Fabulous lunch with my mum. We both chose the Pork Belly with Rosti Potatoe, Braised Savoy Cabbage & Crispy Sage. Absolutely lovely as you can see from the empty plate at the end nothing on it ππππππ½οΈππ Worth the drive there. π΄Tiramasu (Mum) & Orange Polenta Cake (Me) for afters

Weβve always been greeted with the friendliest warmest welcome by Rhian and the team at Tge Swan. A gorgeous pub with nice local beers from Nethergate brewery and the most delicious food which is delivered with exceptional service. If I could give 6 stars I would.

β β β β β I had the pleasure of attending The Swan Pub's reopening night in Little Waldingfield, and what a fabulous evening it was! Ashley (owner), Rhian (manager), and the entire team were incredibly welcoming and made sure we all had a brilliant time. The pub features a central bar area, a separate lounge for the restaurant, and a spacious patio and garden with plenty of seatss and tables. They offer a great selection of beers, including supporting two local breweries, and all the usual spirits youβd expect. The food menu has an Italian theme, which was delicious, and fairly priced. Parking is also available. I would happily recommend The Swan to anyone looking for a great pub experience!

Just celebrated my mum's 85th birthday with friends and family, courtesy of Rhian and colleagues at The Swan. Everything was fantastic from start to finish. It's fantastic to see the pub open again and I wish them well for the future!

I must start by stating my reviews always reflect how I feel regarding expectation vs reality. I'd heard good things so had a reasonable expectation that the food would be good. My wife and I started with some nibbles and starters to share. King prawn each, squid, caprese salad, olives and arancini. All were delightful, especially the king prawns. For main I had a prawn linguine ( waiter recommended) and my wife had the ragu. I must confess that the cream sauce worries me a little, it often tastes of little else but cream. However, this sauce had good depth. You could taste lemon, tarragon and a hint of chilli, which were all very pleasing on the palate. The prawns were brilliantly cooked and plentiful. Really good dish. My wife's ragu was similar in quality. Rich meat sauce and well made /cooked pasta. We had the small plates and they were plenty big enough with starters! Very generous portions. Overall a really good experience. All food was washed down with a decent bottle of red (montelpuciano D'abruzzo). The service was excellent from all staff but particularly the young lady whose name i forget (maybe the Influence of the wine ).. Excellent value for money, really good food, excellent service, a job very well done. And all for Β£90 with a tip! Brilliant!

So pleased to have the local pub back open. The food is amazing everytime, the Sunday lunch in particular! The staff are fantastic, Rhi is an exceptional manager and I love frequently visiting for just a drink as well as going for a meal. Keep up the good work! π

Popped in this pub during a long dog walk. Had a coffee out the front in the sunshine. The pub looks lovely and the dog friendly attitude and treats are a welcome bonus. The way that all village country pubs should be. I look forward to popping in again. Can't remember if there's an open fire/log burner, but that would make it perfect in the winter and then a 5 star. Lol.

Absolutely superb. Lovely to see this gem of a pub open again and, from what I could tell on a Wednesday evening, thriving on what they do. Fantastic selection of drinks and the food was lovely. Staff were friendly and very efficient. All round a great experience and I'll be back soon before the word gets round and I struggle to get a reservation! .

Very, very nice ale. Clearly the publican ensures the pipes are cleaned and the beer is not served too early but left to settle.

Nice place. But I have been sat in the car park for 17 months.and 5 days now and it still isn't open. The car has run out of fuel and.I have eaten the spare wheel to survive. Locals are nice though

I have been to this pub three times in the last three years. It won't be four times in four years. Our first visit was pleasent enough, the Landlady was engaging and the food nice enough. Not much of an atmosphere but as we were the only people in there at the time thats perhaps to be expected. Our second visit was a Saturday afternoon, we walked through the door at 13:45 only to be told by the Landlord not to bother as he was closing up. When we asked why as their advertised opening hours (written on the board in the carpark) said they were open until 14:30. He promptly stated he wasn't staying open just for us. Our final most recent visit was a mixture of our two previous times. The food was nice but the Landlord did not make us feel welcome and the atmosphere was cold at best, we ate and left. When we visit family in the area we often eat out and enjoy staying for a few friendly drinks after, this is certainly not the place to do that.
