I would highly recommend this place this lady does Sunday dinners every week for people and delivers them they are amazing you get loads for your money and I have a fussy daughter who hardly eats buts eats all of her Sunday dinner great value for money highly recommend

I have just had the most amazing Beef Sunday dinner delivered to my door. Every part of it was home made, and you really could tell. The portion was generous, and I wasn’t left feeling hungry. The chocolate cake and custard was lovely too. I will definitely order again :)

Attended yesterday had a great breakfast even went back for a healthy lunch Jacket potato was Yummy service was 5 Stars with out doubt the best place to eat & drink in Eccles ,well done to you all .👏👏👏👏👏👏

Me and my friend went for lunch meeting, thinking it would be a proper bar with nice menu. I was surprised to find it like a cafe with limited choice of Food on Menu. You can make better sandwiches at home. Service was good but food was below my standards.

Service really great, friendly and family orientated. Great breakfast, great food all round. We’ve even Took the kids and they have loved it too.

Exelent frienly staff nothing was to much trouble Food was delicious and piping hot .and very clean surroundings .will call again when in the area deffo 5 star 🍺🍾🍰🥧

Cracking spot, I always stop in when I'm back home visiting family. Great value breakfasts, well kept beers and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

This place is a diamond in the rough....they don’t shout about the quality of their food or the brilliant customer service, they just do what they do with pride. Best breakfast in Eccles by far and the nicest of staff...ignore the 1 stars they are a vendetta. Jess, Paul and team you are doing a great job x

I come here all the time so am probably a bit biased but after reading dodgy reviews from people who only have one review is dodgy in its self. It’s not high end but good food at reasonable prices. As for the barmaid eating McDonald’s while taking an order, if it was chocolate or cake it would have been more believable. Great staff and great service.

So last month was the most horrifying experience of my life in the station bar, it was my 2nd visit to the warm and homely bar but this time will be my last. I had sat my children and husband down on the upper deck of the bar to order everyone’s meals and was next to be served by the bar lady. She was blonde and was busy on her feet, I asked for the tuna without mayo and was shocked to be told “you will eat it exactly how it’s given to you” so I questioned it and simply stated that my son was allergic to the sauce and she then asked me to order something g else if I wasn’t happy about it, so I bit my lip and ordered him a small breakfast. I was spoken too rather rudely and then, a tall bald man wearing under armour gym clothes brought our food over to the table. We was enjoying our family’s company only to be starred at by the 2 lady’s working on the bar all the way through our meal. And I feel ashamed to be writing such a comment but my husband then stumbled across something rather chilling! Underneath the radiator near our table was what at first looked like a piece of wood, but was in fact a RAT TRAP with a rat inside! We immediately told the barmaid and she then pushed me out of the way and picked it up fleeing the scene with the rat inside a Morrison’s bag! And when I asked to speak to the manager regarding a refund, I was told to get out of her bar and my children were scared and left me and my husband shocked to be swore at and shouted Infront of our babies! Luckily my husband managed to capture the crime scene on camera phone and that’s why I’m shamefully uploading this picture and comment today. The environmental health are on it after 3 weeks of talking on the phone and justice will served! The barmaid I later found out was Jessica, I hope your happy. Thank you for nothing “DO NOT EAT HERE!” - AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Really disgusted to be quite honest! Came for a nosey into eccles to see what we could stumble across and we found the station bar. Me and my little boy had ordered a drink from the bar and had a chat with the “rather rude” barmaid with blonde hair, who was eating McDonald’s on the bar while writing down my order on a slip! So we ordered our food and was seated on the bar facing the windows due to busy circumstances which I could understand. Our food came to the bar only to discover the bacon was raw and our toast had been drenched in oil. I addressed this to the barmaid and was told to leave the premises at once! I asked to speak to the manager and she told me she was the licensee of the premises and her name was jessima. She then called my son ginger and told me she would call the local authorities if I didn’t move my “fat ass” out of the bar.. so we left and never looked back. Really RUDE staff and I will not be returning again after the way jessima spoke to my son and me on my first and last visit to the station bar! The man below has been great with me as he told me that the business is run by only fools and horses who are known to cause trouble when questioned on the food if not satisfied! DONT EAT HERE! All staff was polite except the young man I believe to be the manager, he was rude and refused to change my food as it was served cold, it was my first time visiting the station bar and I definitely will not be returning due to the experience

