Whilst in the area we visited this cafe for tea and cake. Lovely friendly staff, excellent service and wonderful cake. So good was our experience here the next day we came back for breakfast. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating of someone who went off menu slightly. Next time we are in the area we will definitely be back

A wonderful place to stop off for something to eat or drink. The room inside is beautifully decorated and very clean. There is plenty of seating inside and out. It's disabled access friendly, which I needed (well done), as I have a rollator. The staff are very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Good quality hot chocolate and latte, excellent panini's. Plus there were beautiful cakes on display ready for anyone who needs a sugar rush. I had to stop myself ordering a slice. I would highly recommend a visit. 5 star.

We sat outside on Sat 27th of July, the views of the Abbey and river from the garden at this tea room are stunning. The breakfast sandwich was the best I've had!, nothing greasy or messy, just perfect! The coffee was spot on and my wife's hot chocolate was too.. By far the best little tea room in the area, its spotlessly clean with everything you could ever need for a nice relaxing start to your walk, do check it out.

At £16.06 for 2 drinks and 2 slices of cake, one of which was extremely small, we left feeling that we had been ripped off and resenting the 'optional' service charge which was clearly not optional as there was no opportunity to decline it. We are not sure how the total charged was arrived at as the actual cost of what was ordered was £14.30. Would not recommend.
