I recently dined at Persian Kitchen Restaurant and it was an unforgettable experience ! The authentic Persian flavors , from the perfectly seasoned kebabs to the fragrant saffron rice , were absolutely delightful , The atmosphere was warm and inviting , and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive , If you're looking for a true taste of Iran , this place is a must-visit , Highly recommended :)

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! FOOD POISONING BAD FOOD QUALITY!!! Me and my family ate lunch here yesterday got Koobideh (lamb kebab and rice) and some starter and we all have FOOD POISONING NEXT DAY today! avoid this place at all cost please do not go here.

We visited here for the first time. Ordered a selection of starters and main courses. The food was lovely. Delicious and fresh. A selection of soft drinks can be ordered and they allow you to bring your own if you want to drink alcohol. The reviews that state they don’t provide cutlery or fresh bread are obviously false. The starters we ordered (houmous, Kashke Bademjan) came with lovely fresh warm flatbreads. We had special kebabs & Ghormeh Sabzi (Lamb/bean aromatic stew) and these were delicious, & delicately flavoured. We would definitely eat here again. Worked out just under £30 per head.

We popped in for lunch as I've passed by so many times and have wanted to try it. The menu seemed to have changed recently and the prices have increased significantly. The service was quite slow, despite no other customers in the restaurant. We had to wait quite a while for the food but it was worth the wait. The food was served on large plates and was tasty. Persian is played in the restaurant but was quite loud initially. The decor inside was very traditional and unique. I would recommend for traditional and tasty persian cuisine. Ordered ghormesh sabzi which is a traditional Iranian dish. Very flavorful. Shishlik which is lamb chops with salad and rice - tasty and large portion Baghali Polo - lamb shank with salad and rice. Good portion and tasty. Special kebab - two skewers which salad and rice.

I used to love eating at the Persian Kitchen, but since they got new management, the food just hasn't been the same. Tonight I visited the Persian kitchen and was extremely disappointed by the food. I ordered the lamb koobideh which is minced meat and as I was eating it I noticed that the inside was red raw. I will not be returning here again.

What a wonderful hidden gem … my cousins and I came across the restaurant quite inadvertently … what a pleasant surprise … the food is exceptionally tasty … beautifully presented … service was impeccable … we had the Baghali Polo with slow oven-roasted lamb shank in aromatic saffron and cinnamon, tomato sauce, served with dill saffron rice and broad beans … for dessert we had Zoolbia Bamieh with coffee … I highly recommend this establishment.

I am honestly amazed about all the good review. This is the first time and probably last time to order. The food needs a lot of improvement, and the only thing was nice and not expected is the was a nice place to sit while the name of the place is Persian Kitchen ! I loved the atmosphere but the food was the mood killer. I have ordered 1x Special Kebab (Jooje+Koobide with basmati rice) £19.95 + 1 x Special Persian Pizza + 1 £19.95x Doogh 1L General review for non-Iranian folks: Kebab: was ok, quality of rice is fine and portion of the food is alright. Please note there is no salad, onion and lime (only Sumac is with the food that is cost £20) Pizza: Average pizza, the taste killed by adding too much oregano and it was 12 inch for £19.95. Honestly you cannot find any place that cost £19.95 for 12 inch and the taste is not special at all and Basilo pizza right at the other side of street do the same for £9.99 and collection offer for £5.99 Doogh: I think either the person in charge was not there or they did not have chief at all because I cannot believe how can some one could mess with Doogh, too salty and fizzy. if your drink are fizzy you should write it in your menu. The Persian side of the review: The quality of the kebab was not acceptable compare to price, the portion of the food was less that it is suppose to be. Rice was dry and honestly It won't cost that much to add salad, onion and lime. This is the cultural food and most places I visit these items are included. Persian Pizza: I am not sure if anyone at the kitchen have any idea about Persian Pizza. Hint: it have several layer of jambon and way less oregano. Caspian's price for 18 inch Special pizza is £24.95 while you are making 12 inch for £19.99 and the quality of the pizza way better that yours. Also, the dough is the most fundamental of the food was too dry and burnt rather than being crispy Doogh: This was not Doogh, ask any random grandma (she should be persian !) she will teach you :) It was Sunday around 1 p.m. restaurant had no customer. when I came, no one offer a seat while I was waiting, and when order was ready they forgot my drink and when I asked they were not aware of it at first. I have nothing against the restaurant but the food (definitely) and customer service (slightly) needs improvement. By the way inside was nice so I gave 5 start for atmosphere.

The food is heavenly delicious, fresh and healthy quality. The staff are very welcoming and polite. The menu is diverse. They're also quick in delivery. The website for ordering is very easy to access through. Some good offers. I wish they could provide a brighter and happier place to dine in.

A quick meal very tasty, although it used to be much cheaper here I will say. The people who run it are very friendly. I had previously had the lamb and okra stew and it was amazing. The kebabs are good here and so are the slow cooked things. Personally I would steer away from the starters and go straight for the main course. Is often very quiet but don't let that put you off. The lamb kebab is very juicy and tender it is my favourite. The buttery saffron rice complements it beautifully. Really impressive for a small local business to consistently serve meat of this quality.

This is the best restaurant in Walton on Thames. Excellent tasting food, quality service and they’ve just had a refresh of their decor inside and it’s lovely. If you’re worried about trying persian food for the first time, don’t be. You will not be disappointed. This is so authentic, big portion sizes so you get a lot for your money. Try the Zeresk polo with chicken and the ghormez sabzi if you want to leave a happy person! We will 100% be coming back and have recommended this restaurant to so many people

Great find near the center of Walton. You can bring your own alcohol which really makes this place great value. Strongly recommend the fish stew

We had a birthday dinner for four and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent and the portions were extremely generous. Highly recommended.

