Must write and thank the Station Restaurant for putting on an excellent buffet for our Wake. Quality and quantity plus great staff service helped make the days planning go very well We couldn’t have ask for a better venue and refreshments Highly recommended Thanks to all The Knight Family

Attended the venue today with friends for a Sunday lunch. As aways the staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Food was plentiful and delicious. Atmosphere was good and busy.. Highly recommend this place for a well presented 4 roast carvery. Enough veg that you be hard pushed not to get something you like. Will be back again soon.

I returned with my family for a Sunday Carvery after a break of several months. On arrival we were invited to buy drinks and told that our table was ready for us. The drinks were reasonably priced and served with a smile. We had a variety of meats from the carvery and all were perfectly cooked. I like my beef with a trace of pink so was not disappointed - along with a piece of crackling which was readily added to my plate. I also like mash with my carvery and was very pleased to see that it was on offer along with at least 6 other veggies, roasties and Yorkshire puddings. My meat was very tender, as were all so we were more than happy with our Sunday Lunch. Only wish I had room for one of their very tasty desserts - but I did not

I visited the Station Restarant at Wisbech St Mary today with nine members of my luncheon club. We were given a warm welcome and directed to our table. It is a carvery, with three meats to chose from and numerous vegetables as well as large Yorkshire puddings. There was a good selection of desserts for afters. Staff very friendly. Good value for the money.

My Aunt took my husband and myself for mid week carvery. It was excellent. The food was very hot, the meat superbly cooked. Just wished they had fresh carrots not frozen or tinned. Waiting staff was very good and caring, especially when my aunt was not feeling very good half way through lunch, Will certainly be going back again

Booked this for my mothers wake and the food and service was excellent. So much care and attention given. All the food was fresh and of high standard. I would highly recommend this for any event.

So my poor dad spent approx 700 after loss of his wife we were promised chips and high quality food. The salad looked like it had been rescued. No chips deepfat fryer broke yet chips were served later the same day. Meats were from carvery day before but actually this was ok. Sausages inedible burnt . All of this didn't matter what did matter was the staff their attitude was disrespectful they refused to cover uneaten food they served tea and coffee for ten minutes. Bar staff eventually have us tinfoil to cover food and we were sent home with food in carrier bag. I contacted Trevor Dewey and he declined any apologies or refund this was disrespectful and unacceptable and I felt like he prays in vulnerable. Never use this for a wake

I returned to the Station Bar after about 6 months with my family for a Sunday Carvery. The beef is cooked to perfection - you have a choice of it pink or well done - and very tasty and tender. I usually ask for a bit of crackling to go with it and get it. The owner certainly is tops for his crackling! There is a very plentiful supply of freshly cooked vegetables - especially mash which is a must with a good carvery - up to about 8 of them. Along with perfect gravy what more could you ask for? Not only this - the price is very reasonable for a superb carvery

From a warm welcome to fresh hot food cooked to a high standard a wide choice of veg to suit everybody! Staff that’s attentive but not stood by your table. Trevor has a hit on his hands with this lovely place, booking is advisable to ensure you get to try the fare offered here. Even my mother loves the venue and that says a lot!

This is the must place to go to for a Sunday Carvery. Great food, great service and absolutely nothing to complain about. Price is chea for what you get

My wife and I attended an evening dinner with a club I belong to. A good meal with three different meats and a good selection of vegetables was provided. I suppose the only downside was certain desserts were not available, but those that were tasted good. It was ok to have drinks at the bar afterwards but no atmosphere, only football on the tv. Overall, if you only want to be fed it’s perfectly fine.

We have visited this restaurant numerous times for Sunday lunch and every time the food and service can’t be faulted. We even take a family member from Holt who thoroughly enjoys the food on offer, I highly recommend this place... it’s worth calling and booking before hand, although I think you can turn up and wait... ✅

I’ve visited here a few times time for a Sunday carvery and for an evening meal! The food is beautiful every time and the portions sizes are massive I’m never hungry after I leave. It’s a very family friendly place, with there being a park just outside.

