Great pub, really reasonable price, for really good food.

Sunday dinner in this establishment is my opinion second to none Cooked well quick service tasty meal Would recommend a visit

Very poor hygiene Staff eating with fingers/on their phones then putting salad on plates without washing hands/disgusting

All the sport, great drink selection and well priced pub food staples. Great parmos.

Was passing and just popped in for breakfast with my wife great service, great atmosphere you and great food. Definitely will be back great value.

On the roast dinner the veg was under cooked, the beef was cold, the gravy had powder lumps and the swede and potato wash had lumps. I would expected better from a Sunday lunch.

Got a parmo. Chips were lovely. Parmo was to greasy for my liking and you could see the large grease piles on the plate which wasn't very nice

Parmo looked great but was ridiculously cold. The first time going there won't be going back

Rude bouncers! My husband and fifteen year old son had played a charity football game nearby. We went with the team to the Tipsy Cow for a quick drink but got stopped at the door at 6pm and told “no kids.” But we were then allowed in if we stayed less than half an hour. Wow. Nice. ‘We’ll accept your money if you’re quick’ mentality.

I came here to watch the Boro match with some friends. A good selection of beers on offer and wasn't too busy, although most tables were full it wasn't too packed. It's good to have a nice bar to visit in Acklam without going into town.

Excellent place, comfortable surroundings, good variety of food, and tasty at a reasonable price, however parking is a problem, otherwise it would have been a five star thoughout ,well worth a visit.

Always a great atmosphere and great food too!

Been a few times since it opened but I no longer live in the area so that is the reason why. Been in twice this year one in July and again in August. Will be back

Love this place, fantastic menu which is very varied so you’ll find something for everyone, the food is lovely and fresh and always amazing quality, unbelievable value for money. Service makes the experience too always friendly, welcoming and helpful. Shout out to Neil and Eleanor who are always great.

Food is very good indeed . unfortunately the noise is sometimes far too loud . not a place for a quiet chat

First time in this pub we just called in for a couple if pints.. pretty good pub, we'll probably try it again

Went and tried the place today, partner got a hotshot parmo served cold cheese underneath not even melted staff made aware and rectified I had chicken and stuffing baguette which also wasn't cooked properly resulting in me being feeling sickly for the rest of the afternoon. Big disappointment

It's just an average pub. I really don't see why people rave about it. Seems a lot of people are easily pleased.

Went to have a birthday meal, on entering noticed there was a wake on , no sign saying private engagement, was told , had to leave , not a problem , we should never have been put in that position if there had been a notice notify of private event , very disappointed

Brilliant for watching the football but, once they turn the music up then the clientele change, the gaudy chains, fake tan and the lycra crew turn up and that's just the bloke's 😉 Never sampled the food yet

Really pleasant bar with great food. Can get quite busy at times - indicative of the quality the place. Decent range of beers. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Facilities are very good and well maintained. Recommended.

pub food ....its over priced , nice chips though , pint of lemonade with orange cordial £3.45 is a bit much though , very low ceiling which makes the place noisy as hell. manager bit of a ignorant jumped up pot bellied dullard . not the most charming place as most customers are chavs at best

It's MarKO Talking from Facebook Radio my first time visit to the Tipsy Cow I ordered my most favourite meal Egg Ham And Chips beautiful really enjoyed it I recommend this meal if u are hungry quite expensive but aren't most pubs these days

I rang a few days before to ask what time they were serving food until, they said 4.30 pm, we got there at 4.10 pm asked for a menu and he said you have 5 mins to order. We went to the bar to order and he said your 5 mins is up, I turned around and he took the menu, so half of our table had ordered and half hadn’t. He was rude and impatient with us and when I asked for a pot of tea, he pulled a face. We’ve been there previously for breakfast and it was lovely but I’d never go for tea again. Very poor customer service.

Never been here before, wasn't even aware it was there! Lovely and toasty warm, food wasn't too bad either, food and drink reasonably priced. The only sticking point was sitting right under the loud speaker so could barely hear any conversation, drop the music a few notches and it'd be great. Will definitely give it another go.

We were 3 ladies at lunch. Great choice on the menu all reasonably priced. Quire busy but added to the atmosphere. Definitely go back and recommend to friends.

