We ate in the restaurant for lunch for a table of six. The booking was made and be replaced by the fire for warm and cosy environment. We ordered drinks and meals for all six of us. Four vegetarian roasts dinners and one cheeseburger and two parsnip soups to start with. The food took quite a long time to arrive and when it did we were slightly underwhelmed with its presentation for the cost. We all shared the same personal areas of improvement. The roast potatoes will dry and undercooked. The squash and beetroot Wellington was slightly sweet for our taste in a roast but very well presented and well seasoned, (would recommend.) The gravy was too thin and lacked flavour. The positive points were equally well recieved, They accommodated two children's roast dinners. The coffee was well made and a good selection of ales, The cheeseburger and chips was also very well. The entire menu also read really well and we would recommend visiting for but personally (from the 6 of us) perhaps not on a Sunday for the roast.

Staff friendly and welcoming. My Roast Beef was overcooked and tough whereas the roast potatoes were rather hard and barely roasted. A very good variety of veggies, apart from the broccoli, which was very dark green and awful. Sadly not very good. The Crumble was enjoyable.

Went for a birthday meal, service was fairly quick and waitress/bar staff were very friendly. However one of the mains which was a flat iron steak was meant to be medium rare and come out well done. The desert which was doughnuts were over cooked on the outside and raw on the inside. So would say the pricing needs reviewing or quality needs uping

Me and my son travel the UK on the train network and find these beautiful tucked away villages, and the pubs that drill in them. This pub was a good overall experience. It looked closed from the outside which is the only bad thing I'll say about it. Had a warm welcome, food is reasonably priced. Didn't wait too long for food. And the food was cooked perfectly. As a chef myself, I can spot lots of errors in food. But me and my son were happy. I had the chicken and ham pie, and the buttermilk nuggets, and my son had chicken tenders. All happy when we left. We will visit again. YTube Anglo-Saxon Travelling duo

The Three Tuns is the village pub in Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire. It is a lovely village beside the Kennet and Avon Canal. It has a railway station on the London line. The pub has very pleasant staff and is an attractive building with a garden with picnic tables and parasols. However, the pub offers a disappointing range of beers and the garden could provide a much better ambiance with a bit of TLC. Nevertheless, it is a pub I'll return to when in the area. Only had drinks so I can't speak for the food and last time I insisted the kitchen was closed.

Stopped at the Three Tuns enroute home from Shaftesbury, and it was one of only a few pubs that was serving food outside of the standard "oh we close our kitchens at 3 o'clock"...Bonus! Sat outside in the garden, soaking up the sun whilst devouring crispy buttermilk fried chicken, with the potent but addictive Green Sriracha mayo, scotch egg with scraps (which was cooked to absolute 👌🏼), followed by a couple of Dirty Burgers. Definitely worth a visit or three!

I don't often write reviews of places, but my wife took my Dad, me and the kids here for Fathers day and it was excellent. The roast meat was cooked to a very high standard, far above what you would expect in a country pub. Based on this meal, I'd say they have a very good chef in the kitchen because all our 3 courses were top quality. They were great with our kids, no worries there. Would have like a bigger bit of cheese for desert (sweet deserts, again, excellent), they could do with a deeper wine list, sell a few higher end bottles, because the cooking deserve it, (and fools like me will buy it!), but all in all 5 star.

My husband and I managed to secure a last minute table on Friday 7 May. We are visitors from London and this is our second time dining at the pub. We enjoyed another delightful meal: the food is very varied with twists on classics and full of seasonal ingredients (as foragers, we were impressed with all the different ways in which wild garlic was used e.g. aioli, soup, pea & wild garlic gnocchi); the staff are extremely friendly and hospitable; the ambience is relaxing sitting in the outdoor covered and heated marquee. My elderflower gin was particularly refreshing! Thanks so much to the staff of Three Tuns for a memorable meal.

I took my elderly aunt, who is unable to walk eadily to this pub on Sunday. We asked if we could have coffee and sandwiches, but they were only doing Sunday lunches. However the Manager offered to do some sandwiches from their roast beef. We this enjoyed brioche buns with a good amount of beautiful medium rare beef. The staff wrapped up the bun my aunt couldn't finish, and the whole team were very helpful to us. This was despite it being a busy Sunday lunch service, and as we had arrived with no reservation. As we went to leave, one of the staff Robin told us it was pouring outside. He offered to help my aunt get to the front of the pub, whilst I bought the car around. It was a great help and made the whole experience a real 5 star one. I was only visiting Marlborough, from Kent, but I'd definitely go back.

Unfortunately unable to review accomodation, food or service as we were double booked. Apparently landlords wife responsible for this so she was summoned. Landlord then completely ignored us and didnt even offer us a seat let alone an apology, this was left to his wife. She didnt seem well and was apparently in hospital at the time of our booking. She went away, 20 mins later produced £140 to cover the cost at premier inn who had ample availability and she had phoned them. Premier Inn denied any phone calls from Helen. They had one room which went whilst we were trying to book it. Plenty of certificates of awards, shame they are so old and tatty like the pub. I hate being lied to but rudeness, lies and facing a night in the car... Dont book here, disgraceful performance. Tired and niaive, should have insisted they booked it in front of us! Took the edge off Bath Christmas market tbh!

It’s the first time for years that I’ve been for a meal at The Agra. It was always good previously but I was blown away by the experience tonight. The staff were attentive but not intrusive and the decor had been updated and was elegant. The food was absolutely delicious. I had sweet chilli chicken with rice which was wonderful. I was in a group of 4 adults and a child and we all chose a different main course after sharing a selection of starters. Each dish was amazing and only my grandson could manage a dessert. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will look forward to going back.
