The Perfectionists' Cafe in Hillingdon

Awful. I had pizza and it was tepid, floppy and undercooked. Probably one of the worst pizzas I’ve had in 50 years. The staff look clueless.

Was charged 12.5% service tip WITHOUT being asked or notified… which I think is appalling.. the staff don’t get the tip .. it goes to management to pay wages

Absolute joke of a place . The management of this establishment should be arrested for having a sterling euro exchange rate of €1.459 £3.90 for a sausage !!!! Lesson learned about great British greed

The food and service were ok. But I only found later that I was charged a "table cover" of 1.50 GBP which was not mentioned on the menu.

What was very tasty food, was not particularly hot, the server was very friendly but clearly busy. However the biggest issue I have is not with the food but with the £1.50 cover charge which was snook into the bill. It is annoying that an "optional" 12.5% service charge was added but a cover charge which has no justification was also in the bill. And of course as the cover charge was in with the food items it was also included in the calculation for the service. I am not impressed with this underhand means of charging more and will not be eating here next time I travel through T2.

Ridiculously overpriced mediocre bland food. Burger was below average and there were about 15 fries. Charged £1.50 just to sit down and £3.75 "optional" service charge that they opted to add of their own accord so my Burger and Chips with mineral water cost £34!!! Latina girl who served me was friendly and efficient. She gets the star, the rest of it was an absolute joke. Pass through Heathrow regularly on business and this will be forever more getting swerved.

If only all airport terminals could have a café of this standard, travelling would be a far greater pleasure. This is a really excellent café with table service by superb waiters (who impressively remembered our orders without writing anything down!). A good choice of options – the food was delicious and arrived quickly. A perfect way to pass the waiting time in an airport terminal.

Had the most deliciously authentic Salade Nicoise ever at this cafe. Sad I can’t return sooner to repeat the experience. Polite and prompt service and attention.

They cant even make Tea While stopped off at terminal 2 , we decided to have some breakfast, exhausted after travelling 13 hrs dying for a cup of ‘real tea’ When tea arrived it was a pale yellow colour so my husband asked for an extra tea bag. Breakfast arrived, everything ok except the sausage which bb date was truely well gone past. I told my husband if be ate it possibly Doctor would be required to treat food poisoning. We didn’t make an issue. Anyway when he paid the bill he was charged an extra 1.25 for a Tea Bag, he complained at the till & was told it was ‘company policy’ was this Hestons idea!! He’s always promoting British food, serving out of date sausages & using cheap inferior t bags!!! Shame on you

Amazing restaurant, everything is just excellent from staff to food. Love their pizza the most, the best pizza I have had in the UK! You think you can't find nice pizza outside Italy? Come to The Perfectionist and order them pizzas! I have visited this restaurant for pizza for 5 times already, I'm definitely going to visit them very soon again for more pizza!

I was about to take my quick trip to Zurich and just pop in to this restaurant. At the entrance I have been greeted by Jose and he took me to the table. I have been served by Dharmik. I ordered pizza and was fresh and tasty. In over all I had great experience and people very polite and cool.

Really surprised how good the food was here for a airport cafe/restaurant. All the family were very happy with what they had. Certainly couldn’t fault the meal. Unfortunately just the price but seems to be much the same as the rest

Worst steak I’ve ever tasted - it was over cooked (even though I ordered medium), extremely hard to chew and didn’t have any garnishes. Two different waiters came to take my order twice, and then three waiters came to ask me to review how the dish was. When I said that it wasn’t up to par, they suggested that I had ordered the wrong sauce even though I commented on the quality of the steak rather than the sauce, and was never even asked was sauce I wanted.

Good: Friendly staff. Excellent food. The porridge was really tasty. Great view over T2. Not so good: Probably not the best place if you are in a hurry.

Best service everytime I’ve visited the perfection cafe in Terminal two heathrow, the food is always great, very fresh, and served promptly. I would love to recommend this restaurant to everyone but I’m afraid to do so as I don’t want to get so busy that I struggle to get a table on my next visit 😉

I always look forward to dining here when we are taking a flight out of Heathrow. We always allow some time to come here when we are flying out of Terminal Two. Everything we order here is very special. This week, I had the granola and yogurt with added blueberries and bananas. My wife had a croissant and jam. We both had Americano coffees. Mine was so good I did not add milk and sugar like I usually do. In fact, I ordered another one after I finished the first one. Don't miss this place if you are in Heathrow !

We wanted to come in for a quick drink before heading to our gate and were served by Tina… we only had Prosecco & Rosemary Almonds, both very tasty (a decent Prosecco), good atmosphere and Tina was fab, very friendly and chatty.

Great cooking for breakfast. Choice of bacon and the best scrambled eggs - should be the benchmark for everyone. Service good and very friendly. Price ok considering it’s at Heathrow Terminal 2.

I didn’t think that anywhere as soulless as T2 could be even more soulless!! Early on a Wednesday morning, no smiles from any staff, hardly any eye contact, and barely any engagement. Orders taken without comment, food delivered in silence, no checking back to make certain we were ok. As for the food, bland in the extreme, to the extent that writing this on a Friday, two days later, my husband is hard pressed to remember what he had. My BLT came with a rubbery egg too, not a welcome addition. The coffee was in drinkable, high roast and bitter. We headed immediately to Pret for a decent slug of caffeine. It’s a shame that Heston puts his name to this below standard airport offering. The ONLY saving grace, and I add this just to make the point, is that this is one of the very few outlets in T2 that doesn’t have loud thumping music, quite a blessing at 7 am.

Hand breakfast early on a Wednesday morning so not too busy. Service good and friendly. Our breakfast bun was a little disappointing, the streaky bacon was more fat than bacon (perhaps our bad luck) the sausage was a little bland, would rather have a Lincolnshire or Cumberland. The pot of tea for two only had one tea bag, so quite a weak cuppa. Overall better than some airport based breakfasts but not Heston standard

The service was extremely fast and friendly, and the food was extremely well made and delicious. The assistant manager Archie definitely deserves his position as he was extremely professional while also being very open. The food had really good portions as well

Absolutely shocking. Heston still puts his name to this? Wow, he really checked out didn't he. He should still have the capacity for shame. Firstly, staff wandering around quite aimlessly in a mostly empty 'restaurant' while you wait (im)patiently to be seated. I had the 'Perferctionists Chilli Con Carne'. What an utter disgrace! It was a bowl of rice which had a thin covering of the most awful 'chilli con carne' I've ever eaten. It is basically an over-cooked tomato sauce with barely discernible spicing. £17.90. Literally a couple of spoons of this crap over a bowl of rice. I had a side of fries (perfectly sound, factory produced) and a coke and the bill came to £30. Shut this place down now. I haven't reviewed anything on here for ages but felt compelled to try to save people from the absolute horror of coming here.

Had bacon sandwich for 8.90 and a cappuccino for 3.75. Both were good. The service was very efficient and quick. Would have liked a better selection, but left satisfied.

Loved everything about this Heston Cafe. Great set up, sat in central bar watching a great team at work, friendly attentive service, great background chill out music and an awesome Salt Beef Sandwich. This is now my permanent pit stop before the flight!
