Been here many times and its always fantastic. The food is really fresh tasting and the choice is great. The young lad is efficient and friendly and the service is excellent. Has lots of fresh local produce for sale too and their is a large soft play area for kids. Good value for something that bit different and I strongly recommend going here.

We went to the TIN COO after checking their web site to find out milking times. Four o’clock every afternoon. Arriving we were disappointed outside looked run down , we just put it down to the time of year. Inside was as we expected after reading reviews. We explained that it was our first time and the young girl pointed out the cow milking viewing area and the soft play. The soft play area did not disappoint our grandson. How ever to fill in time we had burger and sandwiches coffee and juice £27.50. We were talking about the cow milking to our grandson when the waitress said there is no cow milking, the cows are feeding there calf’s, disappointment ! We then were told by another person that they have got rid of the milking herd. As we were leaving at 3.45 people were arriving for the 4.00 milking. Would have thought they would have updated there website. No easy task getting there

Arrived for pumpkin carving and some lunch. Kids loved the wheelbarrows and collecting and carving their pumpkins. Great idea! Very friendly and helpful staff in the outside area. Lunch for 5 of us, kids burgers went down a treat. They also had Halloween strawberry special milkshake, always a winner. The stacked Coo burger was amazing, homemade double burger that was perfectly cooked complete with Gooey Camembert cheese etc. Amazing. All in all another great visit, the extended outside area looks well and is a good addition to the mini farm and play areas.

Booked an afternoon tea with friend for 1pm last week . Arrived on time and waited until 1.50pm for the food . Savoury foods were lovely but the cakes all melted and soft. Clearly not stored in the fridge. Service was slow to say the least. The poor solo waitress was trying to keep up with demand but difficult when speed is no applied. Unsure if this is advertised correctly as three sheep , a couple of goats and two turkeys does not make a farm !

Lovely shop lovely food lovely service and staff. One thing I’d say if you little one can’t walk fully by themselves or climb this is not the easiest soft play area though it says 1-6 yrs only if they can climb and have good walking balance yes it good. Play area and animal park could do with been updated and more disabled friendly. Grass paths could of been cut and animal shed doors would be better facing where public can see them inside shed as well as out side.(as most were in shed:-( The sinks for washing hands after visit is unclean and not looked after. I feel they have spent more time on shop and cafe but if you advertise a pet area please make it more safe accessible for children and disabled. Great idea just needs more work on animal park and play area . Points are for out side not inside

Lovely little place , play area for kids, some farm animals to view We sat outside as it was a lovely day Service was slow , perhaps because we had a table outside ? When the young waitress did come out We asked her what the soup of the day was She didn’t know , i found that disappointing, she didn’t know what was on the menu !! She had to go back in to find out I ordered macaroni and chips, which the macaroni was tasteless, the chips were lovely My hub had a club sandwich he also said was tasteless, my daughter had a ceaser salad , she enjoyed it , but her hot chocolate had lumps of chocolate in it , that no matter how much she stirred wouldn’t go away The place itself is nice and quaint Worth a visit , I would go back , but the macaroni needs improved to taste like cheese ? restaurants never seem to get hot chocolate right Sells some cards , and cuddly toys, mugs, some foods Nice little place, just have your staff know what’s on the menu And more taste to the food 😀

Ploughman’s came with 2 slices of bread but no butter? Everything was fine but no wow factor. Table next to us ordered scones and they looked quite small. I think the idea is great, you can eat in cafe while they are milking the cows,I just think a little bit more thought would make this a fab place to eat!