It would be very easy to pass by this unprepossessing little restaurant as it has lots of competition in the area. I have been here several times with friends and it never fails to delight. There is a wide variety of persian dishes, some interesting starters followed by traditional kebabs of lamb fillet, minced lamb or chicken. All are served with a salad and a choice of rice, naan or chips, or a bit of both if you prefer. There is also an impressive range of pizzas and burgers. The decor is traditional Persion with a soundtrack to match to add ambience to the dining experience. The restaurant does not have an alcohol licence but are very happy to supply glasses so you can bring your own wine or beer with no corkage charge! There is a range of soft drinks available. As mentioned, the succulence of the meat is second to none and we keep coming back time and time again. Would definielty recommend if you are looking for something a little off piste. Free parking is available nearby after 7pm.

Prices are way too high for what you get. Very poor customer service. Not everything was on the menu. Food very average. Never go back. Richmond has Persian restaurant at exactly the same prices but with much better decor, food and service.

Fab fab fab! First time in Walton on Thames and this was opposite our hotel. Fab service and great food so ate there two nights running. No alcohol licence but do try the kefir and don’t miss the saffron ice cream.

Ordered here several time food is really tasty but let us down almost every time with slow delivery. Really need to work on it

Our family chose the Kobideh kebab and the kebab was great, but I think it would be better to put a little butter on the plate when serving and I recommend you to try the Kobideh 👏👍🙏🏻

Perfect Persian food in a beautifully decorated restaurant. You can see and feel their focus on authenticity and the care for offering their guests a perfect experience, an immersion into the Persian food and tea culture. We had a lovely time, the place was not busy and we enjoyed spending a couple of hours in an amazing well-balanced decor and music. Highly recommended and will come back again. Thank you. 💙

We were there on New Year's Eve. Our waitress did not wear a mask at all. We were charged 15% service charge with no explanation on the bill. A disappointing experience and slow service.

A modest family restaurant in Walton on Thames serving authentic Persian dishes alongside familiar UK dishes. Beautiful subtle flavours. It doesn't have an alcohol licence so it's Bring Your Own wine which keeps the cost down. Highly recommended.

Amazing food quality, the mixed grill for 4 was the best . I would like to specially compliment the Humus they make...it was the best i had in quite a while... Their grilled chicken is the tenderer and juice than most others in the town ( highly recommended )

Persian Kitchen is not going to win prizes for it's laminated menu's with garish photographs of the various dishes on offer, to be honest you'd think they were trying to put you off coming in! But you just need to get over that! Because their food is wholesome and tastes delicious. I can honestly say that I've never tasted rice that is so light and fluffy. The Mirza Ghasemi; smoked aubergine and tomato was delicious. We had squid rings and whitebait for starters that I'm sure were from a catering suppliers dropped into the deep frier. But the Bakhtiari Kebab of chicken, lamb and tomato was most definitely home made, charcoal grilled, charred on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside... Mmmm! Choose carefully from the menu and select their homemade, in-house dishes and you're in for a treat. Out waitress was very friendly and very helpful. I'd highly recommend and hope to visit again soon.

I went there with my husband and four friends for my wedding anniversary. The food was great and exactly as good as you get in high quality restaurants in Tehran. The staff were very receptive and friendly. I do highly recommend it to those who want to try tasty authentic Iranian meals.

Horribly rude new owner/manager, chilly empty ambience, gone rapidly downhill since stellar start when Kiran still ran it. Menu is authentic Persian food but downright unpleasantness is unforgivable. I'll avoid like the plague now. No wonder it's almost always empty.

Lovely food and at great prices

Having eaten at many Persian restaurants around London, I thought Persian Kitchen was fairly average, taste isn't authentic and watered down for the mainstream pallet. Another shock for us is when we ordered a slightly custom order, we were charged for 2 separate dishes rather then the difference as it was quite close to one of the meals on the menu.

I just love how amazing the food is and the staff are very very nice.

Sadly disappointed Meat, rice & salad seemed nice and fresh but the naan and time keeping were very poor. We were given a delivery time of 1 hour - we waited over 1 hour 30 minutes.... It all looked good smelt good but tasted bland and disappointing. 1 starter, 4 mains and a salad for £62.15 I think is expensive especially when very late and the naan is very dry and tough. Nothing special.

Called in with a friend to try somewhere new. The food was excellent, everything tasted fresh and full of flavour. The staff feels quite family, but in a very good caring way. I would have no reservation in recommending this restaurant.

I have to say this restaurant food is yummy! Of course I am Iranian so I completely undertstand the dishes as I can understand for someone who’s not experienced Iranian food before they might be confused on what to order! However as an Iranian I also know what good Iranian food taste like and this restaurant definitely delivers it. If you aren’t Iranian just go there and order the meat and rice or chicken and rice you would love it.

Food is amazing, kebab koubideh and hummus was delicious! It's great to have traditional middle eastern food here in Walton that's actually made well! Waitress even served some complimentary tea and freshly made baklava! 100% would recommend

We really tried to like this place but alas it wasn't to be. Firstly they don't sell alcohol so that's good to know in advance. The waitress was lovely but couldn't speak English so when I asked for a dish to be explained, the description of "it's green" didn't truly help. When my meal did arrive there were lots of ready salted walkers crips in the meal, it was just.weird. My wife went safe and has lasagna. I asked how it was to which her reply "this is the worst lasagna I've ever had" summed it up perfectly. Plastic pasta and rubber cheese .... Yuck. Finally the naan bread can only be described as a giant Jacobs cracker. It cracked and crumbled in my hand. As I say, we tried to like it, the decor was.nice and waitress lovely but alas the food was.just. a let down
