The Sun & Woolpack in Enfield

Lovely evening with friends and new ownership I believe has been a while now but new since I last been are fantastic

My go to pub all the staff are a great unit , very clean and friendly like a home from home, and the gin deal is amazing, my only place to go now.

I recently visited The Goat and had a lovely Sunday roast on the terrace — perfect for a relaxed afternoon. I've added it to my barguide.london site too!

Decent place ,recently renovated. People smoke in the door which is a jerk move for those who don't want to inhale toxic cig smoke, hence the 4 stars only.

Walked into this pub and got some stares and horrible vibes. Did not stay.

Best pub on the Hertford Road, beautiful pub inside & out… Garden is beautiful. Staff & Regulars are genuine, I was made feel welcome the first time visiting the Woolpack, entertainment every weekend!

I’m a local to this pub and now this is the only pub that I know and recommend to my friends and family, staff have always been very friendly and efficient with very good prices with their food and drinks. Amazing

We visit Enfield a couple of times a year and stay over. Visited Sun & Woolpack a few times and are always made so welcome. Staff are really friendly, they even put the darts on for us last night! Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere so we make sure we pop in everytime we're in town.

New management are just what this pub needed. I have been a regular for years and stopped coming recently but now I’m back great staff good drinks and food

A young lady by the name of Chelsea was really warm and gracious when serving my husband and I. The pub has still got its old charm but with a fresh twist. Definitely needed revamping and pleased to say that’s happening now. By far the best pub on Hertford Road and best in prices.

Darren and the Team were absolutely brilliant tonight and made sure our group were all taken care of. Will definitely come back. Thanks again guys xx

Good pub. It's got considerably more expensive for the area after the partnership with Greene King, but I guess there are not many other options to keep going in these trying times. It's still a very good place to have some drinks, tidy, affordable, large garden and the only pub nearby serving hot food.

Really good food and the staff was super nice. The beef and ale pie was delicious

This place is awesome! Paul and Emily handled our group of 14 with expertise when we just walked in. The food was top tier and classic, timeless for sure. Can’t wait to come back here. Check this place out!

My go-to pub, especially when I need the comfort of my beloved but despairing Spurs comrades. The pub underwent a good scrub up a few years ago and is much more pleasant other than when Spurs lose, which is too often. Decent pub grub, friendly patrons, and keen enough price. Can get a bit rowdy but that just enhances the quirkiness of it all.

Really on the fence whether to give 3 or 4 stars here. The ambiance of Sun & Woolpack is very nice. There is a pool table out back and a screen inside where you can pick the music! I like the choice of sitting inside, streetside, or the more private backyard area. The food was great (we had 2 burgers with fries). However, the wait for the food was extreme, nearly an hour waiting. The place was not busy at all, so no idea why we had to wait so long. My other complaint is that the backyard outdoor seating was very dirty, the seats and tables were covered in leaves, dirt, cigarette ash etc. We went on a Sunday so maybe this was just a bad day. I would like to go back on a weekday or maybe a Saturday and see if the speed of service and cleanliness is improved.

Stopped for a meal at lunchtime. Excellent, barman was friendly. The place has a great vibe, locals chatting away, they say London can be impersonal but not here.

I visited today, lovely pub and great customer service. I had the sea food platter, the best sea food I ever tried. The drinks are not watered down which is amazing. Will definitely return here.

Good little local with regular entertainment, kids welcome during the day with a kid's menu available and sometimes a bouncy castle.

Lovely pub, hosted a wake for us, perfect venue

Very kindly let me use the loo when I was busting for a wee! Place was very clean (loos were spotless), looked lovely and welcoming, and the fella behind the bar was very friendly. I'll be back in that neck of the woods soon and make sure to stop in for some food.

Nice atmosphere and great roast dinner!

First time I'd ever been in this pub. Great people, friendly bar staff. Shelter up in areas so could watch the football even when it was raining. Now allowed inside not just outside in the back garden. Pool table in the garden with a cover over the top, so can play pool when warm enough even when light showers occur. Reasonably priced not the priciest of pubs around the area. Met new people friendly enough, considering I was a complete stranger, possibly helped out as they knew my mates. So went in again on my own a couple of days later

BEST PUB IN ENFIELD I FILL AT HOME WHEN I AM THERE JOE AND HIS WIFE ARE THE BEST AND I LOVE THE FOOD AS WELL 😉👌👍

A nice local, refurbished during lockdown. Really calm welcoming atmosphere.Spotless with little cards indicating cleaned tables and table service. Nice beer m,cold drinks wine etc Apparently they do a roast on Sundays but didn't try it. Friendly staff.Beer gardens outside again didn't really look. It was 37° that day so needed refreshment urgently. Final comment-: fabulous loos with soaps, handcreams, little towels and stuff like in a posh hotel
