The Tiger Inn in East Riding of Yorkshire

Had a fab birthday celebration in here. The locals were really friendly. We were a girl group and the atmosphere was ace, helped enormously by the karaoke. This was the second pub we visited and so we decided to stay. As the atmosphere was so good. The only thing that needs looking at is the wine list. Ok, so it wasn’t expensive but put something on with a bit more bite. The Sav blanc wasn’t good at all. No marks lost for this as it’s our preference. Ooh and one of the locals got us free shots for 14 of us! Way to go. A fab day/night out.

Great atmosphere at 1030 on a Saturday night. Busy bar, loud music and plenty of choice of drinks.

Travelled to this venue because they were taking part in Springfest event. No age restrictions advertised anywhere but our 16 yr old daughter was not allowed to enter the premises, despite ID and being with both parents. Fine that some venues are 18+, but if this applies for events promoted as a family festival, it should be in promotional material. Very disappointed and won't be back. Not sure what would have happened if we'd arrived a few min earlier before 7, assume we'd have been removed.

Always been a great pub with quality atmosphere for the 30 years I've been going in the Tiger Pub.

The Tiger Inn Cottingham is an excellent community pub. A wide range of beer, sadly no cask conditioned real ale, but on the plus side the cheapest pint of worthingtons anywhere. Sadly I arrived as the afternoon quiz was just starting it seemed a lot of fun I'm sorry I missed out. The staff are friendly, the tiger is a really nice pub

Nice people, nice staff, & you get the old traditional pub experience.

Visited here twice over the last month or so, could be such a good place if it wasn’t for the 2 female bouncers ruining everyone’s night. Overly aggressive in their manner when dealing with people enjoying the dance floor. Can’t fault the locals and bar staff but both visits these two have spoilt a good night, zero people skills and understanding just an aggressive cold manner ruining an atmosphere time after time.

Avoid like the plague, was in there today singing on the karaoke,, I am a 76 year old 5 ft woman, a man over 6 foot playing pool elbowed me in the back four times so I smacked him on the head with the microphone. I was thrown out and had my pint of beer costing £5 taken off me. It's a case of if your face fits you can get away with anything

Good prices on drinks very competitive and all the sports u need,good service and some excellent staff. Rest room available, smoke area with outside heating and TV. No disabled parking, but disabled access. Pool table and dart board. Hot drinks available as well as a good choice of beers, wines and spirits.Live music, Disco and Karaoke on certain afternoon's and nights.Also now a games and quiz afternoon from 230ish on a Thursday afternoon, £1 per head for the quiz with the winners getting a full round of drinks, card bingo £1 a go with the winner takes all,Open the box £1 a ticket with 9 prizes ,all to be won on the day, Play your cards right £1 a ticket with a roll over cash prize and FREE sandwiches for all, Value all the way

Very good bar staff on the night was in. , just a bit of advice , if your paying an absolute karaoke dj that's too class , then u need 2 give him the facilitys to work with., soneone conning out on the karaoke night should be injoying there self, not willing to sing when u have sone1 playin pool 3cms away.. pool night or karaoke night . If u advertise it then it should be on its own .. just like b4. Lights off spotlight etc. After all pool can be played everyday 7 days a week.

Popped in with my daughter for a change. Lovely pub very welcoming from the door staff to the bar staff. Live music. Can’t go wrong. Jason and Louise (staff) were fantastic. Very efficient. Straight on the ball when they needed to be. They both stood out from the rest. Will defo go back.

They don't serve food.but they do allow you to eat your own food. We pop to the chip shop and eat it while we are having a pint . Great atmosphere friendly staff

Very busy, lively. Sport on TV, pool and good service served with a smile. Even saw people playing domino's....cracking boozer.

Visit regularly when in Cottingham. Always made to feel welcome by the staff and the drinks are great value for money.

Genuine landlord, working hard to succeed,good cheap beer,meat raffle,bingo and great entertainment with Dale and Barry every Fridays definitely the heart of Cottingham.

We went for a very last minute lunch for a party of 6. Didn't know what to expect but we were so impressed. Food was great, with smaller portions if you weren't as hungry. Prices were also fab. But what really made it was the staff - so friendly and accomodating. The place was also very well set to follow covid guidelines, with plenty of space between tables, staff wearing a mask and plenty of hand sanitiser stations. Would highly recommend! Thank you for a lovely meal!

Good night for a Monday after the electric 6 show at civic Hall, great to see some old faces haven't seen in a while.

Easy to get a bag in here and some sound geezers. Love getting off me nut in toilets and dj is a sick guy

Tiger is a proper pub. Can be a bit rough with all the benefitors on their weekly nightclub night out .. but overall you have a good night with good priced drinks. Pity the toilets aren't a bit better.

Almorzamos ayer y ambos Pedimos el bistec y tarta casera de hongos con patatas fritas, guisantes y salsa (una pequeña, una gran porción). Me paré aquí para una bebida en una tarde el personal es muy amable, pub mascotas con un kitsch interior no mal precio.

We were in Cottingham looking around and came upon the Tiger Inn we went in for a drink and also watched the football the were reasonably priced and was a good atmosphere

Never a bad meal here, great value, cosy pub, friendly service. Recommend the pies as they are homemade.
