The Tiger in Hackney

Its a cool spot and quite nice inside but Spent over £12 on two pints and they pulled out plastic cups for them? I thought the server may have thought we were sat outside which I would sort of get. When I asked if I could have glasses as we were sat inside I was told no... because it was busy? There was still seating available so it wasnt at all packed. Dissapointing really as there are so many other good pubs around here (The Adam+Eve and The Plough) which also have a better atmosphere and space. Will stick to going elsewhere.

Tuve mi fiesta de cumpleaños número 50 y mi fiesta de aniversario de boda 17 aquí en el salón de actos del piso superior el 3 de agosto de 2019.Qué maravilla que tuvimos fue simplemente perfecto. Todos lo pasamos muy bien. El personal que dirigió el bar fue práctico. Tenía alrededor de 60 a 70 personas allí y tenía mucho espacio definitivamente reservará mi próxima fiesta aquí muchas gracias muy recomendable.

Crecí cerca de aquí cuando este bar era una mezcla desenfrenada de irlandeses de Londres, delincuentes de poca monta y locales de las fincas cercanas. En serio, solían vender berberechos y mariscos en un puesto afuera. Entonces se cerró. Ahora reabierto y reconfigurado. El pequeño escenario se ha ido. Los locos se han ido. Los muchachos que venden productos eléctricos peligrosos también se han ido. La cerveza es infinitamente mejor. Hay familias aquí con tatuajes de moda en lugar de los hechos en casa. Puedes comprar una pizza de lujo. Las personas pueden animar a un equipo que no sea West Ham y no temer al hombre de la Crombie. Creo que se ha perdido algo.

Great staff and nice warm atmosphere,great drinks and surprisingly good food. Would highly recommend.

Great bar with function room upstairs with awesome light up dance wall. Regular music events and staff are very welcoming!

It was a sunny day. Sat outside on lovely fake grass. Bar staff very friendly & great choice of beers & lagers. Crisps mmmmm Muriel on building is fab. Recommend Pizzas looked great but didn’t have one. Will try one day

Probably the ‘ultimate’ pub. I went there for a private party upstairs in the function room. Fantastic decor Amazing sourdough Italian pizza, open until 2am on Friday and Saturday and they are showing food too. Highly recommended.

I have been there twice. It is a nice local pub that is not in the middle of the maddening crowds. If you are in the area it is worth a visit.

This used to be my local pub when I was living in London, they have a great cozy place with comfy chaires and sofas, it usually gets pretty busy during the weekends. The food is really good, they also have a terrace in a back for the summer.

This is our local pub. Really comfortable & friendly staff. Great exterior art work. Plenty of good beers & spirits to choose from Good food burgers & chicken wings with fries. Yummy ! Recommend

I can't believe I've found this place! Dj music until late, great music and amazing beer. A lot of space for party and fashion look of furniture... I will come back definitely!

I can't rave about this a pub because I think it could improve a great deal. It has such large windows but yet appears to be very dark inside. Bar staff are always happy to talk and are welcoming. There are black stools as soon as you enter that I have tripped over on numerous occasions because it is so dimly lit. They have a snack menu offering a wide variety of burgers and chips. There's a lovely old juke box that doesn't work although the music played is usually great if you like soul and funk, which I do. They pour a great Guinness and Angelo Poretti beer although it is more expensive than other pubs around the Victoria Park area and this is 5 minutes away from the park. The toilets are very clean. Staff are friendly. It's OK for one or two beers and if you like burgers, which I don't.
