One of the worst chicken wings I've ever received and eaten. They fried chicken skin in batter and put it in the box. Absolutely disgusting

We have ordered from Pepe several times in the past but today the quality and the taste of food was disappointing. Fried chicken had a weird taste and smell. Even the rice were not well cooked.

Ordered as usual but this is the second time they have forgotten and item and then had to wait an additional time for the remainder of the meals we had purchased.

I used to be a regular customer at this branch. Ordered wings platter and asked it to be saucy .unfortunately it wss dry and we couldn't consume . The very next day ordered a family platter and complained about the previous day order but the staffs were really rude and didn't even apologise. Every time I order for more than 40 pounds and they knew it still there wasn't a courtesy and they charged me 70p for more sauce with complete rudeness on their face. I don't mind paying 70p but I expected that 70p to be waived off for a mistake they did previous night order or atleast an apology but the staffs didn't do both. I am really sorry for the owner as he is running a big franchise with staffs who doesn't understand customer service. Now they lost a regular customer like me and a bunch of friends of mine

Food was cold on arrival again

delivery driver gave us wrong order, then correct order arrived but missing some items, called resturant and they were incredible sent out what was missing within 20mins. only thing I'd say is all the food was missing the salad bits even the resent missing item. quesidella was literally just the chicken and half a plain dry wrap no salad and same with pitta..consistently never comes with salad from this particular store. I'd use Northwood branch in future as again good CS but comes as described

Food cold and items not sent out. Phoned up and was told to go collect missing item. They delivered it 40 minutes later. We had finished our meal by then. Driver was lovely though. After £50 and cold food I won't be in a hurry to buy from there again. Usually really good. But I didn't pay for cold food. And an apology would have been nice.

Couldn't review as food arrived at 8.10 when it should have been 7.30... I tried to call to cancel 3 times to cancel as I was going out but they didn't answer. The restaurant is 1 mile away from me too so don't even know what the food is like as I refused to accept it with such poor service for chicken and chips as nearly 2 hour wait is just too long. Don't accept the order if you can't deliver it in time

The food was not nice at all and cold

I just brought items for 37£ and ask for 5 chilli source and they give me one sweet chilli free and charged for 2.00£ for another 4 chilli sauce. This is completely rip off people. Food so expensive and top of that pay 50 p each souce really unbelievable.

The food was very greasy. Cheese bites were cold. Peri peri mayo was water. The restaurant is 10 minutes from me and they take an hour to deliver it. So I can only assume the food was cooked at 11.30 and left in the heat bed for an hour before being delivered.

The restaurant's driver is most excellent. And even though I had no mobile reception today, they asked a colleague (outside) for me by name and lo! My food arrived at my desk. As always, tasty. Thumbs up from me and my colleagues.

2 out of the 3 meals was really disappointing. We got fish burger and it was fairly burnt. And the other meal was 5 wings meal. But instead of 5 wings we received 1 chicken piece with 4 wings? The chicken piece was good. But the wings were an absolute disaster we couldn't even bite into them to the point are teeth actually hurt to chew. They tasted like the were old and fried twice over. Was very inedible. And what's more disappointing is that we often order from them and its this quality.

I love millend pepes but disappointed I had pink chicken

There was barely any salad in the pitta, no tomato, just a few bits of lettuce. Friend wings were fry and tasted old

Delivered in good time as was staying at a hotel in the middle of nowhere and was happy to hear they where here 30mins before delivery time. Only thing I would say is the cost of meals was extremely high which was a surprise

When app stated driver was on way it was still a long time before he arrived, though it was within the specified time app stated. Means we must have been last on the drop off route. Food was warm but chips were definitely not the usual standard. They had turned rubbery. Shame that the pepes rice box has been reduced in size but not price.

We waited an over an hour for the food and when we received it it was burnt and rock hard. They had refried the chicken! It was dry and inedible, so disappointed as other Pepes Piri piri restaurants are always good

Undercooked chicken and rice. Rude and arrogant workers. I complained to the manager who told me if you dont like the food go somewhere else I visited two times, the first time i gave them the benefit of the doubt. Shame for pepes as their other stores have been spot on.

I order from here a fair bit I have had such bad service for so long but have never left a bad review till now. I’m sick of ordering and getting my order when they want to deliver it not the actual time it’s meant to be there. When I call asking where it is they either don’t answer the phone or lie about where it is. My order is currently 40 mins late it’s a joke !! I always order extra sauce which I pay for and usually don’t get it. Food quality varies. Why don’t head office do something about this other reviews say the same!! This really is now my last order with them.

Ordered an hour and 10 minutes ago for delivery. Driver didn’t pick up my order on his first round, they had to recook it apparently. When i called 30 minutes ago the guy said the driver had ‘just left’. Call back 30 minutes later and the guy on the phone said ‘he’s just left’ again - When confronted about the fact he’d lied about the delivery driver leaving he come up with even more excuses and didn’t even deny lying. Blatantly lying to your customers is how you lose business. Luckily I ordered through ubereats so i’ll get a refund. *^%# you

Food was tasty and arrived early and hot. 1 star docked for the chicken and rice meal as the spice level selected was mild… it was volcanic and hard to eat (but to be fair was still tasty)…

Awful awful awful. Waited ages, had to phone them, they sent their own driver out in the end! When received, cold and missing 2 items from both meals! Awful experience. Phoned them, they said they can’t do anything about it as too busy. Complete joke!!

The chicken was hard like it was left out for long and distasteful had a awful smell, then the delivery driver tried to open the door with the handle

Would give zero if I could, I was really hungry and thought I’d get a quick breast burger when I parked up to eat it I realized from the first bite it was hard but carried on eating as I was literally short of time and really hungry. Later on I got really ill with a temperature, vomiting and diarrhea. Pepes standards have really gone down. Never again

Text me to offer a discount that they didn't honour. We're rude "you lot can't work the app" I was the only white person in the store. Work that out. Offered to let him show me. Declined. Manager offered to give me extra food not wanted.cancelled order. Whilst now waiting for a Chinese came to my car offered to show me how to use the app. I agreed he could not get it to apply the discount code either now offered me 20% discount. Why didn't he just offer the originol 15% at the time.

Awful service. Missing items on my order and I call up to be huffed and puffed down the phone as if it were my fault. Said they would send out the items and they didn't turn up for another hour. By this point all food was cold. Awful service!
