The Three Tunnes in Stockport

Staff really nice , I opted for the roast beef it was a new joint I had the first three slices of it so fatty I couldn't eat it rest of the food ie veg etc good I should of complained but didn't want to make a fuss .

This pub is a old fashioned gem it has still got its old-fashioned styled rooms and snug it has that quaint appeal to it, and it's a propper locals pub. There is a really good range of Robinsons hand pumped ales on offer today from Robinsons Keep up good work people involved with this pub

Incredible pub, with a great atmosphere, thanks to the phenomenonal landlord and landlady. The stunning home-cooked food is one of the areas best kept secrets too. A visit is highly recommended.

Excellent traditional pub. Friendly atmosphere and bar staff. Good food, jukebox and range of Robbies cask ales although a bit pricier than should be expected. Several tv screens to watch live sport.

It was quiet when we were there but can imagine it being great atmosphere when footy is on. Food was great.

This place never fails to please me, every time I visit I order a Bacon Buttie, it’s always brilliant, I’d be surprised to fine a better one.

Whent yesterday with my step son and his girlfriend also my husband we enjoyed it very much everything was very nice .

inside is very dark and not very welcoming. it smells musty. sat outside basically in a car park. there salt and pepper chips were lovely though i would definately have them again.

We were hangry after party shopping for our twins, and this pub was on the same street as the balloon shop. We had no expectations but were completely pleasantly surprised by our food here, so much so that I'm writing my first Google review. This was the nicest tapas we've had since we were last in Spain, for affordable prices too. Well worth a visit.

Great place to watch the football. I was visiting the area and Hamish recommended many good local attractions. We visited as a large group as part of a bell-ringing tour of the North West. The food was excellent. Could not recommend enough

Just to say thank you to all staff. Love this pub, just been in for our evening meal.... We booked in advance and requested steak which were amazing and cooked to perfection. The special boards and other meals on the menu are all cooked beautifully. Would highly recommend.

Great pub for a few beers and reasonably priced wholesome food.

The pub serves food lunchtimes during the week but we had not been able to try due to work. More recently, they have started serving on a Friday and Saturday evening and we are now regulars. All specials are home made and seasoned, yes seasoned. We are so fed up eating out at places with bland food. Nice people and staff too. Love it.

Great local still the best pub in the Grove

I recently celebrated my birthday with a party . The Three Tunnes were absolutely fantastic with their outside catering. They provided terrific tasty food . All cutlery bowls serviettes provided and even stayed to serve it . . . Hot pot .curry . Chilli. Rice and vegetarian chilli. All cooked to perfection hot and extremely tasty. I can highly recommend The Three Tunnes. We have also eaten in the pub...delicious . Try it .

Cracking pub, Finn is a fine host and the beer is good, whats not to like.

Very enjoyable meal and drinks with excellent COVID protocols. The chef kindly put a vegan meal together for us and came out to make sure all was ok. The staff did a brilliant job in providing table service. Felt very safe and comfortable. Highly recommended for both food and beer.

Absolutely amazing service and cleanliness and everyone was taking extra measures to decrease the spread of Covid including staff going out of there way to make the first date night since lockdown the best experience

Just had a lovely lunch here, the lamb's liver & onions is amazing and hot beef sandwich nice & tender, well kept beer too. Amazing home cooking at great prices in a traditional atmosphere, we'll be back!

I’ve eaten here several times and the food always exceeds expectations. This time I tried the rabbit from the specials board. Absolutely delicious, washed down with a fine pint of Unicorn bitter. My friend went for the chicken kebab, and reported it was splendid too, along with his pint of Dizzy Blonde. On previous visits we have both availed ourselves of the lamb shank with mash and gravy, but that’s quite a big portion for a lunchtime visit. With handy parking behind the pub, and being located on the A6, it’s an ideal spot for a lunchtime business meeting.

It's a typical Robinson's pub until you taste the food. As others have already said the menu is fairly extensive. The specials board offers some super short term selections. My Pea Risotto with haddock served with Irish soda bread was the best I've ever had. The kitchen is run by the landlord and his Portuguese chef, the bar staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

Brilliant pub, I would go as far to say it's one of, if not the best pub in Stockport. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and plenty of beer garden space. Always a great selection of beers, ales, wines and spirits and also dig friendly.

A friend suggested the place for lunch. I was expecting the usual pub grub. To my surprise as well as a few pub classics on the menu there were many Mediterranean dishes and a good choice of tapas. I had Tuna Nicoise from the specials board. The tuna was cooked perfectly. I’m so glad I tried this place. It’s my new favourite lunch spot.

Went in for a casual works night out and we all had a great time. The food is great - there are choice of the pub classics and also a fab tapas menu. We opted for Tapas and it didn't disappoint. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The menu is also available during the day would recommend and will definitely return

Now serving longer hours into early evening, wide variety of freshly cooked pub standards but available alongside sharing plates and tapas cooked by an authentic Spanish chef and daily specials. Prices are excellent and the pub is really nice inside

Absolutely fantastic pub and the food is georgous.

I use this pub when I visit my son in Hazel Grove. This is the most authentic pub in the area. It has a great atmosphere and full of genuine locals who make you feel welcome. The meals are excellent and good value. A selection of TV’s allows a choice of sports to view. There is a great little snug with a log fire in. Some people might think it is a bit “rough and ready” but it suits me down to the ground

We visited here one Thursday lunch time after trying several other outlets in the Stockport Area. This had a great range of choices, from a selection of Spanish Tapas, Traditional Pub food and great special board. I had a simple Hot Beef Sandwich from the specials with a plate of Chilli Chips. It rally hit the spot. The chips were hot, crispy outside, soft inside. The sandwich was stuffed with tasty and tender beef slices. Two of my fellow diners had the All Day Breakfast. It was I think a cut above the average. They said the black pudding was top notch. The bacon and eggs was perfectly cooked. One more had a curry, which he reported was hot and spicey. The last had the ham and chips which looked amazing. He said it tasted good too. We washed it down with a pint of Robinsons Dizzy Blond so I can't report on the wine. Well worth a visit.

Not been in this pub for years. Went to watch the football on a saturday. Food, beer and staff were great. No complaints.

Food is fab. Friendly folk, what more can you ask for.
