Love "The Tich". Everything you expect from Wetherspoons (in a good way!) I used to visit once a week for one of their delicious breakfasts, but circumstances have changed and I can’t continue. Curry night is very good, but also very popular, so you can’t always get the curry you want.

Great value food. V tasty. Pleasant staff and efficient service.

Great Spoons Pub. Rumour it's closing once the lease is up and reverting back to a Hennessey Pub. Currently under spoons pipes are clean great selection of beers etc all at a great price in a friendly pub.

absolutely disgusted with the customer service of this place!!! i would leave 0 stars if i could! The Manager Jodie is extremely rude and doesnt know how to communicate with people in a civil manner. I never take the time out to leave reviews but this needs to be said...I went to my local pub for a few drinks with the family....as you do. and to be told after 2 drinks that we were no longer welcome is beyond belief. Ive never heard of a PUB that doesnt want to serve you after a few. Jodie the manager said we had been there 5+ hours and drank too much. i didnt know 2 drinks in 2 hours was an issue, i had only been out of work for 3hrs so how could i be in there for that long? i would understand if we were a problem but we were out of the way minding our own business. theres no wonder why the place is empty, and run down not to mention the rats running around in the kitchen and nobody seems to care. after seeing this i felt sick its disgraceful how the managers allow this pub to be run. My family and i will be telling everyone about our horrible experience and about the discrimination we have been subjected too. Steer clear, if you want somewhere friendly with a family environment this place is verrrrrryyy far from it!!!!

Stay away from the American cheese burger!!! Has a really off putting smell. The gherkin is far too big for the burger. I made a remark to staff as they brought another plate of food I had to order to replace my burger choice but not interested in my complaint and walked off, guess they don't care as I already paid for it on the app. The chicken tikka masala is great. So is the linghams garlic sweet chilli sauce.

Love this place the service is quick even when busy it's a shame it's closeing this year its such a popular pub with the local community and always busy cant work out why it is closeing

Have been going to this pub for a while normally for breakfast and up until today couldn’t fault it, ordered breakfast it arrives and I start to eat and find the beans are cold, the eggs have that snotty texture one of the hash browns are not cooked as well as no toast. I informed the bartender, she takes it away 5 minutes later it comes back and I get told I’m lucky because they have given me extra. Dumped warm beans on top of the cold ones and supplied the toast. Such a shame as it was all good up until today.

Visiting family we went for Saturday evening meal. Lovely warm atmosphere, quick polite service and everything was delicious.......and cheap! Will certainly visit again.

First time in here, though been to many other Weatherspoon pubs. Enjoying our chilled 3x Hooch offer - in this freezing weather and our food ( fish and chips and Chicken Tikka Masala Staff are very good Disabled Toilet is clean

It was quite busy so quite a din but there was still a nice atmosphere, with quick service. We had the sausage chips & beans which was very nice, followed by the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream, which was also very nice. The tea and coffee with free refills is very good value.

Great pub! Huge menu to choose from and a cosy atmosphere. Decent prices, very surprised about this as most of the pubs tend to have restaurant prices nowadays. Kids friendly. Parking on the street.

Very disappointed to hear that the Tichenham Inn is closing next year. This wetherspoons is a staple in the Ickenham community and has the best friendly atmosphere of any other wetherspoons pub I have been to in London. Really hope they change their minds on this one

The usual well priced Witherspoon is always good value for money. Had a wrap, but the chips were cold!! Otherwise very good wrap

Tables and glasses were dirty. Food just about ok, but then it is a Weatherspoon. Husband had mixed grill and the pork was pink inside. Staff were scruffy and unfriendly, all but one.

Dear Sir / Madam I am writing to inform you of my disgust in the unprofessional actions and customer service from your members of staff at your venue last Saturday, refusing to serve 21 year old guests with true and totally genuine ID. The way they dismiss any form of reasoning about the validity of ID is little more than deplorable. An infrared ID check device would be useful and proper training in ID checks would save you embarrassment. The team are rude, stuck up and not at all friendly. Your recent reviews show how downhill this place has gone.

Learnt today that this lovely pub is to close next summer which is sad news to those that regularly use it. This is such a wonderful hub for the local community and I just hope that the CEO can come and see this and have a change of heart.

