Overpriced hotel. The food is below everage. The staffs are grumpy. I had a pot of tea in the afternoon. The bill has been signed. I was questioning the next day by the staff whether I have whiskey or other things! Very unfriendly attitude. Guests walked into restaurant for dinner were questioned rudely. BTW : do not buy half board offer. Nothing offer with half board deal. You will be charged normal (deduct the 35 GBP "half board" money).

We stayed at a cottage that was nice, but... The floor was cracking; the sink had separate hot/cold water taps. Overall, the hotel is nice, the food at Brasserie was very good. The lack of parking space was annoying.

A beautiful and famous town. The only 4-star hotel with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Drink a glass of the famous local Cotswold Gin. It’s so relaxing.

We had our dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant during our stay at Bibury. The food was OK but they were obviously short of workforce. My parents and I waited way too long both for the food and the bill. The table next to us during dinner waited for about an hour without any dishes served.

Our wedding day was utterly fantastic, thanks in no small part to all of the staff at The Swan. Molly and Charlotte were brilliant coordinators, answering all of our questions along the way, and helping us out with anything we were unsure about. We were treated so well by all the staff, who couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful, throughout the organisation, and the event itself. All of our guests noted how friendly and warm the staff were, so much so that many of the guests were on a first-name-basis with various staff members! The food was excellent, the atmosphere was perfect, and all of our guests noted what a fantastic, romantic venue it was for such a wonderful day. Even our band (The Debonairs), noted what a fantastic venue it was. The rooms were clean, well appointed, and comfortable (as our guests who stayed the night before, and the night of the wedding, all attested). The Bridal Suite was superb; we’re already thinking about returning for an anniversary. Many thanks to Molly, Charlotte, Nikki, India, and all of The Swan staff for making our wedding day unforgettable. We already fondly remember the good times had by all who were there!

I was on holiday with my fiance and stopped in the the swan for a quick drink and bite to eat and was greeted by a very friendly bar tender by the name of Jake , he was quick to service and recommended a myriad of excellent locations to visit in the British country side . Would recommend this place 10 of 10 times to anybody visiting bibury .

Every year, I bring my Mum to Bibury for cream tea at The Swan for her Birthday and to revisit the home she was evacuated to during WW2 with her family .. So it's always a special and an emotional trip for her ..especially now shes 85 yrs young .. This year we were so sad with the decline of the service and the quality and size of the cream tea .. The pot of tea was cold and was returned ..the scones were so tiny, less than half the size of last years and of a shop bought scone .. The waitresses came to the table a couple of times to clear our table while my Mother was still eating.. The staffs uniform are scruffy.. leggings and an old t.shirt .Paving slabs were uneven and wobbly .. nearly tripped several times..and the floor to the entrance of the disabled toilet has a lip to it and I fell backwards when closing the door .. Unfortunately taken over by Fullers a few yrs ago , there's nothing special about The Swan anymore .. Such a shame in such a beautiful iconic little village visited by thousands from around the World every year... And just because we /they don't visit often or only the once ,doesn't mean you should cut back on flour and water to make a decent size scone, even if the chef is new and charge what you do for it ! Surely the idea is to Provide a lovely experience and a memory of the hotel in this Cotswold villiage Its not difficult to get it right Fullers :(

Was there for the restaurant. Meh, was very hard to get “veggie” option for the afternoon tea. Had to discuss with the guy over the counter for ages to get it customized. All in all, we deffo had to have another lunch after this.

Having played at several weddings at The Swan in Bibury, I can confidently say it's an enchanting venue that captures the essence of quintessential Cotswold village charm. Nestled on the tranquil banks of the River Coln, this former Cotswold coaching inn offers a haven for intimate weddings, quiet business meetings, or peaceful escapes. Immerse yourself in the idyllic surroundings and experience the ultimate relaxation at this quintessential Cotswold retreat. (Photo credit @danpotterphotos)

Very bad tea experience We were extremely disappointed with the tea service. In such a beautiful hotel and for those prices, one would expect a classic, delicious English tea. Instead, we received two hard and cold scones, tiny sandwiches with stale bread, and three finger-sized cake samples. All this for £30! There are not many other options either. It's a shame they don't offer better service. ---

We had a peaceful and tranquil overnight stay. The food was very good, well cooked and well presented. All the staff were immensely friendly and courteous, even at the end of their long shifts they were still smiling. A most convivial, relaxing very comfortable time in idyllic village. Would love to return.

Tried the restaurant. Ambience and service were great. Staff were friendly. The menu needs improvement. I tried the baked trout it was difficult to eat because of the fishbones

The service was fine but food is vastly overpriced. £155 for lunch for three! Coffee £4.30 a cup! It's not special enough to justify those prices.

📍The Swan at Bibury Hotel at the prime location of Bibury. 'Booked a package for 260£ per night which includes the following details: - Complimentary Cream Tea (value £12pp) - £70 per room allowance to use towards food on your first day (please note this is food only, drinks are not included. value is based on 2 people) - Full English breakfast for two daily - A complimentary late check out at 12 noon (value £20) - This package is non amendable and non refundable within 72 hours of arrival . . Dinner is delicious, 8.5 out of 10. It was cooked quite a bit bland. But I don't want to add salt because the other meals are already very salty. . Breakfast is available in buffet style for us to prepare ourselves. with a menu of hot dishes There are many different eggs to choose from. . Lovely staff, always smiling and greeting, friendly service. The feel is like being in Downton Abbey. The butler has one accent, the waiter and the cook have another accent. It's very much like being in a movie 🥰 . Highly recommend staying here. Suitable for Slow Life people. . . P.S. Your husband wrote to tell him in advance that he wanted a blue room. (same tone as the watch) because my wife likes blue.... This wife comes in a pink dress, pink bow, pink jewelry, haha. Only the watch was blue because they were worn together 🩵 The next day I had to change my outfit to match the theme. Good thing I brought a blue jacket just in case 😆 . . #mmukapril2024 #biburyvillage #bibury #theswanhotelbibury #theswanhotel .

Bibury is a Cotswolds village so cute it looks like it hopped straight out of a fairytale, and The Swan Hotel fits right in! This charming hotel is like stepping back in time, with honey-colored stone walls and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are comfy and full of character, and rumor has it some even have four-poster beds (perfect for pretending you're royalty!). But the real star of the show might be the food. The restaurant dishes up delicious meals that are sure to satisfy your inner gourmand. So, if you're looking for a charming Cotswolds escape with a touch of history and a side of delicious food, The Swan Hotel is your perfect little nest. Just don't blame me if you end up wanting to stay forever!

My wife thinks the best fish and chips she's ever had and a fussy 5yo demolished the cod fingers - it's certainly up there with the best chip shops in the UK.

The cafe is very basic which is fine, however, the prices are too high. Two coffees over nine pounds. We did have oat milk instead of cows and one was decaf but even so that’s the most we have been charged for two medium sized coffees anywhere in the UK. There was even a 10% service charge added to the bill which again was a first for us in a cafe. Staff were very nice but we won’t return. There is a limit to how much we want to pay for coffee. It’s not £9+.

This wonderful little gem run by a husband from Turkey and wife from Slovakia prepare some of the most delicious food I’ve ever had. We had eggplant & red pepper mousaka and lamb tangine and topped the meal off with delicious homemade ice cream. Wonderful wine selection as well. Very reasonable prices. It’s a must visit in Broadway!!
