Love visiting here the staff are great and so is the food

Looking forward to when the star reopens on 16 May after the major refurbishment!!

Great pub, visited today the manager was banging on about a refurb that happens from tomo,, can't wait to come see it

Come here all the time always good food and good service staff are all ways friendly

Always have a lovely experience when visiting the staff are always so friendly and nothing is ever to much trouble at all, food is always good and James is always a credit to talk to and his customer service is great

Dined here on Easter Sunday, we were met with “half the menu missing” as apparently they were closing for a refurbishment We purchased X4 Sunday dinners. We were served Bernard Mathew’s turkey rashers for out roast Turkey, and the Mash Potatoe was no bigger than a table spoon full. For £10 a plate it was absolutely shocking. .

Had a lovely meal with friends here today. Wait times were not too bad and the food was delicious. Prices are good for what you get and the staff are fantastic, we were served by Tori and James who were very polite and ensured we had all we need. Would gladly come here again and certainly will in the future. Update 20/04/2025 - went again, same as before I had a lovely experience. Kim and Louise were fantastic.

Went to this pub with a friend for lunch it’s not near the town or any other area of interest and there’s ample street parking which is why I didn’t think twice about using the car park, I was unaware that it is now run by a parking company so I have now received a £100 fine thanks for that hungry horse I will not recommend or use you facilities again.

Despite not living in Gillingham, this has fast become our “not so local” haunt over the last 12 months and love coming here thanks to the excellent food “Nachos to die for!” as my partner says - but wishes you’d bring back the Battered Halloumi! Love the banter I can have with the staff and the team always make us always feel welcome :-)

Food was very good. First time here will come again. Kids are more than welcome. Staff are brilliant. Jame was great bar staff great too. Good choice on healthy food if wanted. Very happy.

2 words - Wine Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! £7.99 for a bottle of pretty decent Sauvignon - I only get a Wednesday once every 5 weeks so this is my go to place. That's not the only thing that attracts me to this fantastic pub, having a bar and restaurant separated with the bar being over 18's only isn't something you see in many places and is a godsend if you just want a quiet pint without kids running about. Works the other way for families in the restaurant!!!! Place is always clean and tidy, bar staff are amazing and background music is at a good level. Plenty of TV's showing sport. Food is very good. A Sunday roast with a pint for £11 is very good value. Keep doing what you are doing guys!!!

Lovely food I had the flatbread breakfast really really yummy and a nice change from normal standard breakfasts. And my partner had the egg Benedict waffles really lovely also with the brekfast cornflakes chicken that was really surprising yummy 😋 and of course our 10month old loved her treat of fruit and ice cream. We will definitely visit again I wish I had taken some photos as it looked as good as it tasted