Nice beer garden on the high street!

Warning to all those under 25 years old.... A guest of mine was refused alcohol during a family meal at this pub because the manager could not 'scan' an officially accredited and approved PASS logo ID. This is apparently a permanent issue. The refusal of this official ID totally contradicts the company website which says that this form of age verification is allowed. Neither the manager nor their head office were willing to explain this contradiction. The company's customer service department has failed to respond to my last email when I asked for an executive office contact, despite keeping things honourable and polite. This experience spoiled a family meal and the poor lack of response afterwards has just rubbed salt into the wound. The response of the employee at their Customer Services afterwards simply brushed us off with what seemed to be a poorly worded generic response. All of this means I will now take my future business elsewhere. Very disappointing indeed, especially as the family was out for a celebration. Be warned if you have a family member or guest that looks under 25 or indeed you yourself, if wanting to drink alcohol.

Poor service! No sense of customer service and how to handle unhappy customers! This comes from the lady who served us and manager too! Very disappointed! I would go as far as to say there was some level of profiling but all we got were excuses from staff and management! Regret going and won’t go back! Very disappointing! I give 2 stars because the guy behind the bar was awesome and seemed to enjoy his job!

A fairly standard Wetherspoon pub, cheaper prices than the centre of town. Not by and large crowded during the day. An OK choice of real ales.

A lovely place with reasonable prices!!! A diverse range of drafts and cocktails, and everyday meal deal were my pleasures. I will relocate to other city soon but I can't forget this place ever!!

Went there before watching the football. Spent quite a bit of money and wa interacting with all the fans in a sociable and friendly way. My brother and I were then informed the opposing fans bought us some food which we obviously felt we he had to eat as they were sat next to us. As my brother went to the bar to order some more drinks he was abused by manager saying we ate some other tables food. I went to the bar to clear the up the matter and I said that the opposing fans said they bought us the food hence we felt obliged to eat it but the real issue was your staff bringing food to the wrong table! I offered to even pay for the meal even though the issue was not ours! Obviously they refused as they knew it was their issue. The manager said my brother had leave even though they took no accountability and provoked the situation. Manager lacked skills and needed training plus members of staff were quite loud and mouthy while I was talking in a calm and collective manner. I know I won’t get a response as I’m pretty sure the manager would struggle to access a computer!

Good pub, decent management during the day and evening. A few of the younger staff members' attitudes are a bit questionable. Overall for the food, drinks and pricing... can't go far wrong. Worth a visit

The most arrogant, ill mannered, obnoxious staff, led by a manageress of the same ilk. Wetherspoons is a great cheap and cheerful Institution normally with pleasant staff. This place is the exception and should be avoided.

Tom the manager was very accommodating this morning 'had breakfast 'very pleasant young man,took my order with a smile'abd waitress very pleasant and efficient delivered it,all in all a great time,thanks to the welcoming staff on duty not forgetting the chef who made a delicious breakfast.

You can't beat the Tich for great beers, a good atmosphere and tasty value for money food! Just had the large breakfast. Great value with a few coffee refills.

Wonderful little pub- emphasis on little compared to other spoons. Clean and tidy with a few booths and a mixture of high and low tables. Small bar (I said it was a small place) all lit up on Christmas eve. The Guinness was excellent

Lovely pub. Nice ambience and good service. Being a weatherspoon, it is generally good value, food and beer are good and cheap as expected, but sometimes too much of a pound shop: the coffee for example is not up to scratch. Also, sadly, HS2 goons pollute the pub with their unwanted presence rather than hide behind their fences and high court order as they should. I don't want to see anything HS2 when I go to the pub to relax. I expect the rest of ruislip and ickenham feel the same way. I'd expect pub management to apply discretion as to who they serve.

Classic spoons. Same as any other. Really friendly staff and very cheap and cheerful prices. It's not gourmet fine dining and the place is a bit tatty. But for the price, the location and the quality of service it's well worth a visit. Don't set the bar too high and remember, you're in a Weatherspoons not a Michelin star.

I mean it’s a weird sort of place- where tradesmen come for a cheap pint and probably still drive home… it’s got a comforting kind of warmth but also a cold “don’t come in” vibe- I don’t know what to make of it yet. I’m sure by the time I’ve moved away I’ll be able to give you the right words.

