Would highly recommend The Surrey Coffee Co, unbelievable coffee with super friendly staff working there making you feel welcome. Couldn’t recommend more!

Best coffee in Walton in terms of quality, food is very good too with a lot of variety. Staff always welcoming and friendly.

Visited here last week with my daughter, having previously visited on many occasion ordered (like I always do) a Surrey muffin with smashed avocado inside and a chicken and chorizo panini. We were told this would have to be checked with the kitchen as the avocado is put on the side normally and they can not do a panini it can only be in a wrap? (Even though they do other paninis just not this one anymore, I thought food was freshly made but I’m now thinking they must pre-make the sandwiches etc) I advised this is what we usually have, So the lady on the till checked with the kitchen but said the same. Only small things they needed to do to make our experience as a customer good and not really asking for a whole menu change but for some reason they didn’t feel the need. For these reasons we will not visit here again, we have so many family and friends visit throughout the year and always recommend this place but we will not from now on and go elsewhere in future. Other places I would recommend on par or better would be Mclarens, Hygge cafe, Old school cafe, Cafe verditer and Aromas Artisan cafe, nothing is too big for them to do, never had an issue with these.

Certainly a very busy coffee shop, constant queue for takeaway coffee but we were there for a breakfast. It was a pleasant breakfast but let down by the details and coffee. I had eggs benedict and the sauce was delicious but one half of the crumpet had perfectly cooked bacon the other the bacon was barely cooked with the fat still very white! My wife had the California which should of had plum tomatoes but was served with ordinary tomatoes, it was also a hot breakfast served on a cold plate, meaning the breakfast was cold within minutes - not nice. I would also expect a coffee shop to take real care over the coffee but sadly not. The coffee, black Americano, was at best mediocre. No real strength and complete lack of mouth feel and I would guess a degree or two over temperature. Shame, as they say in business you only get one chance to make a first impression so consistency has to be paramount. Clearly from the number of patrons we would appear to be the exception in being disappointed, however ‘feed back is a gift’ and the above should be taken in that vein. We did visit in the very early days and were equally disappointed by the coffee but everyone deserves a second chance, however we were still not impressed.

Best coffee in town! Great food, fresh, vibrant and always tasty. Amazing ginger shots, for those that can handle the! The Avocado, sourdough, poached eggs and Salmon is incredible!

Whilst up in London from Cornwall came across this diamond coffee/cafe shop. I had the best very best breakfast in a long,long time. The owner was lovely and I noticed that he could not do enough for his customers. His helpers were also happy,smiley girls. It made my few days in London very pleasurable, good food is so important to making us happy. Thankyou Surrey Coffee Co. I will be back.

Coffee and pastry were both nice - not worth a detour, but not disappointing. Even for sit-in, coffee is served in paper cups. They say, every cup of recycled; however, for consumption on the premises, why not serve in a real cup (would improve the taste, and experience). Rating as ‘average’ seems a little on the harsh side, but ‘very good’ would be generous. Service was friendly.

Have been visiting the UK from Australia for about 10 days. Have attended the Surrey coffee co almost every day we have been here. Tried a few other shops around but nothing beats this place. Value for money is exceptional. The staff and atmosphere here is top notch. Have eaten breakfasts/lunches and cannot find fault with anything, all for a reasonable price. The coffee is amazing to boot. Highly recommend and if I was to model a business back home off of one I’ve attended in the UK, this would be it.

Ben & his team are exceptional, we go to other places but we are never disappointed and that says a lot. Chicken Caesar wrap this Time for lunch but I usually go for a Benny Bagel or the Full English. if I could critique id say more comfy chairs would be nice! Nick

This used to be fantastic…. Unfortunately it has new chefs and the food we were served was awful. Cold wraps, just a few chips and nothing compared to what it used to be. The staff were totally disinterested so we asked for the owner and were told he’s not in much now… They have also added 20% to most of the prices. A real shame as it was good but avoid at all costs!

Nice contemporary designed coffee shop serving good quality coffee. I enjoyed a flat white followed by a macchiato sat in a comfy chair. They also serve pastries, cakes and food which all looked very nice.
