We were passing by on a walk from the nearby Eastrington Ponds nature reserve and called in for a drink and a snack. It has a lovely outside courtyard, a well-stocked shop and a shed with fresh produce. The tea and coffee were fine , but one of us being a Coeliac asked what was available Gluten Free and was offered a vegan sausage roll, this a serious lack of knowledge for a caterer with health implications for customers. I hope they are able to learn from today's conversation.

We booked a table for my birthday and sat outside in as it was a beautifully sunny day. We ordered a latte each instead of tea and were told we could have as many refills as we’d like. When the food was served it arrived on a vintage 3 tier stand, was freshly made, presented beautifully and tasted absolutely amazing! Sitting on the top was a birthday candle and we were given matching napkins! Even the glasses of water were far from ordinary, filled with fresh fruit and a straw The service was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and attentive, checking throughout that we had everything we needed. We had a really lovely afternoon and I was even given a mini bottle of Prosecco to take home as a gift! We have visited several times since for coffee, cake and savouries, all which have been freshly baked and to very high standard. If you haven’t already visited this Cafe/shop you don’t know what you are missing… get yourself there, you will not be disappointed. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Well done to The Stamp House team… keep up the good work!

The outside courtyard is a real suntrap and is a great place to sit for a drink and a cake. Great cake and brilliant service, what more can you want? We didn't eat a meal but food delivered to other guests looked fantastic.

My husband and I visited after seeing a special offer on their face book page. That day it was £20 for afternoon tea and a bottle of Prosecco, usually £30. A bargain even and the full price. We sat outside under a brolly as it’s a very sunny patio. The table was beautifully laid out for our arrival ( but you don’t have to book you can just turn up ) The food was absolutely wonderful, all freshly made on site and superbly presented. Ice bucket for the wine. The friendly efficient service was first class. I’ve had afternoon teas in many places but this was the best presented, best for the taste and unbelievable value for money . So we had another bottle!

Stuck a pin in a ( google) map to find a breakfast one hour away from leaving holiday accommodation. What a find. Interesting decor showed off the home made cakes and savouries whilst we waited a few minutes for a table. Breakfast avocado with poached eggs on sourdough bread, sun dried tomatoes, chorizo and pea shoots was divine and substantial. Staff were friendly and obviously enjoyed serving and cooking as much as we enjoyed eating. Make a detour. Worth every mile and every penny.

A gem of a cafe, lovely staff, quality food. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even making up a takeaway salad box and a sandwich to be collected later. Plus the cafe is dog friendly....

We visited over Easter and loved all the little chocolate eggs hidden around the cafe - kept the kids entertained whilst they waited for their food! Lovely cafe with a great menu. We ordered a range of different food but loved the halloumi burger and cheeseburger especially. It’s great that dogs are allowed in this cafe but as we don’t own a dog, even better that there are two areas - one for dogs and one where dogs aren’t allowed. Service was quick and with a smile, reasonably priced too for restaurant quality food. The only improvement needed is the toilet area - could do with a update!

I don’t often go into bakery shops but we were visiting Driffield today and spotted that there was a small seating area inside at the front of the shop and a larger area further in. We were ready for coffee and a snack The shop is obviously very popular as I had to join the queue but it gave me the opportunity to look at what was on offer. Vastly superior quality to what is available in other chain bakery shops and very well priced. I don’t eat bread but the sandwiches were definitely calling to me!😹
