We are regulars to blackpool but first time ever in the Sun Inn. What a fabulous pub, very welcoming, staff were fab, karaoke was on and we had a great night. Also served amazing pies ! Thanks for a great night

After a hard week at work me and my pals went to blackpool for the weekend, we soon stumbled on the sun in what a stroke of look. After that didnt see much of blackpool as there was no need to go anwhere else great food great entertainment beer and hospitality all under one roof the toys r us of pubs

This could possibly be one of Blackpools hidden treasures. Excellent service and atmosphere. The entertainment was fantastic and a bit of something for everyone.

Wow. Would not have found this place if it wasn’t for the music spilling out Into the street. Karaoke was 1st class. If you’re not a pro, just kick back and enjoy. Do not pass this place by.

Grub was amazing, Pies weren't soggy. Attracts all walks of life. DJ continously belting out classic karaoke songs all night. Who would guess the DJ could sing songs from NWA. Very welcoming pub. Definitely returning later today before going home. Don't be put off from the exterior, yes it does look like it's been involved in a drive by shooting, but it's a whole different story inside, very cosy and original. Prices are amazing, cheap rounds.

Found this little jewel wilst out on my stag do. the staff was super friendly and welcoming. I had a pie and a pint wich were as about as good as you could get The access for my disabled son was more than adequate. The strippers were a tad older than i would of liked but very fit best pub in blackpool by far.

My first visit today and I really liked it they sell amazing looking pies I will have to try on my next visit

Nice pub decent prices, not over expensive. Get various types of pies .only a couple of points 1, could do with a coat of paint plus parts of the walls need re-plastering 2, hover the chairs/seats. Time when I was in was quiet, but be a great night for entertainment. Ask the staff for more information.

Great ale house just off the front near the pleasure beach. Got a few ales on and cold beer on tap. Nice old school atmosphere. Friendly vibe. Karaoke throughout the day. Serves hot pies/sausage rolls etc at the bar. Recommended 🍻 🥧 🎶 🎤 🌞

We were only popping in here for one and ended staying a few hours. Great atmosphere, great drinks. Had a good time listening to karaoke and up for a song or two myself!! People very friendly and made us feel welcome! We will return when back in Blackpool🙂

Very pleasant surprise. First time visiting here. Although from the outside it doesn’t appear very welcoming, once inside it is a whole different story. Everyone was so friendly, staff, customers and the DJ was hilarious.

This is a very friendly pub. They always have music playing. Not that modern rubbish. They offer food too. Pies and pasties but these sell out fast! We had to share a Cornish pasty between us. It was the last of the food and that was around 7pm. It was great. Can't remember the prices... I don't remember it being expensive. Very friendly in there and clean! Tables cleaned when someone leaves... They don't do that in wetherspoons. All in all a great way to spend your post beach hours and it's just across the street.

Very good prices on the beer and a good selection of pies to keep you refuelled. Staff worked very hard when there was a large party in but are very efficient so no long waits. Good honest traditional pub.

I visited on Sunday for my friends birthday and OMG. Such a charming little venue and the people were so warm and welcoming. There was karaoke all afternoon and evening and after singing 1 song people were addressing me by name. The owner Dave is very friendly and all are welcome here. (No Disruptive or abusive behaviour tolerated) so can I wait for my next visit.

Came up from Birmingham and found this gem of a place. Dave the gaffer runs a fantastic pub,wont stand no nonsense, everyone so friendly and made us welcome..definitely be returning 💕

Lovely traditional pub just off the promenade. They've got a couple of hand pumps which regularly change. There's a little garden out the back and a canny little drop down bench at the front. Unless Storm Eunace had her way of course! The staff are friendly and foodwise they serve fantastic pies!

Found this little pub down side street very welcoming and it’s the only pub I know that sells pie peas and gravy for £3.00 went down a treat, sport was on the tv, staff were very nice after a bit whenever we went upto the bar they’d be getting our drinks before asking, karaoke only Saturday night they had other things going off during the week ,pub definitely a must 😀😀😀

Just popped into your pub for a quick beer, great service, great beer a great little boozer. Been to Blackpool for many a year but never been in until today. Wish we had done many years ago.

This was one of the best pubs my twin brother Stephen and I visited on our recent four day stay in Blackpool, a proper traditional locals pub . I loved the look of this pub ,the interior is superb, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, tv's to enjoy the sport,pool tables and great decor and furnishings, very cozy ,there's also plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Bolton Street and all housed in a beautiful red bricked building. We were here on a Wednesday evening, we track and traced and sanitised our hands and we were allocated a table were we ordered a guinness each, poured in the correct manner even allowing time for the all important settle, we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My guinness was absolutely superb, a rich, thick, creamy and most importantly iced cold guinness bursting with taste, very easy to drink, on a hot evening a totally refreshing brew, it was just so good being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew and I must say this pub was lovely, the type of pubs I love. We really enjoyed our guinness in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to The Sun Inn we had a great time. The Sun Inn is easy to locate along Bolton Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, 10am till Midnight. Sunday, 11am till Midnight. A wonderful pub,if you're in the area most definitely well worth checking out.

The Sun Inn is a classic sea-side pub in Blackpool that offers a decent range of beers and spirits at affordable prices. A traditional pub with bags of character with lots of interesting feature's and great seating options and friendly staff. We came here as there isn't that many traditional pubs in Blackpool and this pub looked superb.On entry we gave all our track and trace details and sat in the main bar area. As all pubs are table service until the 19th of July at the earliest a staff member took our order of a couple of glasses of Guinness which were served in perfect condition and well priced. The Sun Inn is a rarity in Blackpool in that it was a traditional boozer'there are many pubs and bars in Blackpool but most are aimed at stag and hen nights and it was refreshing to go to a traditional pub with traditional beers with fantastic staff.So easy to get to from Waterloo road north bus stop take a right onto Britannia place and onto Bolton street.(This is my first review of the Sun Inn).
