Current favourite stopover place in the uk. Everything was great. Try to travel down the east coast as an excuse to stay the night.

Fantastic food and lots of it, great selection too. Staff very chatty and friendly can't fault this pub in any way. I can't wait to return.

I was really impressed with the food here. The vegetarian stuffed mushrooms were absolutely delicious and the chips were great too. The menu is excellent and reasonable priced and the place has a lovely atmosphere. Service good too and I look forward to returning.

Lovely fresh food, good, friendly staff, good size portions, smaller portions and good value on the two-for menu, good choice of background music to.

Enjoyed excellent meals with cheerful and attentive service from the waitresses who appeared to be enjoying their jobs. On a Friday night there was a wide choice on the menu including a Tapas menu. Ours meals were delicious, well presented, generous in size and so good value.

Had a fantastic meal. Could not fault any of the 4 meals we ordered. Shout out to the easter egg cheesescake. Yummy. Service was spot on and we was well looked after, not left waiting for anything. Decor is lovely and the lamps made a lovely change to glaring lights. Quality of food was excellent and plenty of it. Freshly cooked and presented well. Definitely be back soon.

Went with large family on New Years Day. Great atmosphere, onsite parking, attentive staff, large menu with additional daily specials and they allowed changes to a dish to suit a picky eater. Would highly recommend and would dine here again.

Having dined here several times before, we went as a party of four. We were looking forward to having a chicken parmo, which three of us ordered and that we've had in the past. When it arrived, it was a chicken breast hidden under white sauce. We were expecting this to be a flattened piece of chicken in breadcrumbs, deep fried. When we contacted the establishment two days later, this recipe was confirmed. When I asked why we had just had the chicken breast in sauce, the person on the phone was unable to respond. Almost £60 spent on three tasteless chicken breasts hidden under a white sauce. We would have chosen an alternative if we had been informed that none were available.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. We came for Sunday lunch and when we walked in I was impressed with the decor and atmosphere. Every single member of staff was friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The great choice of food was extremely good value, skillfully cooked and delicious. I am normally used to having to wave my arms to attract the waiting staff's attention but they checked our table regularly with a genuine desire to please. I live in London and this is head and shoulders over a lot of pubs/restaurants I've visited closer to home - I wish I lived nearer so I could become a regular!

Been wanting to come here since it reopened, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Food was better and cheaper than other places in the village, and there was no room for pudding. Friendly staff and nice midday atmosphere

Been 3 times now , had Sunday lunch , and evening meals and we would highly recommend this restaurant . Whilst having my new kitchen fitted, I have been here for takeaway on a Sunday lunchtime a number of times. Mince and dumplings are phenomenal. HUGE cheese and leek dumpling with a huge portion of veg. VERY filling. Highly recommend this place. My mam has had the beef sunday lunch and enjoyed it as much as I did. I tried her beef which literally dropped off the fork.

Wednesday evening tea, well worth the drive, had the lamb chops which were delicious, well cooked and fresh. Husbands chilli chicken was also well received. No fuss but good, honest good well cooked and very reasonably priced!

Keep coming back as the smaller portion lunch is cracking value and not that small and you a pudding you can finish without exploding. Friendly efficient staff, fresh and tasty food and a French bulldog, what's not to like.

Called for lunch on a Saturday. The pub wasnt busy, and the service was friendly and attentive. Sadly the food wasnt as nice as before, although the presentation was good.. I had cod goujons & chips; the batter on the cod was thick and doughy, and the chips were poor.

The restaurant managed to accomodate us last minute on mothers day so that was gratefully welcomed. We were promptly shown to our table but had to wait a little while for someone to take the food and drinks order but guess this was down to how busy the place was. Happened we to be passing on Sunday and got the hungry feeling. Although we weren't booked in and time was getting on the staff went out their way to accommodate us. 2 X traditional dinners and I opted for mince and dumpling and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Me and the family came here for the first time today and we had a lovely Sunday lunch. Staff were very friendly the place has a great atmosphere and It was a nice surprise after we had finished our lunch and whilst we were waiting for our deserts we all got complimentary sorbets. I’m so glad we have found this little GEM and we will definitely return.

