The Teddington Arms in Richmond upon Thames

We chose to have lunch here one Sunday for convenience. While the place is family-friendly, unfortunately, three out of four of us who ate the chicken ended up with upset stomachs for the rest of the day. The only person who didn’t eat the chicken was completely fine. When we raised the issue with the staff, they denied any responsibility obviously. We will never trust the food here again. Be cautious!

My Teddington local for 15+ years but to make me feel awkward for stating the facts ie the roast was rank has just p1ssed me off. Always hit and miss but today was just so bad had say something but was treated like a mug in front on my mates. Had a few mouth fulls of a roast and it was rubbish, like the whole thing was boiled. Everyone has a bad day but its how you treat people that counts. Plenty of pubs in Teddington so will go there now if serving sloop and getting negative feedback means your questioned then…. Ever going back. But my domino’s was quality thanks as was surviving !

Nice customers with Dogs. Some very pleasant customers who are happy to greet new faces. Downside,Chavvy Barman and cloudy Beer. Suits a certain generation. Not good for a business meeting.

Overall my experience with this pub is great, I've eaten here multiple times. Food on average is good, but I've had the occasional cold meal but I still ate it. The staff are great and have always accommodated my family whenever we've popped in. I will recommend Hereford either a drink or dine

Something really wrong with the beer on taps, tried two different pints and both were so bad I couldn't drink them. Atmosphere was a bit boys boys boys for my liking but if that's your thing then it's not so bad. Has TV for sports dotted around which is decent although the contrast and vividness needs turning down a bit. Beer was definitely the worst thing, also no Guinness on a Saturday afternoon was a bit sad.

Met family for an informal beer..busy pub on main street..clean and friendly..doors opened across fascia to allow plenty of fresh air..close to bus route..toilets well maintained 👍👏

Smashing food, great drinks, music a little too loud.

Has a nice "local" vibe about it with some familiar faces and friendly service from the staff. Great for watching sport too.

Was full of people watching Chelsea v Man City, but they put the QPR game on a small screen at the back just for us. For that they deserve 5 stars.

Food was vile, the burger tasted like rotten cardboard and the steak was more like a burnt slice of beef

Love this place. Came here at least 5 days a week. Very friendly staff. Great food. When theirs sport or no sports on no trouble and very friendly customers new or regulars. Would recommend coming here for what ever reasons.

The Pub has a great atmosphere . But sadly the Award Winning Steak and Ale pie was terrible. Looked good from the outside but the meat content was nearly non existant.

This is a wonderful sports pub! They have a great selection of beers and the team are always smiley and welcoming. we ate here the other day and the steak and ale pie was really good!!

Came across this little gem with the GF on a Sunday walk. Football was on, fantastic atmosphere. Lady behind the bar (I think her name was Shannon) was very accommodating. We had the steak n ale pie and vegan burger. So delicious. Can wait to visit again.

Went in for lunch during the day and there was a lovely atmosphere. The team were very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend!

I have been here many times now and always enjoyed it. The best sports pub in town by a long way. Their food always hits and their Guinness is next to none!! Shannon and Jay are always great and make us feel so welcome!

Absolutely awful tasteless food all frozen by the look of it steak and ale pies were horrid and the macoroni cheese looked like it came out of a tin.so disappointed.

Went in by myself for Christmas Lunch, the bar staff were lovely and the turkey dinner was delicious, would definitely recommend!

Just had a great lunch at the Teddington Arms. Great food and service for 6 of us including 2 kids. Will definitely be back.

We waited well over an hour for an extremely mediocre, dry Sunday roast. We asked where it was after 45 minutes only to be told they were serving a 'big' table first and we should wait (was definitely not a big table). 3:20pm we ordered, 5pm we received it! Literally insane... Gathered it was about a quid or two cheaper than most of the rest in the area but goodness it was terrible and chewy. Really disappointed.

Great pub, nice staff. Beer was fine. Didn’t try the food but it’s big and is a great place to watch sport. They’re pretty relaxed about letting teenagers watch sport during the day but they’re on it when it comes time for them to go. A huge step forward from their historic reputation of which little if anything remains

Had a quiz going which has a decent crowd. And with a very nice prize up for grabs! The thing that made this place for me tonight. And, I made sude to take names... Was the staff. Mikey, is a great chap with tons of banter and personality, from what I witnessed, he has the ability to build rapport with all types of patron. And Jay! Wow. She was here there and everywhere, clearly running the staff and house. While also having and maintaining a friendly and courteous rapport with everyone, staff and customer alike. Will without doubt be returning!

