Awful night tonight. Went for the bingo and too much noise to hear caller... bad atmosphere never again sadly. Drinks very reasonably priced service quick but atmosphere terrible

Best pub in Kirkby. The staff are attentive, accommodating and friendly. The Guinness is spot-on and there's always a good atmosphere, just what you want from a local.

Hi everybody my name is andrew dekannwarri private chef i was asked to supply my services to the mainbrace pub on there reopening week end at an agreed price i have completed the work and invioced them they are totally dis honest as they are refusing to pay and ignoring my contact i am a small one man band i find this to be disgraceful behaviour they are totall no trust worthy

So didn't actually go in . My car had broken down in their car park . But lovely staff and customers came out and asked if I was OK.

If any nautical themed location should be sunk, then this is it

As a total stranger walking into the pub, we couldn’t have been made to feel anymore welcome the owner could not have been nicer. Try a real pub with real welcoming people. And that’s from a guy that doesn’t even drink. Proper pub.

Toilets a descrace 😳 dirty an smelly with no toilet roll or hand wash! Juke box takes £1 coins but don't work or return money, owner very abrupt + unfriendly, staff seemed nice
