The Station Hotel in Hambleton

Great pub/cafe/hotel a minute walk from the train station. If you miss your train and have a spare 30mins like we did today it’s a great place for a drink! Staff are amazing so friendly n welcoming, plus the locals are great too, very family friendly

I've been in a few times before, and always had great experience. The lady behind the bar was professional and friendly. The drinks and food we tremendous! All the team that was working that day were a delight! Highly recommended to anyone wanting Sunday lunch!

A traditional well cooked, tasty Sunday roast with plenty of veg. The cauliflower cheese was a super addition, lashings of yummy gravy, beef was a bit too thick but tasted good. Great service.

Called in here for Sunday lunch. Positives: food was lovely and reasonably priced. Negatives: service was terrible and the bar area smelled awful. Until the smell is resolved we won’t be returning.

I have been for afternoon tea 3 times now and every time its delicious regardless of the amount of people in your party. The quality and quantity of the food is fabulous with both a sweet and savoury option and any leftovers the staff are more than happy to provide take away boxes. The cost is only £11.50pp which is so cheap and super value for money. it seems not a lot of people know that they do afternoon tea here so I'm shouting about it. I've heard their Sunday lunches are also amazing....that's next on my list!

Friendly welcome from the landlord who doubles as waiter . We both went for the Yorkshire breakfast which is two of everything. Well cooked and presented with a goodly sized pot of tea all for £20, all in all good value for money.

I went to visit the station hotel for a sunday lunch with my family. I think we had the best Sunday lunch in our life. Super fresh and delicious! Highly recommend for everyone!

We have visited a couple times the service and the food is outstanding. My husband is a fussy ester but they cater for him very very well we also bring our cocker spaniel in occasionally and he is made to feel very welcome dog treats galore ! Everyone is friendly and attentive cost for what you get is fantastic we cannot recommend the Station hotel enough it is a must for Sunday roast or if you fancy something from the grill on a Friday night get yourself down there for a great meal. Also cakes and afternoon teas are not to be missed. Thank you to all at the Station Hotel

First class Mothers Day Sunday Lunch. Staff were attentive, Food was tasty and plentiful. The Afternoon Tea looked very good also. Well priced. All round top notch.

Have had a number of meals here and it comes highly recommended! Daily menu is all freshly cooked food, Sunday dinner is amazing and the Afternoon Tea was incredible value for money! Katie is so friendly and helpful, she makes the whole experience even more enjoyable, thank you for your efforts even when you are rushed off your feet!

La estación es realmente agradable, situado al lado de pub de la estación de tren, pero aún le falta el factor x que asegure un retorno. Los administradores parecen venir e irse con bastante regularidad, y a cualquier hora, es normalmente muy tranquilo. Una buena variedad de cervezas a precios razonables, con una trampa de sol de un pequeño jardín de cerveza al lado. El mobiliario no las más cómodas que he encontrado, y el pub tiene una sala de espera". Un lugar bastante bonito, pero sólo le falta algo.

Dada su ubicación, a pocos metros de la estación de tren, yo habría esperado este lugar muy concurrida. Era sorprendentemente tranquilo.

Mi novio y yo nos detuvimos para tomar un trago después de bajar del tren. tras la barra chica amable y nos sirvieron rápidamente. Ella y luego a la izquierda y un joven chico vino detrás de la barra para servir. Tuvimos una pinta cada uno y hablando a cada uno de los demás como hacer. Yo estaba a medio camino mi pinta cuando el joven chico vino y nos preguntó si habíamos terminado mi novio pero no me había pero luego nos sentimos como si estuviéramos en forma apresurada y el resto de mi bebida. Luego entonces recogieron los vasos. Esto era 8.00 pm! Había gente en el bar pedir bebidas! Por desgracia no volveré pero parecía un agradable pub y el menú parecían muy apetecible.

my son and his new wife Jaquie had there wedding meal there for 30 guests this is just opposite the registery so handy .can i thank the landlady landlord and all there staff for giving us a wonderful time the meal was great and the service second to none.thank you all so much i would recommend people try it...PETE SCOTT

Ya que este pub ha cambiado de manos que he estado muchas veces y nunca he tenido una mala comida. Como he dicho antes - hamburguesas de comida de pub, paninis, lasaña, etc. - pero de buena calidad. Hoy tuve una lasaña con pan de ajo y las patatas fritas y era precioso. El servicio era genial, como siempre, y la comida estaba muy bien en relación calidad-precio. No te dejes desanimar por sus anteriores propietarios, este lugar ha cambiado para mejor. Creo que estoy otra vez en un par de semanas!

Heading back to catch a train after a massively disappointing pint in the Durham Ox with miserable staff, the Station Hotel was the opposite. Clean, fresh, welcoming friendly staff and great selection of beer. This was a gem of a find. Highly recommended!!!

Como yo trabajo al lado de la carretera de la estación, es muy práctico. Al paso de los años, ha sido genial, crap, bueno y luego terrible. He oído que había cambiado de manos así que pensé que le daría una última prueba. Me reuní con mis padres (habían sido conmigo antes) y enseguida me dijeron que parecía mucho más limpio. La comida no ganan premios pero es sabrosa, y a un precio razonable. Tuve panini y patatas fritas y mis padres habían sándwiches con ensalada. La ensalada parecía fresco y apetecible. ya he vuelto con amigos y otra vez disfrutamos de la comida. Si se queda en este nivel que yo voy a ser un habitual.
