Delicasil Authentic Nigerian & African Caribbean Cuisine in Enfield

This place is one of the best place I have visited in north london the Ogusi was so delicious reminded me my mom's food back DRCongo. I personally think that the chef was swift with time and the meal was worth every penny be sure to pop in some time.

The food was absolutely perfect, I have come here twice and the staff are always friendly, and the food is made in a timely manner, it truly is a must try!!!

We ordered some food for our babies naming ceremony and it was very short notice but they were so accommodating at helpful. Everything was delicious! Can’t wait to order more

They have a great selection of foods, their prices are affordable, and they truly cook the food with love in a timely manner, I also love the different drinks they have, the staff were super friendly, I highly recommend here.

Friendly service, impeccable, clean, restaurant, amazing staff members, Alyssa family own Black business. We need to do more of this in Black history month. Sil, the business owner is from Nigeria and she is lovely. Make sure you come and celebrate your black history month if you live in Enfield and I are a person that just loves good food!

This restaurant makes the meanest jollof rice in UK and trust me, I've eaten a few! Simply the best. I'd like to know their crispy turkey recipe because It goes so well with the jollof rice. Well done Delicasil and the owner Madam Sil. Please just keep it as it is and we'll keep returning.

I never normally leave reviews but I had to come on here and give Auntie a massive shoutout. The food is wonderfully fresh and the service is soo professional. Plantains cooked perfectly, fish and meat seasoned to perfection. If you're missing some perfect Nigerian home cooking this is the spot to order from in Enfield!! The only problem is I wish I had discovered it sooner!!

Made a first visit to this great little food joint with my wife last week. Love Caribbean food but hadn’t really tried Nigerian before and was especially keen to sample jollof rice for the first time. Am delighted to say everything was delicious! The rice, plantain, hake dish and jerk chicken were all superb. We also had some lovely dough balls as a starter. Staff were very friendly and then after eating we got chatting to the owner, Sil, who was really nice too. We will definitely be going back!

I visited this restaurant for the first time the beef was very fatty, the akara was reheated not fresh tasted like it had been sitting there for few days was very hard. The beef was full of fat, jollof rice was very spicy. Portion sizes are small for the amount this restaurant is charging. Not impressed with the food whatsoever and I paid almost £50

The food was 10/10 🥰 I would definitely recommend this restaurant, this restaurant is now my new local, the jollof rice was full of flavour, the beef stew was soft and juicy, I also tried the akara which was really nice, I wish they had more available to purchase but I attended the restaurant close to closing time so I’m suprised these items were still available for me to buy. The puff puff was nice and sweet, fluffy and tasty, portion sizes are a good for your money, I would recommend this restaurant compared to the other restaurants I’ve tasted within Enfield.

The food was terrible the chicken was burnt and the rice was bland

I would have given 0 stars if it was an option for delivery. Just Eat did not deliver my order but marked it as delivered. I had to contact the Delicasil who confirmed that the food was still with them. They had to redo the food as it had now gone cold and I had to pick it up. Not very good service from Just Eat! The food however was excellent as usual!

Great Food, Great Service, packs a punch!!

We usually go south east to eat Nigerian food, as we based in Cheshunt is always a long drive, traffic so I have searched for something closer to us and this lovely place pop up in my search, owner absolutely lovely, very welcoming, food was delicious, my daughter got free drink and puff puff it was her birthday, definitely will be back to try other food, highly recommended

I wish I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars! From the moment we stepped in, the owner greeted us warmly. We opted for puff-puff, the signature Jerk-Jollof rice combo and Gbegiri soup, and we were blown away by the flavors. The jollof rice was perfectly moist and bursting with flavor, and the fried plantain was exceptional. Highly recommended dining experience!"

I ordered two moin moin leaves but was given two moin moin in bowls. This is the second time this type of mistake will happen. This meant l paid for the more expensive moin in leaves but got moin in bowls. This is not fair.

Superb service and amazing food. I ordered Efe riro and Egusi for collection. Additionally added some meat pie at the restaurant which I couldn’t resist. The food is so fresh, delicious and well made. The lady who took my order was also very nice and kind over the phone. I am looking forward to making more orders and eating food from here. I must add as a woman that’s always concerned about hygiene. The restaurant food counter was super clean and the guys provided a wonderful service. I’m so impressed 🥰

Went there a little late, and aunty was amazing in accommodating my order and advising me on what to order. Really lovely and the food was amazing too.