Had a roast lunch today with friends in lovely surroundings. Made welcome and quick service, choice of roast beef, pork and turkey. Help yourself to what you want, potatoes, vegetables, Yorkshire puddings, gravy all home made. Excellent variety of desserts some to mention, raspberry roulade, lemon meringue, baileys cheesecake plus many others! Book yourself a table, open on Wednesday and Sunday. Would definitely recommend this place excellent value for money and delicious food.

Called in tonight on business saw that they have a midweek carvery roast beef or pork excellent quality food at reasonable price

Excellent food, clean and comfortable, Day was spoilt by the attitude of the chef. The restaurant is advertised as a carvery, and normally when I have been to other carvery's you are given the meat you have chosen , and then help yourself to the vegetables, which we all did. I do not like wasting food, so I only took one small roast potato as they were well cooked, but as luck would have it, it was very nice so I went to get another one, and was promptly told by the chef that I was not allowed to have any more,so having been allowed only one potato I was not pleased.

As always a lovely visit, our dear mum was treated like a queen and the food was lovely the staff are so kind and can't do enough. The food is tasty and well cooked can't find nicer anywhere

Not usually a fan of carveries, meat is often cold, watery veg etc, etc, however how pleasing this one was - the food was hot, cooked well and regularly replaced so was always fresh - just like home . The staff were friendly and efficient, it was particularly nice that the Chef visited the tables to check all was well

Visited as a manner of a family event held in restaurant. Bought cider from bar, brought a still cider from cellar but this tasted vinegary so it was replaced supposedly with another cider which also tastes similar and not drunk. The hog roast was served...

Very nice carvery with plenty of choice of meats and veg. Lots of friendly staff who kept checking if we was happy with our meal. Definitely value for money and I would go again.

A family group of over 40 people have been today for the Sunday carvery and it was excellent, four different meats to choose from, huge Yorkshire puddings and loads of fresh cooked vegetables and lovely roast potatoes,also a wide choice of desserts.Trevor and staff couldn't do enough for us, and made it a memorable day for us all.Thankyou all so much.

We went to the station restaurant sunday ,there was 4 of us ,and everyone had a lovely lunch the staff was exellent and helpfull ,the food hot and exellent four meats and fresh local veg,The best local carvery by miles .

The Station Restuarant was recommended to me by my grandson as he had visited it a few times with his family so, taking it up we re-visited on 10th. May 2015.The Sunday Carvery is first class - plenty of meat and a selection of locally grown vegetables all freshly cooked and very tempting. I had the beef which was very tender, and locally sourced from a whole 2 miles away!My only regret is that I did not have room for a dessert as just could not leave tasty food on my plate to make room for one! Do they do a take-away dessert I wonder. Must ask next visit.As just under £9 per head it is very good value. Keep it up!

I visited the Station Restuarant with my family for Sunday Lunch as had been recommended to it.The meat was well cooked, tender and very tasty. All vegetables - and there were plenty of them were freshly cooked. Even the roast potatoes were crispy which I like.Not the cheapest carvery I have had but it was well worth the money. As it was very busy I suggest booking before you go to ensure you get a table as it is a rather small restuarant,So good that I will come back again

My family and I frequently eaten at The Station. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. Selection of roast meats and vegetables are always good.Would recommend most definitely.

We went to this restaurant last Sunday on the spur of the moment. Walked in and went to the bar and the bar man directed us to the relevant person to sort out a table. Within 5 minutes we were seated and soon after we were called to get our lunch. There were 4 meats on the go, beef, pork, gammon and turkey. Veg consisted of roast potatoes, mash, Brussels, carrots, cauliflower cheese, leaks, peas and parsnips. Gravy and the usual sides of cranberry sauce, apple sauce and horseradish. We enjoyed our meal, however the only comment was my daughter thought that the cheese in the cauliflower tasted like Wotsits!The price...£6.95 each. Would we go there again......Yes.