Had another lovely evening at The Three Horseshoes. Fantastic food by the burning fire, with the subtle tones of festive music in the background. We both got ‘Bursting with flavour’ which was a succulent chicken breast stuffed with chorizo, jalapeños and roasted peppers, it was so tasty! The kids got pizza and a cheeseburger followed by ice-cream and sprinkles. Staff really lovely as always! Highly recommend!

This has to be one of the most favourale reviews I've written - I couldn't fault it. The pub was very busy, with a wedding party, so the parking area was well nigh full; however we arrived without a reservation at about 1.30pm for lunch. The service was prompt and attentive, staff busy clearing cleaning and re-setting tables keeping the place nice.

Since this place was reinvented it just gets better, the food really is excellent and can't be faulted,the ale was very very good as was the service.

I've eaten here many times but this is my first review.The bar service is excellent and the beers are well kept.

My colleague and I popped in for lunch yesterday and were very impressed with the food quality. I had the hot beef and he had the BLT, both were excellent and we will be back. Plenty of parking also

We've been twice in the last two weeks. The first time I ordered the rump steak and the OH had the mixed grill. The steak was cooked very well, the chips the best I've had and the home made onion rings lovely. I swapped my half a beef tomato for his black pudding (I know he's weird), and I was stuffed and happy when I finished mine. The OH almost left chips which I would have swiped if he had! This week we went back with the in-laws and they all had gammon and they were very pleased to see fresh pineapple on the plate instead of tinned! I managed the belly pork and mash with sticky mustard sauce but didn't have room for the strawberry Sundays they ate (no idea how they fit that in after the generous slice of gammon), but they proclaimed themselves very pleased with the food and the service so we'll definitely visit again!

My wife and i had a meal on a midweek evening recently.I ordered drinks at the bar and took a table in the ph near to the conservatory which was closed for the evening.It was Tuesday which is "pie" night with a choice of about eight pie's freshly made which will take approx 30 mins to prepare and cook.(8.95)The pies looked amazing - very large - but we decided to order a homemade chicken curry and a hunters chicken with a side order of onion rings.The meals came approx 20 - 25 mins after ordering and they both looked and tasted wonderful - hot and tasty.The chips are homemade and fabulous as were the onion rings which again were great.All in all both meals were well worth the £8.95 price each.The service was very good without being intrusive.Highly recommended and we shall return for a pie ?

Went here with my cousin who was on a visit. Said it was one of the best pub meals he had ever had. If you get here early enough, there is a wide choice of seating. Friendly service and a good menu.

No problem getting a table for 4 in the conservatory. Had been told good things about the pies although not that it was evening menu only. Consolation in that a corned beef option was on the lunch menu. Portions large even when ordering from the 2 courses deal & plenty of choice. Further choices from an exclusive vegetarian menu & also a specials board. All washed down with a choice of IPA beers after retiring to the general bar. All in all good value for money & setting contributes to the ambience.

Arrived early, no problem had a drink in the beer garden, table was ready early, plenty of freshly cooked food including pigs in blankets ( not on menu ), always looked after by the staff, Thanks Mel and Darren

Visiting from overseas and staying nearby we went a couple of times on weekday evenings. Was quiet but nice ambience with leather sofas etc, good pale ales/IPA on tap and cocktails. Ate from the Mexican menu on Wednesday which was very good.

No han visitado las tres cabalgatas en un tiempo ya que no hace mucho fue un poco sin embargo cuesta abajo después de ver tantas críticas positivas, decidimos intentarlo. Reservamos en el día y nos dieron una mesa sin problema. Aunque el servicio era muy lento al principio y había varias personas diferentes nos espera en la comida compensaba. El primer plato era nada flash tuve los champiñones del menú del domingo, pero las cenas de asado era genial. Nos dieron un montón de carne y verduras no era demasiado alto. Todos sus platos! aclaro El postre también fue fantástico. Aunque más de una opción hubiera sido bueno. En general, sin duda volveremos!

Se sirve en un plato tradicional de este ninguno taza de estaño y tabla de madera con una cesta de patatas fritas. Si quieres comida decente sin tonterías en un agradable pub acogedor a un precio decente, este es el lugar para ir. No lo básico muy bien.

