We really appreciated the welcome , preparation, care and attententiveness shown to our family and guests by Jackson and his staff for my family wake. Jackson was kind, sensitive and thoughtful from the planning right through to the hosting on the day which was reflected by his team too. Many people commented on the welcome , tasty food , and thoughtful service. A special thank you for helping with the music too. We would highly recommend Jackson and the Tapestry to others .

We held a wake here for 140 pax yesterday. The whole experience from start to finish, handled by Jackson, was one of total professionalism but also such warmth and sensitivity. His team were courteous and attentive and excellent with handling any request from our guests. The beautiful room was filled with love and laughter and was a perfect way to celebrate the wonderful life of a cherished loved one. Thank you so much Jackson - and all your team.

I hosted my birthday party here and couldn’t recommend it more. Jackson and his team are lovely hosts and truly go above and beyond to make each visit the perfect experience- from fresh flowers in the cocktails to their friendly and relaxed service. Very delicious food and cocktails. Beautiful venue both inside and in their fun garden.

We held a buffet lunch here after my mums funeral. This spot is great for a gathering of people. We had 35 people but the space would fit many more comfortably. There is a semi-outside space with lots of chairs and tables. It was warm, despite it being autumn because it is well covered over head and at the sides. The service was prompt, efficient and unobtrusive. We had a £15 a head per person set menu and had plates of sandwiches, as well as an array of sausage and cheese rolls, chicken and beef on sticks, paella, chips, wine, fruit juice, tea , coffees and so much more. We walked there from the chapel at Mortlake which is about 10mins along a beautiful scenic route along the river. There is parking on side roads for those who need. Highly recommended, I would definitely go there again.

I hosted a wake for my father at The Tapestry Bar and cannot recommend it enough. Jackson is an absolute treasure and was welcoming and helpful from the very start. Our food choices were flexible and extremely well received and drinks flowed seamlessly. It was a cheerful, upbeat location to celebrate the life of a loved one and I was delighted I chose to host there. Five stars all round.

We had a catering service from the Tapestry Tapas Bar at my work and it was absolutely delightful. The food was great, with vegan options included. The service was right on time and hot for dinner. We had paella, vegetarian paella, salads, Spanish tortilla, croquetas, etc. I recommend their service.

Booked this due to its proximity to the crematorium alas but it gave us all time for a lovely 5 minute flat walk between the service and party (as we were aiming more for celebrations than memorials). Just as well as not much parking! Everyone commented on how tasty the food was and discreetly served by Jackson’s team who were attentive so everyone had drinks and food as well as being aware that we were there for such a sad occasion. Tbh I’d go back in a shot for the tapas and location. I tried the burgers before booking for 20 and they were also delicious Only gripe was that we didn’t get much in confirmation of our booking until I had emailed and phoned a couple of times - wouldn’t worry usually but given my mother had just died I didn’t really need the additional stress of not knowing for sure if they were confirming the booking

Our family held a wake for my Sister and Brother-in-law with about 40 people attending.  From the first interaction all the subsequent communications were excellent and guided us through the process. On the day the staff were so welcoming and accommodating.  The food was excellent and served in an unobtrusive professional manner.  It was such a great decision to hold the wake at this superb establishment. Would highly recommend The Tapestry!

The Tapestry Tapas bar is an extraordinary PUB and my family love that place. We do live at East London, however, we do not think twice to drive all the way to eat the marvalours Tapestry food made by the gorgeous Chef Neen and Jackson. My family held my father's wake here at the end of February. There were between 50 and 60 family and friends. The staff were beyond excellent - serving delicious plates of food to our main standing guests, in a most unobtrusive manner. I went to The Tapestry Tapas Bar for a rather solemn occasion but from start to finish, the staff at Tapestry were amazing. Booking and planning were all easy, with wonderful advice from Tapestry representatives to make the event run as smoothly as possible. So I had booked a table for 8pm, and traveled an hour and a half to enjoy some tasty beverages and some delicious food with my friends. We were told there would be a comfy table for 4, ready for us on arrival.HOWEVER. On arrival there was a que outside with people who had been waiting 45 minutes to be seated!!! We inquired about our table and the manager said there were no tables free and he couldn’t help. He then rushed off.We waited patiently for 20 minutes in the hopes that we would be seated soon. No luck... I then asked the manager what was going on, he was very dismissive and we felt very dejected. In normal circumstances I would have understood. But due to tables being fully booked up everywhere and the fact that I had traveled so far, not to mention the dismissive nature of the manager. I would absolutely whole heartedly not recommend.If the manager has been more considerate of our situation and had communicated with us rather than disappearing I would not have such strong feeling of distance towards the The Tapestry. We ended up having to sit in the cold and sleep on a bench.Absolutely ruined my Christmas.Jokes aside this really happened. Come to the pig and whistle instead, the staff are way more accommodating.

