Generous size bedroom and clean bed, with good lighting and plenty of sockets for charging mobile and laptop. Bathroom includes bath and shower. All clean and good surface space for putting down toiletries etc. Nice touch was the Nespresso coffee machine in the sitting area. Shame about the windows - they could do with being cleaned on the outside! Restaurant is moderate. Dinner service is very average. Breakfast buffet is similar. Would I return? Yes, because of the bedroom quality and location.

The hotel is being used to house homeless people Run down and dated. Bad neighborhood.

Great location for me personally, although if you're intending on visiting the city centre you approximately 20 to 30 minutes away, a taxi costs between £20 to £25.

Nice hotel for our spa weekend...not a scenic location though. Pleasant and helpful staff but small issues with lighting and TV in our room. Both resolved quickly. Spa very nice but again issues with coffee facilities (staff helpful) and needs water available whilst in thermal spa . Massage fabulous and relaxation room wonderful. We stayed on an overnight spa deal very good value.

Love this place, I've stayed here quite a lot over the years and really enjoyed it, although my last visit I found it quite understaffed, only 2 trying to keep breakfast buffet full,credit to the 2 young staff, felt sorry for them,they worked there socks off. As for the bar it was 1 person running the reception and bar,management needs to address this .

One of my favorite hotels on my trip. The staff were fantastic. They had good advice on things to do and were very accommodating. The hotel is a bit far from anything fun, but they make up for it with a good spa and restaurant.

Room was OK, floors not cleaned properly. Toilet did not fully flush. Breakfast was a joke, the buffet kept running out of food. When a member of staff was approached just got a shrug and looked at me as though I was asking for the moon.

We stayed at the hotel as part of my daughters birthday present from me and my wife, and our trip to Liverpool. I would definitely come back to this hotel, and i wished we stayed an extra day. Everything was clean, very disabled friendly, the staff was amazing, very friendly and always on hand to make our stay more comfortable and memorable. The bathroom was very spacious, but it was looking a bit tired and needs a tad updating, but it was very clean. Took my daughter for a swim before we checked out. Changing rooms were clean and spotless. All in all, me and my wife would love to come back again and would recommend to anyone who wants to get away for a perfect relaxation experience.

Rooms were massive but dirty. Needs such an upgrade, bathroom was disgusting. Would never stay here again. Booked for location as we were visiting for a funeral. Big free car park.

I've had a lovely experience at this hotel. The staff are very nice and the food is always hot and the environment is clean.

We had an issue with our room when we got here but reception and the manager were so helpful and apologetic. We had a free drink each complimentary of the hotel and our new room was amazing. Not too much around the hotel and in the midst of a very busy highway but other than that the hotel was lovely and so were the staff.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s basic, clean and good value for money in a great location for accessing the city but getting away early in the morning.
