Main Cafe in Enfield

We have visited Main Cafe every Friday, after school , with the granddaughters for a year. The staff / owners have been so kind, and the food tasty and copious . Thank you !

All I can say is give it a try .i had the chicken burger one of the best in the area

Food was distinctly average but what got me was the price! Came in a folding box which is clearly a gimmick to up the price. Food was very average. I needed to wash my hands and they said they couldn’t help despite the fact I could clearly see a sink with soap in the kitchen behind the order area. Absolutely disgusting that they could justify taking my money for an average burger but wouldn’t let me use the sink to wash my hands. Even the HSE would allow customers to use the sink! Disgusting service! Won’t be back.

So far completed 1 collection and 1 delivery. The firsr collection was great loved the wings and sauces however the 2nd time we ordered, the wings didn't taste fried enough and were tough. Hoping it was a 1 off but shame it wasn't consistent. I'll keep ordering the food is a great price and nice selection of items

Have previously visited a few times and had a good service. Today was a different story, sadly. They took a while to take the order. Then when it came, my meal had no salad which I pointed out. The waiter said, ‘You didn’t ask for salad’. The meal comes with salad, therefore there is no reason for the customer to ask for the salad. So rather than apologise and fix it, there seemed to be attitude his end. I asked for the salad. He took my plate - for quite a time while my friend carried on eating her lunch and I continued wait. Finally, he brought back my jacket potato and beans with salad. I proceeded to eat my lunch. The jacket potato and beans were cold. I told the waiter this. Again, no apology. By then, I’d had enough so I said, ‘I’ll leave it’. Two wrong orders, a lot of waiting, no apology and an undercurrent of attitude. Really not how to run a café or keep your customers happy. Very disappointing.

Lots of choice-tasty breakfast of mushroom, egg, bubble, sausage & bacon. My egg was hard (I am fussy) & they cooked me another no problem. Couldn't manage the toast but would definitely recommend.

The food tastes so good and the best wing I’ve had so far!!! However, the shop doesn’t look like a food shop. I didn’t know it was a fast food place until I went in and asked the girl in the fringe (who was really nice). There needs to be menus and pictures on the wall so people can see the menu and know it sells food.

Always take the kids here, food is so good, and the pancakes are incredible. Highly recommend the Canadian Breakfast, comes with pancakes, turkey bacon, scrambled eggs and real maple syrup. Staff are so welcoming, place is always clean, and service is the best I’ve experienced. Only downside is they’re closed on Sunday, but they deserve a rest like everyone else!

So I had a situation where I ordered some food, popped out, then all of a sudden the shop was closed. I was so angry. Gave them a call, said they tried to wait (like 15 mins) so I should come the next day. I was still so annoyed but let me say now that ALL IS FORGIVEN. The buttermilk fried chicken burger was perfect. I asked for grilled onions and they caramelised them perfectly. The chips were so nice. Will be going back. Such food is rare for this area, worth it.

Food was fresh, tasty great and the member of staff that served me was very kind and cheerful.

Pierogi are amazing, better that in any Polish restaurant, I tried all 3 types and they are ridiculously good. We had a blue cheese burger and it was ok, but sandwiches are so good it’s shocking. Finally a good place in the neighbourhood

Rancherous beef burger was delicious! Fresh ingredients and super tasty. Great portion of fries too. Finally a takeaway place in the area that is not a kebab shop.
