This was an enjoyable stop about half-way through our ramble between Rickmansworth and Chorleywood. Friendly staff, good mix of open-air and under-cover (tarpaulin) seating and great menu. Wish the timing had been right for a hot lunch, but the lovely gooey pain au chocolat was almost a meal in itself. Not local but would gladly revisit if in the area.

Fantastic cafe at Woodoaks Farm. Family run cafe with great home made food. The cakes are all delicious and cater for a variety of tastes. Menu for hot food changes seasonally and has very tasty burgers and hot dogs plus toasties of various types. Very friendly service from Eve and her team, who produce top class coffee to order. For this year a large open marquee has been erected to deal with our changeable weather. Great to be on a nature friendly farm and enjoy tasty refreshments.

A fantastic place with delicious food (especially the burger!) and amazing coffee! It's great for kids to play and to visit after the v kid friendly walk. My 6 year old loves it so much she asked to have her birthday party they and they did a brilliant job. They were friendly and accommodating and made the biggest, most chocolatey cake I've ever seen!

Had a delicious soup and lovely coffee after a 5 mile walk today. The two young staff were fantastic and dealt very well with a sudden influx of customers. The cakes looked gorgeous but I was trying to be good! Perhaps next time...

We came to the Easter Trail on Woodoaks farm & found The Tea Shack, this place is an absolute GEM! The staff are so friendly and helpful- they couldn’t do enough to make sure my very fussy order was done correctly. The food was delicious & really fresh, it was so nice to find something like this is our local area. We will definitely be back!

👍 Beautiful setting 👍 Nice Easter Trail & footpath 👍 lots of picnic tables & space for kids to play 👍 Pleasant staff 👍 Plenty of Parking 👎 Really expensive, poor quality food, served on paper plates creating unnecessary landfill waste 👎 No Pizza - doesn't seem like they're doing this anymore?! A great spot. Disappointing, super expensive food.

Hidden gem.. plenty of places to sit..even when busy.. as you can also use the beer garden next door even if you order from the tea skack as they hive you a buzzer when food is ready. Lots of home made cakes on display -if you have any allergies you just have to ask.. the staff are very helpful.. highly recommend sorry no pictures ate the cake too quick!!

Setting beautiful. Lots of seating areas, some with shade and chairs. No cake menu displayed or details of ingredients as per regulations. No labels or prices on the cake dome display. I asked if any were vegan, none for my visit, all vegetarian. Served on card holders with wood forks (to be sustainable?) although no suggestion that it is recycled. Food orders require patience and a device is allocated to notify collection. My group appeared to enjoy the food chosen, some shared cakes. Will return in hope of vegan friendly next time

Love visiting cafes on local farms, but the menu was very limited (not the same as the viewed on-line menu), the tea was in paper cups and very weak, the food came up in paper bags and it cost £15 for 1 toastie, 1 bacon bap and 2 teas! Location is great, but would definitely not recommend it.

My sole visit was Christmas Day. Three of us arrived shortly after 12 o'clock. Many of the tables had (understandably) been pre-booked. The staff directed us to a table that was not booked until later. The two ladies working were both charming and welcoming. Each of my three pints were great and poured (as per my request) with minimal froth. If I lived locally, I would definitely be a regular. My apologies to the two lovely ladies working on Christmas Day. I promised to leave a positive review. I didn't quite plan to leave it this long.

This is a favourite local or ours and even though they were super busy today, the service is always 5* and nothing is too much for them. Service with a smile - always. This place also does the best coffees. Thank you again

Welcomed us in before the usual opening time with the landlady spending time with us talking about the pub trade. Great local pub

Taken here, sounded good but that’s apparently a personal “thing”! Several of the dishes selected came up looking more like baby food, a thickened soup! The “prawns” in my main dish were awful they looked like they had been split lengthways and not degutted/deveined !! The staff were however very courteous and attentive, that doesn’t (in my book) make up for the food!!
