The ThaiWay in North Norfolk

We are on the broads and on our walk I found this little Gem - unfortunately they didn’t allow dogs inside ( which isn’t an issue as he had already had a great day out in the pubs ) my favourite food is Thai so after seeing the inside we decided to phone up later and get an delivery once we got back to our boat. Later on we phoned but we changed our mind and decided to collect our food as we felt it been silly to get them to bring it to us as it was a five minute walk from were we was parked up. It was very much worth the wait, it was my favourite meal of our week. So bloody good the food and we order quite a few dishes, so satisfying on our stomachs. I cannot review this place enough - I eat Thai food at-least twice a week and this was exactly how it should be. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Very good prices too. Extremely clean place with an open kitchen. Thank you

Food was really nice, nice atmosphere, the room inside is clean and well decorated. Lots of choice here for starters and mains. Pad Thai is very nice

The Hidden Gem in Town. If you are looking for an outstanding meal in Wroxham, you can't go far wrong by going to Thai Way. The ambiance, food and service are second to none. It is probably the best Thai meal we have ever eaten. Thank you.

Easy to book a table, restaurant spotlessly clean, the food was very tasty and fresh. Staff were polite, young waiter on his first day was doing very well!

Had a takeaway from the thaiway whilst staying on a boat nearby. Everything we had was fantastic! The pad Thai was one of the best I've had. We had the chicken wings, chicken satay and prawn crackers for starters, all were very tasty. The red stir fry was medium spice but it was very spicy, would maybe choose a mild dish next time. Was ready exactly on time for collection as well, would highly recommend!

Whenever we visit Norfolk, we ensure we have a meal at The ThaiWay. This year we were unable to eat in, so we opted for their takeaway service. It did not disappoint! Lovely food, and service.

Ordered vegetarian spring rolls and there was a single duck one mixed in with the veggie ones. Other food was nice though

absolutely the best thai i have ever had in my entire life. everything made to order and allergens clearly laid out. I could not believe that it wasn't packed after trying the food. I will absolutely be back as soon as possible!

Possibly the best Thai ever! My son is a Thai fanatic and we visited yesterday on a whim and he was not disappointed - it was so good. Can't wait to go back! Very fresh, choice of spiciness, lots to choose from. Can't say enough good things - well deserving of five stars

It's a lovely restaurant but closes at 9pm, which when you are from London feels weird

The Thaiway is absolutely spotless restaurant and Lillia who was front of house on Friday is brilliant at her job and the food was lovely. A lovely evening.

I bought a takeaway this evening from The ThaiWay after finding them excellent on the two previous times. Sadly the oyster sauce was like water and lacked any flavour. The ribs in honey sauce was also like water and sadly the duck spring rolls lacked duck. I hope it was just an off night in the kitchen but won’t be rushing back.

We ordered a takeaway from here whilst on a weekend away in the area - it was absolutely delicious, one of the best Thai meals I’ve had! The massaman curry was our fave. Online ordering was super convenient and the gentleman who delivered was really kind and friendly, despite having to deliver our order in a rainstorm!

I have a local Thai takeaway which is very good and the bar that family and I measure against. This ThaiWay is a restaurant and perhaps a takeaway not sure. Anyways, I thought the food was better, more tasty than my local. We were lucky and got in, no reservation before a large group of 12+ came in. Staff were friendly and for the most part attentive. Who we assumed was owner/boss not that engaging, but could see he was monitoring room and ensuring good service. So, owner took order, not sure if we'd get what ordered but did. Shared a platter for starters. Very nice! Can't recall name i had a garlic based duck stir fry. And jasmine rice delicious. Tried source on own, blew head off ! But with duck veg on rice was delicious. Mate had a pork noodle dish , also delicious. A few Asian larger, no pudding. Around £33 a head Very tasty.

We went as a couple on a Sunday evening. We booked by an online message and telephone to confirm. The restaurant is of modern design. Street parking is available nearby. The menu is typical of the Thai dishes popular in the UK. Service was very good, food delivery was prompt and the food was excellent with good portions. The wine was good value. The prices were very reasonable. We definitely recommend this restaurant.

We've been planning to visit the restaurant since they ran the hut at the Rose and Crown in our village. We opted for the set meal for 3 as it contained many of our favourites and mixed starters. The food was excellent quality, fresh and plenty without being too much. Service was efficient and the food piping hot. Having been th Thailand several times, a keen home cook and eaten with friends who have Thai wives I can highly recommend the food. Its not massively spicy for me but I did hear others asking for variants of heat so you can go hotter. We'll be back. Oh, and it's not cheap but it's not expensive either. I'd say decent vfm given the quality. Nice to see the kitchen too.

The best Thai I've ever had in the UK, and at a good price. Having been to Thailand, the quality is very similar to some of the best we've had there (fantastic), and the portions have a good amount of meat which is great. Would absolutely recommend, and will definitely come back. I can see why the other reviews are so positive!

Very tasty dishes and freshly made. The food is not filling you up and not fat. Friendly owners. Great service. Parking is a bit difficult in the neighbourhood.

