Nice pub to watch the racing and footy on a Saturday afternoon. Landlords and staff are friendly.

Popped in for a drink and ending up staying for more. Lovely pub with a great friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back next time we are in Redcar.

Visited a couple of times while we were up on holiday in August from Bognor. When we first walked in we both looked at each other and said "What The Hell" as the band was on The Thunderbirds, they were in the middle of signing"Nana, Nana, Nana Batman". We bought a drink and the band were brilliant. The staff were very friendly and also the customers. They all loved my wife's southern accent and we had a great time. The band a few days later not so good "David Bowie". Next time I'm up in North East I'll definitely be calling in. We didn't eat there, but that's only because I didn't realise they do food. I know for next time.

If you like loud music this is the place for you. We had to move into the lounge so we could talk to each other. Staff and beers were good. Pity they didn't serve food.

We are locals and enjoy a few drinks on a Friday night after a busy week.Tonight was the worst Friday we have ever experienced in there.The staff turned a blind eye to vaping, bad language, unruly children and drunken women. A 5 year old child who was encouraged by parents, approached us with a bucket asking for money! The children were playing football and riding bikes throughout the pub.The parents were so loud we couldn’t have a conversation. We witnessed people moving into the bar and some elderly people abandoned their drinks and actually left. How dare you allow this to happen? We felt abused by these disgusting people and staff were happy to allow this behaviour. This needs reporting to the brewery and introducing zero tolerance behaviour rules. Get it sorted Mr Manager!

No food now. Empty pub. Dreadful music. Zero atmosphere. What have they done to this former busy, lively gastro pub ? Spent a fortune on it and ruined it! 😂 All the lovely friendly, smiley, chatty staff have all gone (or left 🤔) now. Dull and boring visit. No vibe at all. And omg the music, 🙉🙉🙉! !

Great quiz and a lot nicer since the refurbishment of the main bar area. Toilets haven't been refurbed though and are desperately in need of it. It would finish the pub off very nicely 👌

Had a meal with daughter today day ordered chicken curry chips ok, nan bread nice but curry isn't its a sauce very disappointing, spoilt the meal. Pot on my daughters meal, not real pot just mash. Be going else where need to improve, charging for meals. For rubbish curry sauce u would expect a real curry. Not sauce.

Amazing food, homemade chips are 10/10!! Parmo was perfect!! Service was excellent, really polite bar lady/waitress with black hair. (Sorry didn't get her name) I was very happy with the prices too.

Great local pub with friendly staff.

Lovely, good quality meals at very reasonable prices. Elsewhere lasagne is served with a choice of garlic bread and salad or chips but these had all of them. Chips were gorgeous! Only dropped a star due to not having veggie parmo or veggie burger available so limited choice for vegetarians.

Nice pub - very nice home cooked food - had mince and dumplings - small portion -it was huge - tasted really good - god knows what the large portion is like🥴 plenty of parking - prices really good - would go again - decent menu

Rough and ready pub in Redcar that does delicious food at cheap prices. Can't complain much to be honest. I had the parmo and cleaned my plate! Plenty of parking outside too and convenient if you need a pint of milk on the way home as Aldi is directly opposite. 😀

Great lads and decent prices with a good atmosphere, only gripe is rooms at different levels so steps mean not as accessible as it could be.

I had gamon steak with pineapple chips and pea's you help yourself to the knife & forks they offered it with egg but I had egg at lunch so did not have the egg the gamon was 8 oz the people at the bar where helpfull and patient with me the price for the gamon was £7 50p

Good location plenty of parking split into different levels. Senisble prices. Out door area aswell. Did nt try the food but they were busy so must be good. Would recommend

I've lived round the corner from this pub my entire life and it's a lovely pub. Staff are always very helpful and a good laugh. I'd recommend the parmo, chips, salad and garlic. Hot shots my favourite 😎