On a quaint evening during a pandemic, my friends and I felt the urge to have some drinks, food and joy in the sun. Sadly this was not how our evening went.When we arrived at the 'pub?' My friends and I were disappointed first by the confusion of whether people standing outside were queueing or similarly disgruntled customers waiting to even have a chance to rest their legs. We joined them and shortly found out that not only were they waiting to be allowed inside, they had been waiting for hours just to sit down. When we were eventually seen to after having to walk into the pub (during a pandemic we did not thing this was a wise way to serve customers as the entrance was crowded with others waiting for a table already booked) the proprietor was dosmissive and cold, claiming that he was 'doing all he could' while still making drinks and making no real world effort to actually help us, I can only assume he lived in a fantasty world where helping people meant doing nothing.In the end my friends and I were so elated that we thought it best to call all local pubs in the area and found a table at the far superior pig and whistle where the barkeep spoke to us in a polite and warm manner and allowed us a table like the Innkeep for Mary when she gave birth to the baby Jesus.

Compartimos dos especiales entre nosotros, una paella y una cazuela de frijoles cocidos a fuego lento, ambos eran excelentes y a un precio muy razonable (14 ea). Muy recomendable si estás buscando un lugar para comer en la zona. Personal ocupado y competente en la cocina y frente de la casa. Basado en el hecho de que se disculparon al menos tres veces por un retraso que no notamos. Sospechamos que la clientela no está acostumbrada a desacelerar la comida, pero definitivamente vale la pena lo que sea que haya esperado. Me han dicho que las tapas son igual de buenas.

Un gran grupo de nosotros asistimos después de un servicio en Mortlake Crematorium esta mañana, literalmente, mientras abrían. No habíamos pedido por adelantado, pero rápidamente sugirieron una comida para compartir tapas y muy rápidamente su encantador equipo nos trajo un torrente de deliciosas tapas que parecían interminables, como la paella vegetariana y los postres. Cantidades muy generosas por un precio preestablecido por cabeza y solo contaron aquellos que deseaban comer.

We had my wife Birthday meal @ The Tepestry Tapas Bar, it is my local restaurant/pub which we somehow missed completely for years. After seeing some very good opinions I decided four of us will celebrate my wife birthday and this was good move. Food was delicious, all tapas freshly made and very generous portions, good wine list and the lady serving us top class. She realised the occasion and was mostly accommodating and always very smile made the evening complete success. The only thing I would not advice is to go for Sangria (we switched to other wines straight away) but except that GREAT place to eat with nice unpretentious décor, and superb ambience down to earth staff. I was here with a bunch of friends for Prosecco and tapas. The Tapestry is cosy and welcoming with fun decor. We were well served by the friendly bar staff. I ordered jamon croquetas and deep fried manchego. Both were super tasty and a good size portion, I’ll definitely visit again with the family.

Los tres llegamos a tiempo, habiendo reservado una mesa para 3 con antelación. El camarero no escuchó nuestro nombre (aún estaba tranquilo y vacío) y nos acomodó en una mesa para 12 y luego nos dejó solos durante 10 minutos con un menú. Cuando regresó, se sorprendió de que quisiéramos ordenar porque asumió (¿por qué?) Que formábamos parte del grupo de 12. Él nos movió a una mesa para 4, y tomó nuestra orden. El restaurante estaba muy frío, y terminamos poniéndonos los abrigos de nuevo. Pude ver que otras 6 personas (para entonces estaban más llenas) también usaban sus abrigos. Nuestra comida llegó, estaba perfectamente comestible aunque tibia y servida en platos fríos, pero cuando queríamos pedir postres y cafés, el camarero no escuchó el pedido de café y trajo los equivocados, y nunca trajo el postre. a pesar de repetidas peticiones. Finalmente dejamos de pedirlo y nos fuimos a casa.

We celebrated my birthday at the Tapestry last month and had a fabulous time. Staff helpfull and very friendly, food amazing (lots of guests commented on this) and overall fabulous atmosphere. Only good memmories. Huge thank you for all involved who made it happen.

We had a reception after my father's funeral last week. It was perfect for us and our friends. The food was excellent and we could not have wished for a more understanding and sympathetic welcome. The owners and the staff could not have made the occasion more special.

It's unusual colorful open-minded restaurant. Service was so lovely, we arrived with a person with a wheelchair, the place broad space made it easier to move. We definitely shall return.

I arranged a wake via email and phone with Jackson for a wake. Clearly I had alot to do but Jackson did all he could to make things simple. On the day the service, manner of the staff was exemplary. The food was also standout, delicious with hand served tapas.

On the day itself they made everyone feel very welcome and the service was wonderful ... really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The Tapas was superb and a great way to share food. We felt totally at home and this was largely due to the kindness and professionalism of everyone. Highly recommend The Tapestry for any event...really impressive. Thanks again Jackson! and team!

I had the most amazing and beautiful experience at this place, they saved my wedding party! The place I choose to fo my party just canceled two days before the date and I was crazy when I found this place! Now I say thanks the other place canceled because the tapestry did everything so perfect and amazing!

I lead a group of older walkers on walks in the Richmond area and last week we decided to have lunch at the Tapestry Tapas Bar. It was a delight.

Yo y mi novio hemos estado yendo al menos cada mes ya que mover muy cerca de este pub y cada vez que charla con los miembros del personal excelente comida muy agradable y nos sentimos muy bien acogidos.