We have used this caterer for years and recommended her from one family member to another and to friends. The food is very well-prepared and tastes delicious. The egusi is a knockout! 😂 A trial will convince you. Just as important is her customer service, which is personal, caring and selfless. Been to many Nigerian restaurants in London over many years and never met the owners of any. The owner of this restaurant is behind the counter serving with pride. Prices are ok and food is very good. She says she caters for events so I will drop that here to help promote a hard working lady. 100% will use for my events

The chef was very accommodating to ensure my fish was cooked and served to my liking. I had the the oven baked croaker fillet with plantain and sweet potatoes fries. The fish was very succulent and had no bones and the sides were nice and hot. The service was delightful for my first time going. I will definitely be returning again. Horrible meal..The stew was bitter..The portion size of beef said 4 portions on their page but they delivered the meal with only 1 beef...Altogether a Horrible experience..I discourage any one from patronising this restaurant..wish there was a rating less than 0

This is my second time here. The first dining experience was wonderful. The food was delicious, presented well and the staff were friendly and welcoming. My second time (today) has been excellent. Wow! I am a Jamaican who loves different nationalities food. I am new to enfield while searching for nigerian takeaway i came across Delicasil I was a bit apprehensive because I am used to home cooked from my friends. I went crazy with my order 2 mackerel, eguci, pounded yam, 2 each moi moi with eggs also with mackerel wrapped in leaves which was so tasty it lasted for a few days. Breakfast and dinner I was filled and satisfied. Since November 2022 I haved ordered 3 times. I can't wait to go in and sit down to enjoy the atmosphere, I am struggling because of my mobility, I think I have to wait until one of my friends come to visit. I give them a 10 /10. As I am writing this today 5/4/23 I am thinking should I order today, just thinking about my high blood pressure lord help me ooo😎💖

It was not what I expected, the beans did not taste like the ones from previous orders. Also the melon soup did not contain any cow leg/foot mainly tripe, not great for the cost. Not very happy

The best African food I have had in Enfield

Delicious food and amazing customer service. I travelled 22km to get some food from this restaurant however, I arrived late and the shop was closed. I called the phone number associated with the restaurant and explained my situation. The owner was so kind and sent her sons to open the shop and prepare me a meal to takeaway which was absolutely delicious. I am so grateful and happy with the whole experience. May God bless aunty, her family and business.

Amazing food. Ordered for my choir (over 20 people)for 5 days and OMG, everyone enjoyed the food. Welldone Delicasil.

I ordered the Friday special of whole tilapia, when the food came there was a bag of puff puff on top, I thought it was complimentary so I ate some but then realised I had been sent the wrong food. When I tried to rectify the issue they told me I needed to return all the food and would need to pay for the puff puff. I thought it was unreasonable as it wasn’t my fault I was sent the wrong food but the woman on the phone was very rude so I cancelled my order and won’t be eating there again. It’s a shame they lost a loyal customer over £2. They have a lot to learn about customer service.

Excellent food. My friend and I haven’t tried many Nigerian restaurants but this one really caught our eye. The jerk chicken and jollof rice was quite excellent.

I have walked past a few times and bought small chops and snacks before but finally decided to give it a proper go yesterday. I had the Ayamase with white rice and plantain and I'd recommend you do the same, it was a beautiful blend of flavour and spices. It didn't have that bitter flavour you sometimes get in other places. I wasn't too hungry when I went in and the portions were pretty sizeable but it was so good I finished it all anyway. I walked home feeling pleased with myself and any thoughts of my "diet" long forgotten Can't wait to go again

We really wanted to love the food as all the reviews are so lovely. We got the pounded yam and egusi. Pounded yam was packaged really nicely and presentation was nice. The egusi was really disappointing though, it was really hard and grainy like dry gari. It also didn’t have any flavour, had to add seasoning to it. Really liked the packaging and that they put the allergens on packaging.

Well what can say.... I've been looking for a good nigerian takaway in enfield that makes good authentic food and doesn't over charge. Well I found it here, after craving some proper nija food and scanning the Web and reading reviews I decided to try Delicasil oh boi was I glad I did. 1) the owner is so friendly I came in with my 3 chatty children and ended up speaking with her for about 20mins or so, she was soooo lovely. 2) man the food was sooo good I ordered a lot from the jellof rice, egusi, ayamashe which by the way is bangging 💯 moimoi was perfectly seasoned 🤌🏾. It was good reasonably priced I spent about £40+ and it all feed myself and 4 kids. It was good and we ordering again today. 🥰🥰🥰

Had egusi and pounded yam. It was very delicious. Having being raised by a caterer the taste of the authentic egusi soup took me through memory lane demolishing egusi soup in Abuja. Highly recommended.
