The Stone Trough in Leeds

Not impressed, went for Sunday lunch , waited 45 minutes for the meal to be served, my plate had 2 items missing ( gammon and stuffing with bacon ) the kids meal was missing the fries and on top of that the food was cold and the place itself was cold 🥶, the food was quite tasty but shame about everything else

Good food (apart from barely warm veg) service shocking 1hr 15mins from ordering - we were told at the bar there was a 45 minute wait fair ok - but still sitting there half hour later, lots of other people grumbling too. Plus side - lovely warm fire Down side - the wait

We love to visit it is a treat for us .we have always have lovely food and really great service. As we have changed jobs this year and our visits are fewer we have especially enjoyed our most recent visit with our daughter x

I visited today with a couple of friends. I got the Slow Roast Beef Sunday lunch. Wow! The best Sunday lunch I have ever had! The beef was cooked to perfection, the veg was not over cooked....everything was amazing. The staff were prompt, professional and friendly. We will definitely be back

Food was the culinary equivalent to an orgasm. The staff were fantastic, all dealt with some very entitled customers during a very busy period. I enjoyed it so much I might even come again tomorrow.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and eat regularly with friends. I can't believe how much standards have slipped, tables not cleared, staff standing chatting ignoring customers, but the food is the biggest disappointment, almost inedible on this occasion. Such a shame as used to be so reliable. I shall take my business elsewhere in future.

Tonight my daughter chose to have steak and it was cooked perfectly. I gave compliments to the chef , Josh. He did a fantastic job!

The food this evening was scrumptious and served piping hot. The service at the bar was polite and friendly Michelle was attentive to our needs even remembering the extra sauces we like when bringing out the food. Lovely mid week treat

Shocking horrendous dried up food from the festive menu, the server was as miserable as the food, stating what do you expect from microwave food! We were expecting it fresh as had to pre order and pay a deposit, the server even cleared plates whilst some of us were still eating, stating it will be busy when the restaurant had multiple empty table, she was so rude clearing up glasses we hadn’t used stating I didn’t ask that! we left once we saw the chefs with dirty clothes and hair, never again will we be visiting Stone Trough. No excuse they had problems with their heaters. The pig in blanket black and inedible along with the rock hard bullet roast potatoes, shocking food - they should have simply contacted us prior and we would have gone elsewhere as opposed to been made to pay for dried up inedible food

A tetleys pub and ex steak bar still heavily reliant on the food sales. I didn't eat so I cannot comment on the dishes on offer. The staff were good and the drinks were fine and reasonably priced. There was a nice atmosphere and we enjoyed a good chat over our drinks.

I've had the haloumi and chips and the double beef burger here (not in one sitting!!) and I can't fault either of them, at all. The service is fantastic too, so friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. Food is also priced well.

Amazing food, Amazing service and very low waiting time for the food to come.

Really enjoyed our lunch. Asked for an accessible and warm table which is what we got. If you’ve not been before and need a disabled parking space they are located at the back of the building. Entrance is then all on one level.

As an avid customer of the Stone Trough Pub I was, as always greeted with a smile from the very professional bar staff, Michelle, Abbie, and Chrissie. They catered to my every whim, and also checked on me to see how I was doing to make sure my experience was one of great memory. Being there time after time I have always felt welcome, a part of the family, and also a friend of each person that served me. Thank you very much to Michelle, Abbie & Chrissie as well as the rest of the team for a very pleasant visit and hope for the good times to continue!

First night of quizzing had a fun night thank you. Look forward to next week.

The staff are always so friendly, Chrissy the landlady always makes sure everything is in order. Every time I’ve eaten here they always make sure the food is how we would like it.

This is our local, it's a great option for quick, simple drinks or family food. It is dog friendly and always welcoming. They have a variety of food based evenings (curry night, , steak night etc) which seems really popular and it's a great option for kids food.

My experience at The Stone Trough was disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the staff seemed uninterested and, at times, outright rude. It made the whole visit feel unwelcoming, which was a real shame. The food was okay in terms of flavor, but the portion sizes left a lot to be desired. For the price, I expected more substance on the plate, and it just didn’t feel like good value. Sadly, between the lackluster service and the small portions, it wasn’t an experience I’d recommend.

Desde el momento en que entramos por la puerta principal hasta el momento en que nos fuimos, nos hablaron sobre todos los procesos de alérgenos e incluso se aseguraron de que pudieran atender a mi hijo que tiene necesidades especiales. Fabulous place for a Saturday night! We came up to have a few drinks and it was a fabulous atmosphere with lots things to choose from! The staff on shift were incredible and very attentive! We will definitely be coming back!

Popped in for dinner with friends to make the most of your 40% discount. Service at the bar by Maisie was spot on with an impressive knowledge of both drink and food available. Once getting seated the food arrived in no time at all 20-25 mins max. The server Chel was very attentive to the groups needs even with a fussy teen in tow. The food looked amazing and was pipeing hot, very much enjoyed by all. Hats is to the chefs,Chrissie and Josh for what they were creating on Wath looked like a buisier night than normal.

Me and my mum came on a Thursday for the 2 for £17 steak night. We both agreed this was the best steak we have had in a long time… and the beef dripping gravy is to die for! The service was excellent. Will defo be back soon 😀