Daylight robbery £7.65 for a pint of beer and £3.55 for half a draught coke - won't be going back. Paid by credit card so didn't realise the cost

Went for drinks with friends, stayed for food too. Great food, cold beer and wine. What more do you need. The staff are great too!!

Went as was looking forward to having our Sunday lunch here. Kitchen wasn't open this was about 1.30pm very disappointed.

Myself and family came in for some dinner and beers. We were served excellently by Juliana, who was really nice and had great recommendations. Drinks were great and food was amazing, would definitely recommend coming here.

Cannot rate the food because, we didn’t order any. Meanwhile, nice Pub, fair prices and great for watching the rugby too. Nice place, nice people and, nice staff to boot.

Just popped in for drink on a Saturday night , nice atmosphere ,live music and dogs allowed.will pop in again when in the area.

Terrible terrible food! There were two of us, both ordered different meals . Inedible. Really sorry but I don’t have anything good to say. Very disappointing

What a pleasure for Suffolk residents to find a home from home pub in Teddington! We only had a couple of drinks (which are expensive compared to Suffolk!) but this is a lovely pub and the beer is perfectly kept, I enjoyed a couple of pints of Level Head. We will be back if we are ever in the area.

The food was amazing the best we've had in years and the service from dion was brilliant. Can't recommend enough

Bad food. Nachos are a packet of Doritos with a few dollops of ketchup on. Nice enough service, terrible music.

This is a beautiful pub with a great selection of beers and a terrific menu. It’s friendly, comfortable and offers an extremely generous Sunday lunch.

Takes ‘paint the town RED’ to another level!

45 min wait for food. I wouldn't say it was busy. After I asked where our food was it arrived seconds later. I can only assume it had been sat waiting for us as it was very dry. I would have complained and sent it back if I hadn't have been so hungry.

Had a leaving drinks at here with my work lot and we had a great night! The team are always happy and the atmosphere as always was amazing on a Friday night. Thank you!

Great place to go if you want to watch sport as there are big screens in every corner of the pub!

Proper enjoyable pub, very good service and tasty food.

Booked a table for evening meal as closed to our hotel. The bar staff were very friendly and looked after our party of 6, including two young teens. Food was lovely. We left about 8:30pm just as the pub was starting to get busy with the Friday night drinkers. Great atmosphere and would’ve loved to have stayed for a few more drinks if we didn’t have the kids with us.

Booked a table for two for lunch at 1 pm. Arrived and ordered drinks from the bar. Out of three ales on tap two were out of stock. Ordered lunch at 1:15 pm Pub opened at 11 am but we were told that they were out of beef for Sunday lunch! Changed the order and waited for 45 minutes, still no food. Complained to restaurant manager and food arrived instantly. After further complaint, the manager agreed to offer us two glasses of wine in compensation. At least they responded, but we won’t be returning in a hurry.

Comfortable pub. Had Family evening drinks and meals. Great service. Food good. Drinks bit pricey ... but that's same everywhere now 😕

I visited the Teddington Arms last week for the pub quiz. I had a lovely time, the atmosphere was fantastic and it was quite busy for the quiz too! I would definitely come back

Went the the Teddington Arms for drinks on Saturday evening and they had live music on. The atmosphere was absolutely brilliant and £20 for a bottle of prosecco went down a treat!!!

We booked a table 3 times in a row for wing wednesday and 3 times they sold out at 7pm, disappointing as we pre booked and informed the staff. I will not be coming again thanks

3 times we have booked a table for wings Wednesday at 7pm and 3 times we have travelled to find they have sold out by 7. Quite disappointing these meals are booked in advanced and is a shame they are ruined when we turn up.

went to the Teddington hands for a mothers day carvery today with the family it was lovely lots of choice of vegetables to go with either the roast beef roast pork or roast turkey with Yorkshire puddings roast potatoes stuffing was not disappointed everything was...

Came in on business on a Sunday so only one thing for it… Grab myself a Roast! Well… they have a new Chef and it shows. I had a Beef roast and every bit about it was amazing. It was by far the best roast...

I feel as if the pub has lost its atmosphere, my lunch was served in a bowl which I was slightly confused over. The food has always been lovely but for an afternoon lunch something was just missing. I also thanked the new manager on the way out while you were standing behind the bar and didn't recieve a response.