Standard bar with standard food. Nothing special but has its regulars in the community. Not really my cup of tea

I was rescued by friends and whisked to Eccles after a swift and unexpected marital disaster and was lucky enough, on a daily mooch to stumble on The Station Bar. Eccles may not feature high up on many folks bucket list but if you find yourself in this rather careworn Lowryish town please go to the place and its' relation, The Top House, I doubt you will be disappointed. These are honest, friendly places staffed by enthusiastic people and stuffed with characters who like to chat (even with strange creatures like me). Drinks are ridiculously well priced and meals are fresh and delicious without a distant echo of a microwave ping. Both are a short mooch from the train station and offer tables and chairs to watch the world go by from. Rarely in my life have I found such kinship and thoughtfulness given so freely and generously as I have experienced in this Northern Star.

I love it here. I work nearby and get my dinner to take away from here pretty much everyday. Today, me and my better half had time to sit in to eat. The staff are always friendly, it’s very clean and tidy, the food is very well priced and the portions are generous. Can’t ask for more, keep up the good work!

When i first visited this place i gave a bad review as i thought ythe people there and the atmosphere were not great. Went again today, met the owner who was a pleasant bloke. Things have improved since my last visit for the better.

The Station Bar is a fantastic addition to Eccles town centre. Quality food and drinks at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended

I know the family who run this pub and they are very friendly and accommodating! The only downside is that it's a cash only establishment but there are many banks within a 5 minute walking distance

Went there today for the first time and really impressed. The staff couldnt be more helpful and the food was freshly cooked and good value. I've now got a new favourite cafe and would highly recommend it to anyone

Me sorprendió gratamente en la entrada muy limpio. El ambiente era relajado. El personal del bar muy educado. Televisión en las paredes estaban bien y no eran altas en volumen. Pedimos la comida del menú sencillo pero delicioso. Tuve plateados ensalada de carne con el fin de lado de patatas fritas y patatas fritas Hamburguesa hija tenía y tengo que añadir que no escatiman en las porciones. Almuerzo en relación calidad-precio. Sin embargo puedes conseguir desayunos todo el día, de nuevo a través de la gente que conozco que vienen aquí a la hora del desayuno, las raciones son deliciosos y abundantes. Así que si quieres un hotel barato pero no basura, un bocado o un animado desayuno luego del vientre por favor el bar estación de una turbina.

Estado viniendo aquí durante años después de mi abuela me introdujo en el ayuntamiento, me encanta el desayuno aquí nunca grasienta y siempre cocinada tan barato, puedes pagar mucho más en otros lugares y es una basura y siempre me dan tanto queso cottage! No ha sido por un tiempo en duda debido a una visita

Visitamos hoy aquí. Muy limpio y ordenado. bar Sólo una libra por una pinta de zumo de naranja fresco y menos de 4 libras para un desayuno inglés completo. Yo podía ver la cocina donde la comida estaba siendo preparada. Y estaba impecablemente limpio. Los ingredientes se puede decir no son alternativas sino barato de alta calidad. Incluso los condimentos. Sobre todo, no se puede pedir mucho más de buena calidad, limpio y un gran ambiente. Sin duda lo recomiendo como ya he. 5 estrellas.

Fácil acceso para dj de configurar, personal cálido y amable, todos dispuestos a ayudar. Un placer estar allí. Excelente selección de comida y refrescos. Altamente recomendado como lugar de fiesta.

Have travel here a couple of times while over for Man Utd match. Very friendly staff, well kept and clean pub. Great atmosphere and banter in the place

Went in by myself and was made to feel welcome. Ordered a jacket potato and a cup of coffee. Really enjoyed it and was reasonably priced.

Very nice family run café bar, spotlessly clean & friendly.Daily papers, value for money food & ample portions also with sporting TV & music that suits the place.Seating at front that is attractive & comfortable also great coffee.Wine is always nicely chilled in sparkling clean glasses & a very nice visit every time I go either for breakfast, lunch or just chilling with friends.I thoroughly recommend .

New place in Eccles located in the main street. The atmosphere there differ from the typical English Pubs scattered about Eccles. There are some pictures from movies on the wall and there is no carpet on the floor!!!Whether you want to drink a pint or just enjoy a coffee with a muffin, you can come in sit there and enjoy while good music is played. You would be able to watch football inside, but they, very cleverly, leave some music on. Depending where you are seating you would be able to listen the game or the music.