Llamado en un domingo sin reserva en la oportunidad de una mesa en el momento en que entramos por la puerta todo el mundo hablaba y nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos nos dieron una mesa enseguida silla alta, traído para nuestra pequeña niña. La comida era increíble, carne asada con todos los adornos extra grande los budines todo caliente, incluso nos dieron un bowl de bebé para nuestra hija, que era muy agradable. Terminado la comida con un sabroso toque de nuevo otro gratis sorbert en la casa. Todo el personal era agradable y no insoportables sin duda lo recomendaría y volvería.

Una vez más expectativas donde más que satisfechas. Una cálida bienvenida en un ambiente acogedor. Un menú equilibrado con una buena selección de ofertas especiales. Morcilla y salsa de uso inicial era magnífico. Los platos principales fueron más que satisfactorio. Curry verde de pollo tailandés estaba bien condimentadas y servidas con verduras ligera y sabrosa. Los precios de las comidas y vinos tanto son razonables. El servicio era amable y atento. Lo recomiendo sin duda.

Otra noche fabulosa aquí para celebrar un cumpleaños de 60. Tuvimos una cena privada en el conservatorio. Como de costumbre la comida era increíble, pero la mesa y la atención al detalle hizo que la noche fuera muy especial. No dejes pasar esta pequeña joya si estás buscando un lugar para una ocasión especial!

Just called to look at the menu. Good choice and a few specials available. Pleasant landlord who advised on specials including 'Tapas' dishes which change on a regular basis. Decided to stop and try the lunch specials £8.95 for two courses. Starters where freshly prepared and well presented. The homemade chestnut soup was excellent, tasty and hot. Main courses where again top notch. The fish pie was good and vegetables cooked to perfection. The chicken penne pasta with bacon and sundried tomatoes in a cream sauce was hot, well seasoned and again presented well. Staff where attentive and friendly. Restaurant area was clean and had a cosy atmosphere.

Just had a Sunday Lunch at the Three Horse Shoes, Although having no booking and the pub being very busy we were seated in less than 10 mins with drinks and food ordered. Kids made to feel welcome and the food served really quickly. Generous plates with veg on the side and extra yorkshire puddings and gravy, we were all stuffed.

Ridiculously priced. Poor choice of food on the menu. We went for Mexican night, I had enchiladas and the chicken was bland. Also ordered a glass of wine which was forgotten about and had finished meal by the time it came

The pub has a varied menu, good food. We had fast, polite service. I had the fish & chips - north atlantic cod, enormous and very delicious. Good choice for pub fare in the area.

Lovely helpful staff. Do not skimp on the portion size. So with starter then main course could not eat the pud (which is very unusual for me!!) As someone once said I'll be Back!!!

Fuimos por 2 platos especiales, cóctel de gambas, que tenía el Sr. optaron por las setas no es lo que esperábamos, pero cuando sabía, lo disfrutamos. Luego, vino la principal carne asada tradicional con enorme casero, puré cremoso, Yorkshires roasties parsnip, y financiarlo, Luego vinieron los guisantes, zanahorias, brócoli y una jarra de la salsa espesa, era absolutamente precioso. Pero espere, te ofrecern toda en nosotros no podía dejar sin postre, tarta de limón con merengue, y el Sr. tenía pudin, así que pagamos la factura otra sorpresa £32, con cambios. Had a family lunch today. Staff very friendly. Food lovely and enormous portions. Our group had cod and chips, hot beef baguettes and prawn panini. All delicious. We couldn't finish it all.

four of us attended for our lunch. the pub was very clean and well decorated. the gentleman who served us was very pleasant and polite. we all orded different things but all the food was top class. very nice presented, delivered to our table and all very nice. there was three of us that have to watch what we eat but this was not a problem to the staff. we went in the garden for our sweets, strawberry sundays, sorry i cant spell but we did enjoy them. we will be going back again and very soon. only one problem, they close at three but the staff have to have a break . well done to all the staff today who made our visit pleasant.

Una hamburguesa vegetal con alguna forma de proteínas (como las judías) sería ideal, y tal vez incluso una hecha en casa!
