The Swan Little Waldingfield in Babergh

So pleased to have the local pub back open. The food is amazing everytime, the Sunday lunch in particular! The staff are fantastic, Rhi is an exceptional manager and I love frequently visiting for just a drink as well as going for a meal. Keep up the good work! 😁

Popped in this pub during a long dog walk. Had a coffee out the front in the sunshine. The pub looks lovely and the dog friendly attitude and treats are a welcome bonus. The way that all village country pubs should be. I look forward to popping in again. Can't remember if there's an open fire/log burner, but that would make it perfect in the winter and then a 5 star. Lol.

Absolutely superb. Lovely to see this gem of a pub open again and, from what I could tell on a Wednesday evening, thriving on what they do. Fantastic selection of drinks and the food was lovely. Staff were friendly and very efficient. All round a great experience and I'll be back soon before the word gets round and I struggle to get a reservation! .

Wonderful to have our village pub back! I have been twice since it opened, and am booked for dinner with friends on Friday. Staff are friendly and professional. Lovely atmosphere. And there's now a lovely patio area. Highly recommended.

★★★★★ I had the pleasure of attending The Swan Pub's reopening night in Little Waldingfield, and what a fabulous evening it was! Ashley, his manageress, and the entire team were incredibly welcoming, making sure everyone had a brilliant time. The pub itself is fantastic, featuring a main bar area, a separate lounge, and a spacious patio and garden with plenty of seats and tables. They offer a great selection of beers from two local breweries, a Suffolk-brewed cider, and all the usual spirits you’d expect. The menu is varied and fairly priced, with something for everyone. Parking is also available, which is a big plus. I would happily recommend The Swan to anyone looking for a great pub experience!

Very, very nice ale. Clearly the publican ensures the pipes are cleaned and the beer is not served too early but left to settle.

Nice place. But I have been sat in the car park for 17 months.and 5 days now and it still isn't open. The car has run out of fuel and.I have eaten the spare wheel to survive. Locals are nice though

Wonderful excellent value food and a warm welcome with a sense of humour. You must try this place.

Fantastic prices, friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

I have been to this pub three times in the last three years. It won't be four times in four years. Our first visit was pleasent enough, the Landlady was engaging and the food nice enough. Not much of an atmosphere but as we were the only people in there at the time thats perhaps to be expected. Our second visit was a Saturday afternoon, we walked through the door at 13:45 only to be told by the Landlord not to bother as he was closing up. When we asked why as their advertised opening hours (written on the board in the carpark) said they were open until 14:30. He promptly stated he wasn't staying open just for us. Our final most recent visit was a mixture of our two previous times. The food was nice but the Landlord did not make us feel welcome and the atmosphere was cold at best, we ate and left. When we visit family in the area we often eat out and enjoy staying for a few friendly drinks after, this is certainly not the place to do that.