Fabulous welcome and Excellent service. The food was really delicious and presentation was outstanding, what you’d expect to pay for a lovely Thai meal. I recommend you book ahead as it got full quickly. Thank you for a fabulous meal.

The only downside to the thaiway is trying to book a table. We visited last year and couldn't get a table ,& it was a 2 hour wait for a takeaway. To counteract that this year I thought I'd book well in advance. 9 phone calls over 10 days and all were cut off and a generic message of "we're too busy to take your call at the minute" was sent. In the end we called in at lunch time today and were able to book a table at 18.30. The service and food were of a very high standard. Nice surroundings and prompt service. All in a reasonable price. The end product was a very enjoyable experience.

Excellent meal on Sunday Evening, we will be back for sure very soon! A Cider option would be the only improvement i would suggest! Cheers

Fantasticly good food and prompt delivery. Only issue was that I requested my green curry "hot", when it arrived it was marked up as "medium", which was a shame, but was tasty nonetheless.

We live in Wroxham and have takeaways which are very nice, but you try and get a table!! We have tried several times and even booking in advance, they always say they are too busy. Their web site has a table booking tab, but they dont use it. The annoying thing is that we have walked down to see how busy they are and it is never full!! They obviously concentrate of takeaway service and are not interested in local service.

Just moved here and not disappointed food is absolutely gorgeous and order arrived within time slot absolutely fabulous we will be back for more thank you

Excellent takeaway last night for the two of us. The Masaman curry was delicious and the Pad Thai Noodle dish was exceptional.

We were staying near by had a takeaway for 6 very impressed with the service. On time and delicious. Next time in Wroxham will visit the restauant. Would definitely recommend.

We love this place. As locals, we first visited for takeaway when it was a van near the car wash. Now it's got a small restaurant in the town we have dined in and had regular deliveries. We have worked our way through the menu and have never been disappointed. Our favourite is the masaman curry but all dishes are cooked to order and divine. Service both on site and delivery is excellent. Highly recommended

My first time visiting ThaiWay, visited with my parents who are regulars - Warm and smiling welcome from the staff, shown straight to our table. Restaurant is bright and airy with an open kitchen where you can glimpse the food being prepared. We opted for a mixed starter with an additional plate of "Pot of Gold" (a delicious house recipe similar to crispy wontons but with a different filling), which I would highly recommend!! For mains, I ordered a Jungle Curry (again very tasty) and Weeping Tiger (steak served sizzling) also very tasty. Had some lemon sorbet for dessert, which was the perfect palate cleanser - Service was fast and friendly. I look forward to visiting again!

Tried to order 4 nights in a row. No answer no answer then told 2 hours to COLLECT!! And won't deliver. Very rude on the phone aswell. Been on holiday here for almost a week and still haven't been able to get this food. Ridiculous. Also been trying to call today for over and hour and absolutely no answer. Wouldn't even bother. Pathetic.

Visited with Family - had lots of tables empty and available but needed setting. Staff couldn't be bothered. Personally wouldn't bother trying. The other restaurants are much friendlier and accommodating.

What a gem. What a great addition to Hoveton. The staff are so friendly and attentive. The food is well presented and very authentic. They even ask how spicy you like it. As someone who has been to Thailand many times, the food here brings back many fond memories, the taste, the aromas. Definitely 10/10.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff are so friendly and accommodating. We are a family of veggies and vegans. They were able to adapt all their dishes to meet our needs, including the varying spice levels! All the food was delicious! A fantastic Thai restaurant in every single way!! The most wonderful staff - kind, patient and polite. Such tasty food with lots of options for vegetarians and vegans. Clean and excellently decorated. If you’re in any doubt, don’t be - this place is just incredible - highly recommend

Stopped here for dinner on the spur of the moment and they happily slotted us into a compressed timeslot as there was a reservation late that evening. The Chicken Masaman was beautifully spiced without being overbearing. The Papaya Salad was fresh and summery with a flavoursome Asian style dressing. Would happily go back. But next time we'll make reservations!

It would be a good idea to book a table if you want to eat here. The food was beautiful. Had a mixed starter to share, then Jasmine rice with Pad King. The sauce was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it! A must for an authentic Thai meal.

This is the best Thai food I've ever tasted! (and I've tasted lots!) It was amazing. So many layers of flavour, and so fresh, I will definitely be returning regularly. Absolutely gorgeous!

Excellent freshly cooked Thai Food at a reasonable price.

Meal was tasty enough but sauce was more like gravy than a sauce. A little disappointing as we had tried to get in here before and often fully booked. Probably try here again in the future and choose different dishes incase we had poor choices this time.

Impulse visit but omg such great value and will def return. Worth finding if you are in Wroxham, find Maccies and the fishing tackle shop and look for the green seats of Thai Way.

Delicious Takeaway from the ThaiWay. The homemade spring rolls were tasty and perfectly crispy. The dishes are authentic. Food is cooked fresh and you can choose how spicy you want your dish which is a nice touch. Upon collecting I noticed the restaurant looked very clean which is a good sign. Good value considering the quality, it's best to order in advance bearing in mind the food is cooked fresh and it gets busy.
