One of my local pubs. Great beer and rooms. Stayed there many times.

Rooms bit on the small side when your trying to get ready. To get into the bathroom was a squeeze as door kept hitting one of the beds, so had to be careful in the night not to hit bed and wake my friend lol. Curtains are too light , definitely need darker ones as the sun shone through early doors. Good for the money though, easy check in. Nice and clean, beds are comfy too. Did the job for the night . Would I rebook, yes. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and would recommend.

Good local pub with friendly staff. Has rooms mainly in separate buildings which are quite nice. Serves breakfast only at the weekend.

Was here for breakfast after seeing it advertised on Facebook and fancied going somewhere different. Was a great decision as the breakfast was spot on! Decent prices and good service. Will come back for sure!

A good value, clean and comfortable room. The room size wasn't really big but more then enough space for a night's stay. No issues with my stay though other than a little noise coming from the pub downstairs (not excessive though) Parking is limited but I squeezed into a corner space. Breakfast is only available on the weekends. There is a shop and a takeaway across the road.

The staff were lovely and helpful. They went out of their way to help us and also made sure we had a parking space upon arrival and during our stay. We would definitely recommend this inn to everyone. And the rooms were very clean.

Very disappointed. We paid £160 for a double room, sadly the very well presented room was on the main road making it very noisy and because the room had just been decorated the paint fumes were over powering and gave us both headaches. We couldn't keep the window open because the noise was so loud from the road below and with the window closed it was still loud. We got barley any sleep. I just feel it was a lot of money for a very noisy stay.

Narrow stair way to the room got in the room was small it had 2 single beds to get in the bath room was very Narrow the door opened part of the way before it hit the bed with that in mind they had a towel rack on the back of the door which i kept hitting going in and out of the bathroom. The mattress was very soft. It was a house next to the pub.

We had a fantastic couple of nights stay here. Jackie and Mandy went above and beyond as well as the rest of the team - thank you! Room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. Style of the hotel also beautiful along with the grounds. The food in the Eyas restaurant was a very special treat and delicious! The East Wing Lounge food was also fab. Breakfast was also a nice experience, new lovers of chai tea!! Castle Ashby gardens is also a short walk and free admission for guests - absolutely stunning and worth a visit. Would highly recommend the Falcon to anyone looking for a mini break and escape. We will be back again in future! Mollie and Josh x

Pub re-opened this weekend under the new Landlord Jake. Open, friendly village pub that draws a local crowd. The focus is on quality beer served well. Pretty little front bar with a real fire going. Local breweries like Hook Norton and Phipps' were on tap. All the best to them.

Always a lovely setting, have come here now and again for years. Didn't enjoy the vegetarian roast, it came with a pie that was mostly filled with spinach. Following the meal, I filled in the questionnaire for the restaurant and they emailed me to say that the pie is not made on site and that my comments would be passed on. On reflection, I will not go here again which is a shame as so much of what they do is lovely. For example, my mum enjoyed her roast beef. I was surprised that the food I had was not made on site, especially considering the price and also my previous experiences of the restaurant.