Good selection of food but I felt prices of some things were overpriced, such as the fish and chips. The atmosphere is pleasant but so many tv's. We ordered 3 chicken parmos and a scampi. The scampi was a large portion so more expensive but when it arrived, comparing it to other establishments, it was not a large portion of scampi or chips.They were delivered to the table in a reasonable time but without cutlery which came afterwards. We could only praise the food it was very nice but when you are paying Tipsy Cow prices you expect more than a few chips in a wire basket. What's wrong with putting them on the plate? Overall I'd go again but wouldn't have it as my 1st choice. Good menu choice Nicely cooked food Some items overpriced Chip portions too small

Been here loads of times usually a good place to come, let down today with barley lukewarm parmos. Came here for my partner's birthday, came for a few drinks some food and after ringing up twice asking if they'd show the South Africa Wales rudgy game which they said yes too. They told us they wouldn't show it. Big let down today. No apology for the parmo just told me she'd let the kitchen know. I will not be returning £26 for two lukewarm parmos. We cancelled a steakhouse to come here as we thought we were able to watch the rugby.

Great food as always from here. They have a range of food and drinks available and cater for allergies such as coeliac. I had a gluten free Sunday lunch (it is advisable to call in advance) but they made sure everything was safe and it was delicious. All my family really enjoyed their food too and they’re quite fussy.

Nice enough place with a nice covered area out front and fairly cheap, 3 drinks was just over £10. But the first drink I had I noticed a few bits floating in it as I was nearing the bottom of the pint and the second pint the glass was dirty round the rim. Kinda puts u off a bit.

Always a good experience here. The food is delicious, staff lovely and friendly and atmosphere great.

Food amazing staff very rude booked a table and we're told we hadn't and he was right we were wrong. No apology. Wouldn't go back shame when food so good but atmosphere ruined it.

Had Sunday lunch there ,food amazing,had roast beef dinner,beef was so tender,home made Yorkshire puddings, everything was spot on.

I have used this cafe/restaurant a lot ov the last few months and have loved the food, customer service has been excellent. However my experience today was vastly different. A Gentleman who I haven’t seen before was working the till he had on a blue shirt so maybe he is a manager. His attitude towards the customers was very rude and unprofessional to the point where I was Going to order dessert but didn’t want to go up to the till so I went elsewhere.

Very nice place. The food and the price is good. The Chicken Parmo really good. The staff could be a bit more helpful and friendly. I recommend for everyone to visit this place.

Very popular on a weekends ,great place for watching sport and good inexpensive meals, has a welcoming ambience to it too, shows what can be achieved as this site was previously a Subway outlet

Tipsy cow is place to eat every meal I've had has been amazing and I've been lots now .staff friendly very efficient .would highly recommend it

So disappointed usually good service Not eating presently as we have just lost our dog of 15 years My husband specifically asked well done steak for me and after at least 30 mns came with mine really pink So couldn’t eat it brought it home in a box But no dog to feed it tooo

Good pub grub had half parmo and chips .It was very tasty and plenty of chips. Reasonably priced as where drinks xx It was busy inside got second to last table but there was room outside .Our visit was cut short as there was booked out for a function but we were told before we ordered and that was fine .I think we would have had a dessert and another drink if time permitted. Good ambiance and pleasant service .We will be back.

Parm0 was good,along with chips. How we’ve disappointed with the vegan / veggie burger as they favorise a bun- which isn’t vegan - and they havnt made an effort to add sauce or anything. Staff were blunt. And the onion rings were disappointing. It’s a shame.

My Husband and I went yesterday afternoon our first visit. Staff lovely food was exceptional. We will definitely be back. A lovely pint to and very clean.

Been quite a few times recently for food, sunday lunches and mid week tea, won’t be going again as they don’t seem to know how to answer the phone to book a table . Their loss

I've been here on a couple of afternoon visits with my two siblings. Both times I enjoyed the Half Parmo. The portion was just right in size. Not too much nor too little for my appetite at the time. As tasty as a chicken parmo can be and well presented. Perfectly cooked and in good time. A well run establishment that I can highly recommend. On a different note it is marked in the game of Pokémon go as a Pokéstop and from there you can reach the Coronation Pokégym over the road.

Had a Christmas party here , the bar staff where polite and hard working, but the owner was very rude and abusive to one of my work colleagues , he actually swore in her face , and seemed drunk himself. I will not return. Seems a chewy atmosphere. Feel sorry for his employees.

Went with a few friends had a drink and a meal. Food was really good and very good value, definitely will go again. As this was my first visit I was impressed.

We went for breakfast and food was lovely, came out hot. The vegetarian sausages were really nice. The guy who served us was so helpful and pleasant. Will definitely go again.

Where do I begin Booked a table for 1pm for Sunday dinner to be told 40 minute wait (was busy so didn’t mind) to be still waiting 1 hour and 20 minutes later, when asked where our food was we were told we were next, to then wait for another 20 minutes. Food eventually arrived freezing cold!! When we asked to speak to a manager who apparently was ‘busy’ we spoke to someone called ‘Neil’ who basically called us liars and tried to re heat our chicken when someone was 9 months pregnant. Not apologetic at all and stood there arguing with us. Absolutely disgusting customer service. Could write so much more but won’t even bother will not be returning.
