered simple food: bacon rolls, garlic bread, samosas and coffee. The food was all better than it needed to be and was carefully made. The bacon rolls were generous and the garlic bread was very tasty. My children loved the food and the espresso was well pulled with a thick crema. Through out the meal the owner was very kind and attentive. The food was an excellent value and we look forward to returning and trying more specialties on the menu.

We just had breakfast this morning, croissant- pancake stack with bacon & maple syrup- fresh orange juice & 2 double expresso- just under £22. Food was fresh hot, tasty, delicious - background music sounded like my mums record collection- excellent 10 /10. Bring your appetite, you won’t go home hungry. Will definitely revisit the next time in Dundee.

DO NOT ORDER THE FULL BREAKFAST!!! instead of sausages they gave me a hot dog! A stale heal of bread beans in WATER and a CHARCOAL small peice or garlic bread. The eggs were rubbery aswell. The only thing I could eat was the bacon!!! DISGUSTING

It was good... Orange juice was Fresh...Nice ambience...

Quality: I didn't like the hotdog sausage with all day breakfast. Service: The drinks were not put in the tray properly and went all over the floor as soon as the door was shut.

My adult daughter introduced me to Beans & Berries, now we visit every time I'm in Dundee. Delicious every time. Some of the items on the menu are especially good for those with a sweet tooth.

No queuing here,food was First class Fast Tasty Cheap And the place was quiet so a table anywhere you like,far better than the chain cafes round the corner

Overall just amazing. Loved the milkshake and the sweets, loved the cookie dough.

The toppings were above and beyond and quite excellent, however the hot chocolate itself was a little bland, not particularly rich or with any consistency, and could certainly be improved. The venue was lovely however. 7/10

Have been eating at Beans and Berries for years. Absolutely love this place- yummy deserts, consistent, well executed, and with lovely staff. Always so welcoming, and very special to my partner and I as this is where we went for many of our early dates! Six years this July and we've been enjoying waffles from Beans and Berries for every one of them.

We ordered ice cream milkshakes which are meant to be thick and our milkshakes were just milk in a cup were disgusting also no sauce around or bottom of cup

Great food, excellent service. Had a mixed breakfast with cooked and pancakes both were delicious. The standalone pancake was served with loads of fresh fruit and ice cream. Very impressed, will be back

Usually comes a wee bit cold but I’m not even fussed bc of how good it is, the food tastes unreal and the bubble tea is always top tier

I had to call the place twice to ask where the order was. And they were twenty later than expected time

There was a big delay in getting food but they were very sorry as they had a busy morning . The lady put in a free cheesecake for being late which was delicious. Would def order again and hoping the delay was just a one off

Walked in and asked for a wafle with crispy bacon after ling wait wafle arrived half cooked and become was sogy don't expect getting what you ask for coming to this place

Never again, the buns are iceland frozen buns, the chips looked a week old, the brownie was tiny, high price low quality food. Not worth the 90 min wait.

Pancakes were pre made ones, not fresh and just covered in ton of cream to disguise them. Waffle was again pre made with alot of rose syrup. Overall, very poor quality of food.

Bubble tea was decent although the place was a bit dim inside. However, they have a great selection of bubble teas and fruit teas to choose from!

Panini was great but chips were cold and didn't have any cheese on them as ordered, coffee was cold and sent diet in bru instead of normal

Came over an hour after I ordered chips were burnt delivery driver parked outside and sat on his phone for 10 mins before coming to door when food was already late.

Service was slow and a bit erratic but the food was lovely and the staff were friendly

I would rate gelato for ok. Hope it could be more chewy and not so sugary. Nice decoration with all the oranges.

Panini’s we’re brilliant as always, accidentally put cheese on the burger and forgot the smoothie we ordered but the customer service is amazing and they sorted me out right away with replacements and a free slice of cake! Lovely staff and thanks again 😁

Mixed up my order. I had ordered a brown sugar oolong but a peach oolong arrived. Disappointed but when phoned the restaurant they said I could request a refund through just eat. Really apologetic about the mix up.

The Italian coffee is great and the cakes were fresh and very tasty. The staff were very friendly. Very cheap for the quality. Will certainly visit again

Ordered and was due to be delivered after 35 mins, 1 hr 20 mins late it arrives and the ice cream had all melted and the cookie dough was burnt on the bottom, very disappointing

Very disappointing, parts of the meal were good, but the chips were overcooked, the salad was bland, and they even forgot one of our drinks.

delivery driver came late so I wasnt home left clear instruction but they ignored it - and no note to say he had been or that he had left it with a random neighbour - so I didnt receive anything and now wont answer me

Without a doubt the BEST coffee in the city you can buy (tried probably everywhere you can get coffee in town). Head and shoulders above the rest, warm and friendly environment and fantastic food. A true highlight of Dundee City Centre.

Interesting place, abit different to other cafes. Huge menu! The desserts looked good. Had a salad and orange juice. Both were good. Would eat here again

Huge range of savoury and sweet foods, the centrepoint of which being their extravagant and decadent desserts and milkshakes. My (vegan) choices on the last visit were a Med-veg flatbread with dressed salad, fennel and cardamom tea, and a delicate vanilla cheesecake. It can get quite noisy downstairs when busy, a mix of patrons, music, and kitchen appliances at work, but it's not enough nuisance to dock a star for.

Different experience . Nice and clean with a wide selection of drinks and eats from snacks to meals. Coffee was enjoyable an Italian roasted blend without being to bitter. Well worth another visit.

I come here regularly with a friend to catch up, the staff are always so welcoming and friendly and up for a chat. The food and drinks are delicious and they have a lot of vegan options too which is great.

Awesome food, value for money. Worth visiting. Don't go with the look of shop. Just go inside & order; everything is just awesome. Don't miss Orange juice :-)

Fantastic food. The menu could use more detail as to what’s in each dish, it’s a bit of a gamble at the moment. The smoothie I ordered was great but not really worth the price for what it was. Food was outstanding though. Recommended!

The food was freezing!! There was half the items missing. An absolute waste of money. Food was solid. Even my dog wouldn't eat it

Picked this place at random. Sandwiches tasted good, good portions. Nice iced chai latte. Staff where very welcoming. Sat outside and people watched

Terrible service. ordered food at roughly 6:40 and had to phone to change something which was fine. Waited roughly 45 minutes and got a notification saying it was on its way but nothing came. Phoned to see what was happening at roughly 8 and got told they had to remake my order because they gave it to the wrong address. Waited and waited and had to phone again at 8:40 as there was still no sign of my delivery but nobody answered. Kept phoning and phoning but no answer at all. absolutely shocking service, not going to bother going here again.

Female travelling on my own, staying in a cheap hotel for work, so walked around Dundee and found this place for dinner. I really liked it - the chairs need recovering but the food was fresh and clean tasting and the staff made me feel very welcome and not intimidated which I was grateful for. I had insalata mixta without tuna, and a green juice with Apple, pear, avocado, kiwi & mint… didn’t photograph well but was very tasty!!

Excellent place. The food costs a bit, but they do NOT skimp on what goes on the plate. You are getting full here, and you are getting full in style, just look at other people's photos here already, they are not cherry picked, they really do serve those desserts this fancy and there is no compromise on flavour.

Amazing milkshakes and really good pizza too

£8 for apparently 16oz of juice. Skip the so-called 'mocktail'. When I called the restaurant they said that it's all dressed for people who come in, which isn't much use for delivery. Also, it was a 12oz cup, I weighed it out and compared it to another 12oz cup I had. Caveat emptor.
