The Terrace Bar in Elmbridge

I recently celebrated my 40th birthday at The Look Out at The Oakwood in Esher, and I could not have asked for a more perfect experience! From the very beginning, the planning was seamless, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A huge thank you to Angus and his fantastic team, their professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail made the evening truly special. And a special mention to Sue, whose meticulous planning ensured that everything ran effortlessly. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely looked after, and nothing was too much trouble. The venue itself is stunning, offering a fantastic atmosphere that felt both intimate and stylish. The food was exceptional, the drinks flowed beautifully, and the service was impeccable. Every guest commented on how wonderful the evening was, and it was all thanks to the incredible team at The Look Out. I would highly recommend the Full Hog Roast, succulent, generous and delicious. A big treat for our guests! If you are looking for a venue that combines elegance, outstanding service, and a personal touch, this is the place. I will treasure the memories of my birthday celebration here for years to come, thank you to everyone who made it so special!

Esher’s hidden gem. So fab to have this place on my doorstep! Fab food, coffee and service in a great setting.

I love the gym it’s so convenient but the club is a great place to hang out with friends and the food is delicious. The staff are also all great with our toddler.

The perfect spot to refuel after a workout or to just pop up for a coffee or wine! The restaurant offers delicious, nutritious meals with plenty of healthy options and amazing Pizzas. The atmosphere is just as welcoming as the gym—great service, clean space, and good vibes all around. Whether you’re grabbing a smoothie or a full meal, it never disappoints! 💪✨ ... also has an epic view at Sunset!

We absolutely love it here! The food is incredible and the refurb is stunning! 10/10 would recommend, will definitely be coming back more often!

This was our first visit but won't be our last! The food was delicious and we are very picky! It lived upto expectations but not so easy to find... and on the expensive side!!

We tried the newly refurbished restaurant at Sandown and what a treat! Food was fresh and delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be back! (The view is pretty great too!). The transformation from the old restaurant here is amazing - they've done a wonderful job!

Great place and location to unwind after a game of squash or skiing. Professional, friendly and welcoming staff. Worth a visit if only for just a drink and take in the views. 10/10.

The bar terrace is great. We just tried the new menu which is delicious and excellent value. Lovely to look out over the racecourse - a real holiday vibe! Very excited to see the indoor restaurant area when it's finished. Great work Lookout Team!

Fantastic new venue for parties. My 7 year old had her whole year there. Catering staff and venue outstanding. All brand new and very clean!!! Fab thanks guys we will be back

Hosted a birthday party here for my 9 year old daughter and it was fantastic! Food and room decorations were great. Team was really easy to interact with ahead of and on the day.

We had a 90th birthday party at The Terrace last weekend. Fernando and his team were simply brilliant! Professional, super efficient and very calming. They couldn’t do enough to help and Fernando is superb at trouble shooting. The bar staff were smiley, attentive and extremely welcoming. The venue was also beautifully decorated for Christmas. They can recommend DJs ( the house DJ, Simon, is fabulous) Amd anything else you may require. The venue is incredibly atmospheric and conducive to a fun and memorable party. All our guests had a great time and one of them is already thinking of booking for their own party. I can highly recommend The Terrace for a private party and I can assure you if you book you certainly won’t be disappointed. Thank you Fernando and the team for a fabulous party!

Excellent place, the pizzas are delicious. A place to enjoy with the family, an artificial ski slope and high altitude hiking, a sensational view.

What a great place for food and drink after our Ringo party! Staff were helpful, pizza was delicious and what a great vibe! Only point to make is more signage from the road needed!

We had our daughter's 9th birthday party here after a Ringos session on the ski slope. The staff were very helpful andthe pizza was lovely. Even better the parents were able to crash out and enjoy a sneaky drink on the sofas.

Nice place to have a dinner, private party or birthday, free parking dog friendly . Surround by nature. Amazing view’s, kids can play on the sky or do sky walking. manager and staff really nice. I definitely recommend 5 stars

We went here for a birthday party after Ringo session at Sandown Ski. The pizzas were great, the service was super quick and everything we needed (more squash, more napkins, ice etc) came straight away. He couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you.

Had a great kids party - sledging and donating which the kids loved so much! Then then pizza on the terrace. Staff were so helpful and friendly - we could bring our own snacks to have with the delicious pizza!! Highly recommended!

Cool place, bit of a beach bar vibe. £5.80 a pint (IPA). Pretty good pizza. Large airy outside terrace, on top of a hill, behind Sandown Racecourse stands, with a partial amazing view (part blocked by trees). And a good view of a dry sky slope. Access off More Lane (signed Golf Centre). Then veer right straight away, up a 1 track road. Keep going to the top for a parking area. Open in the afternoon despite what their website says. Recommended!

Great place to come any day of the week for a cold pint, pizza and a cocktail. Would highly Recommend to anyone looking for a cosy and warm atmosphere for a good laugh. The bartenders are very engaged and efficient. They pour fantastic pints and make amazing cocktails. I will definitely visit the bar on a regular basis after such a great first impression.

Contacted them about a private hire. When I said we would want a non-alcohol bar they refused to accommodate - an interesting specification in this day and age. Really unhelpful, refused to give available dates, costs etc. Clearly only go to this venue if you are a raging alcoholic!

Not a good experience. I ordered a cup of tea, which was made too strong and returned it as I could not drink it, and after asking for another one, Zack one of the bar staff (who claimed to be manager), told me that I had to pay for both (even though I could and did not drink the first one). He then came in to the table and even after I explained to him, he still argued back with me over £1.40. Absolutely ridiculous! There is need for some customer service basic skills. And yes, I paid for the second tea, as it wasn’t about the money, but the principle!!!!

Went to a 40th birthday party. Cosy venue which had been well decorated per instructions. The drinks were served quickly and the bar staff were super friendly and attentive. They went to the guests regularly to top up drinks. Lovely to receive such excellent service. Highly recommend.

The coffee was as fantastic as the view! I had the good fortune of heading up to The Terrace Bar for a friends birthday and had a fantastic time. We sat on the terrace and watched a wonderful sunset whilst sipping on a cold beer. After a long night of fun I managed to leave my jacket and had to return the next morning where I though I would grab a coffee to go. It was great! I would reccommend this venue to anyone!