Great experience here after leaving ' the trash pit which is the Good Yarn in Uxbridge! Worth the journey to escape the poorly managed hole in the heart of Uxbridge. We watched the couple of lazy birds trying to look important not quite getting what makes the customer happy?? We found it in The Tickenham Inn big time, packed solid, yet managed the rush with a simple efficiency and a great smile! Matthew, your barman needs a pay rise. He is happy. On the ball ( we were there for hours) continuously and always smiling and putting the customer first!! Please don't move him to Uxbridge. Thank you Matthew. You rock fella . You walk into Weatherspoons and into a dream-land where inflation doesn't exist - two pints of Ruddles and a pack of peanuts for £3.67. Liss Truss take note, this is the UK dream.

Great local pub with a good selection of food and beer at great prices right on the high street. There are smaller and healthier versions of classic pub dishes as well which is great. You can order using the wetherspoon app and the food arrived really quickly. All in all great for an impromptu decision for a pub dinner or lunch

A great no-nonsense, welcoming pub in the centre of Ickenham 'village'. Reasonably priced, and good quality food.

Local pub feel, laid back environment. Different to city centre Spoons, smaller and cosier. The prices are of course the biggest draw to go. Food is above average for wetherspoons, curry club is recommended.

I have drunk in this pub since it had opened and no longer go there due extremely poor management. This place has gone downhill rapidly. Most of the bar staff are rude and impolite but not all. They constantly run out off beer and wine and when you complain they can be very rude and aggressive. No need for this! I have to say there is one or two nice staff tho. Toilets are signed off when not been inspected I’ve seen it on many occasions. Tables are dirty food not up to scratch. Have a look at the stair case carpet it is absolutely rotten in the corners. This used to be a good place to drink with good magement and staff. Please please head office sort this out.

One of the nicer JD pubs. Spacious. Usual decent, good value fayre. Still great value drinks too! Nice staff and people at this one.

How long will head office allow this once lovely place to continue go downhill? Drinks often run-out (poor management), décor needs major uplift (poor head office decision making), place is generally unclean (poor management), service is hit and miss - often more miss (poor management) and from what I've heard if you dare to raise any issues with management there is a tendency to bar them. Seriously needs better focus and management - Please Head Office please lend your hand to help sort this branch out. This was such a great pub once... now it is letting Ickenham down.

Wetherspoon's, so you get the familiar low prices, standard menu, and Spoons ambience. Established as the family friendly pub in Ickenham. Generally busy in evenings, quieter throughout the day. Local staff very pleasant. Good range of beers and other drinks at very low prices.

Had the most amazing breakfast Saturday morning with my son, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Really yummy. But how things have changed, first Sunday roasts eliminated, then the lamb shank, and finally the amazing prawn starters - just had a meal after a couple of years in lockdown and the food was horrendous. This is great if you are a drinker, and simply want to have good cheap drinks, but for food, burgers and pizza's and nothing that you would want to bother with. Just had a half chicken with lemon and herbs, served with peas and chips - horrid. My son had a steak, dry and no flavour. Shame - this place is no longer somewhere where we would look forward to meeting up.

Lived in ickenham for several years now but never really got round to going to the Tich. Took my daughter for a pub lunch and it was fantastic. Friendly staff, very quick food service. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. Deffo recommended

Having been shielding for 4 months went here for my first post lockdown pint of ale. Pavement table, sun shining, supping on a long missed pint. What's not to like about that? Update 1st April 2022. Real Ale festival on at present bought 2 pints & got change from a fiver - seriously - not an April Fool's joke!

It's a wetherspoons... The food is cooked, the floor is sticky and the drinks are cheap.

Although the website says it’s open till midnight, they have decided to not let paying customers in at 2300, therefore lying on a public domain to which clientele would trust!!very disappointing, I would probably avoid this establishment at all costs… seriously rude staff!!!!

Great atmosphere and good value for money

It was reasonably clean although confusing how to use track and trace. No staff assigned to assist on entry. Drinks delivered to tables quickly after ordering on app. Pretty flower boxes. Food was good.
