Peony Garden in Three Rivers

Been using these guys for a while now. Every time we are very happy, never dry or I've cooked. Great service on the phone. Don't just put the phone down on me like others have once I ordered. Very good value for money. Portions are a good size. Just love um. Best Chinese around by far.

Thai green curry is delicious. Black bean curd very good! Rice is great. Broccoli in garlic yummy. Great Chinese...no msg, taste fresh and flavourful.

First time trying this based on recommendations from others. Didn’t disappoint at all. The Singapore noodles and also chow mein is on point and super tasty. Chicken dishes nice and they were able to customise dishes too. Also the Thai dishes are good. Appreciated the prawn crackers and drink thrown in for the large order. Will come back for sure.

A perfect local takeaway! Used it a couple of times and enjoyed it, will make my way through the menu. Roast pork chow mein is a winner. No sitting in so can't comment on atmosphere but the service is great

Ordered the sesame prawn toast, 158 bbq beansprouts and a 34. Gave me food poisoning, had to wait ages on the phone before actually ordering

Wow wee... So happy I ordered from here, I've been though most of the Chinese in Watford and this is up there in the top 5⭐ The man who takes your order (possibly owner) is such a lovely man. Food is great EVERYTIME 😁

Just received our delivery, we ordered chilli shredded chicken, chicken chow mean, mixed vegetables, crispy squid(which was burnt) and roast duck in plum sauce.. EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS HIDEOUS the worst Chinese food we've ever had! The food was dreadful, tasteless, overcooked, poor quality poultry. The duck didn't taste remotely like any duck we've had before, the chicken was mushy with no taste, the squid was burnt and poorly presented...honestly avoid this place at all cost, a frozen take away Chinese meal from ASDA will taste better and is much cheaper. VERY DISAPPOINTED, NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered over 2 hours ago and still no food. Called after an hour and told would be 30 minutes. Really disappointing.

Just ordered from Peony Garden for the first time. After mixed reviews we thought it was worth a go. We had roast pork, sweet & sour chicken HK style and Thai green king prawn with the usual sides and all was really nice. The server was really polite and we will go again soon.

Although this is a takeout only, the atmosphere generated by the front of house is so welcoming and friendly and you feel their enthusiasm has been put into good cooking. I've eaten there many times and it's always top notch - well done everyone.

Best chinese food in Abbotts! Big portions, authentic taste and excellent service. Would highly recommend

After being recommended we tried and unfortunately it was inedible the chicken was pink and slimy which ruined the whole meal. :(

Tried this place for the 1st time recently and it is definitely my favourite Chinese in the area! The roast pork and duck box meal is amazing! 🍛😋👌😁

Best Chinese food in Abbots Langley.

Great food, and super friendly owners. The food isn't overly greasy but full of flavour. If you ask nicely they'll sometimes let you customise a dish too. They take card on orders over £10.

What on earth did they do with chicken (if that's really what it was) to make it so unappetising? Even the strand of hair that came with it didn't taste as bad as the chicken.

I haven't used this place for a while as we thought it had gone downhill. Tried it tonight to see how it now is and were delighted. Hot, very tasty, big portions and couldn't taste too much MSG. Our meal cost £21...the exact same next door in Pin Wei would have been £30! Will definitely use again

This has been taken over by new owners, avoid at all costs! The good was disgusting- mushy rice that was over cooked or cooked more than one. Frozen prawns that they actually showed me in a lump of ice when I complained that were ion the turn. They even argue with me that prawns are supposed to smell eggy!!! I hope I'm not poorly in the next few hours....

This is my go to Chinese takeaway really good food

They have the best sweet and sour chicken you will ever taste. Instead of the cheap balls you normally get in a takeaway they cook a whole chicken breast and slice it up into portions
