Nice little pub but £7.20 for a Stella is absolutely ridiculous...

A beautiful bar with a local atmosphere. Unfortunately, we didn't have good beer or food, but we came back for the beer.

Great pub if you're a local... as you won't get charged over £7 a pint. Yes it's Rose St but chaperone shameful 'tourist tax' applied. Looking around at the clientele no one else is paying that. Shameful

Absolute great service, atmosphere was a little bland but service and staff down to earth and attentive. Definitely would recommend.

I visited it to have a beer and I liked the place, it was really very Scottish and well attended.

Regular clientele. Pleasant place, with 2 very large screens to broadcast sporting events. Young, friendly and dynamic servers. Nickel!

Nice, friendly pub with a great beer selection and extremely friendly staff giving it a nice atmosphere. If you're in the area it's well worth a visit.

Very nice, authentic pub, attentive & really friendly staff and "normal" prices (in relation to Edinburgh). A stroke of luck within the rather expensive tourist shops in the area. P.S. the nachos are sooo delicious and an Innis & Gunn with them, I was happy, my friend was too thanks to the great whiskey selection... We'll be back!😉

Great local bar in the city centre. Limited food but the Nachos are a great deal. Very pleasant staff. A few great malts. This place is great to watch sports on one of the many televisions. Usually a good few regulars who have been going for years. So it must be doing something right.

Nice pub with a fun atmosphere, great drink selection too - single malt selection is especially vast. Staff all very kind and chatty, Shreya in particular. Definitely recommend this pub.

Nice corner bar on Rose Street, quiet relaxed atmosphere to have a drink and get away from the more touristy areas. The whisky tasting flight was great choices and nice price. Also, a great hell beer! Outdoor seating area with awning to cover from the rain and quaint indoor area. Very friendly service.

A real local experience. Sports on TV, good pints and whiskey, but fantastic people! Loved my stop in and will be back soon.

Cant rate the food as I've never eaten anything here..great pub,brilliant staff..Lucy is great,alot of time for her. Thoroughly recommend if you fancy a good pint at a reasonable cost

Staff were very rude after being served a flat drink. Told at 10.18pm to drink up, bar was closing - on a Thursday night!!!. Spoke to two patrons that have been regular drinkers there for 6 years and never been treated in this terrible manor before. Will not be back!!!

Enjoyed a nice espresso here. The service was pleasant and it seems there are a lot of regulars who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.

I stopped by during an odd meal time. There are simple sandwiches and soup of the day. Although the food was just like being heated in a microwave, it was a good place to get a feel for the neighborhood atmosphere. It seems to be a place where you can enjoy alcoholic drinks during the day without worrying about the crowded city.

For an afternoon, this bar that becomes at night is very good. Nice atmosphere, with local people, very reasonable prices, the waitresses are very nice and help you choose the best beer and whiskey. Quiet zone. Totally recommended

This is the kind of place you would go if your looking to have a chill weekend watching football/ rugby as they show sports here great atmosphere good crowd of regulars doesn't attract a rowdy crowd would recommend a visit

Great atmosphere and service, Very friendly. Provides basic food, toasties, soup etc. Toilets unfortunately down narrow set of stairs. Well worth a visit.
