Lovely place with rare small batch ciders. Really enjoyed it.

Went to the stable for bottomless brunch on the Saturday. Food was amazing, you get a selection of tater tots, garlic bread, nachos and a pizza each. We opted to upgrade to cocktails as the bottomless bubbles were quite hard to drink and our waitress was extremely attentive, she offered me new drinks as soon as I came close to finish mine and never once had to call her over or wait for our drinks. Girl, if you read this, imma need your number cause damn 😂 I was steaming when we left the venue, hahah

Ideal for a bite to eat pre-gig at the Utilita. Lovely pizzas and craft beer and ciders. Ordering was easy via the QR code and despite our server saying there was a 20 minute delay on food, it came really quickly. Nice busy atmosphere too. Highly recommended.

Absolutely terrible! Got told to order on via QR code or at the bar what happened table service ? When we did manage to order via QR food took over 45 minutes to arrive just for two pizza and tots. The tots were rock hard tasteless, then pizza where medicore at best barely no topping and no flavour. Considering you say your pizza place think you need go back drawing board or train your staff. I've had better pizza from supermarket. Overall poor service and poor quality food.

great for ciders But for food it was a Bad service - was continuously being ignored, food came in an hour, no water served.

Dinner at The Stable in Cardiff was something I was looking forward to. However, we left feeling not “full up” as the food seemed cheaply made. For example, a classic margarita pizza was paper thin. It seems like The Stable Cardiff were attempting to save money on dough. Atmosphere wise, you’re able to have a good conversation however I would not recommend letting them seat you near the door due to it being freezing cold. Asking for tap water resulted in the waiter telling us we had to fetch our own from a tap. Thankfully he did decide to bring over a jug and some glasses.

staff were wonderful and very kind. the pizza was huge and absolutely worth paying a little extra than some of the smaller joints around. the toppings were amazing and they definitely didn't cut back. i had a pepperoni pizza and added some mushrooms on top (that were huge and delicious) and my dad had the meat feast one. both were amazing and we had a cider to go with it. very good ciders would definitely recommend just for those. will be back!

3 pizzas between the 3 of us. Toppings varied across the 3 wildly. Hawaiian pizza perfect, Aubergine Kenobi too sparsely populated and the BFC having way too much mayo and not enough chicken.

Sadly, I have to leave a negative review. The service was awful and made us feel very uncomfortable. We tried to speak to staff about our wait and missing items and they were not helpful. I will not be returning.

Great location opposite the Cardiff International Arena (or whatever it's called these days!). Good choice of gluten free pizzas and ciders. The young man behind the bar gave us a taste of a couple of ciders as we were unsure what to have, which was nice! Staff gave me a small box to put my remaining slices of pizza in, which I had for lunch the next day! 😋 Good price not expensive. Toilets are up the stairs.

Great food and choice for gluten free/coeliac people, cider tasters also good idea. Great service from our waiter Kester also needs a mention.

I visited The Cardiff Stable with family and friends as part of my daughter's hen party celebrations. Tizzy was so helpful right from the initial contact to the event itself. We held our party on the mezzanine above the main restaurant and everything was set up ready for our arrival and we were allowed to bring some decorations too. The pizza buffet was delicious, the drinks were chilled and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you all for your help in making this such a special event for my daughter.

Nice pizzas, but that's not hard to find nowadays. What drew me here was the great selection of cider! H owever they were "sold out" of the taster boards and drinking half pints worked out a lot more expensive than pints. Shame really because I think the point of these sort of places is trying lots of different drinks. Overall not bad but not great. I'll never understand why places charge over half the price for half a pint.

Fancied a pizza and called in on a quiet Monday evening. A warm welcome and excellent service. The pizza was fresh, hot and tasty. What’s not to like! Many thanks to Cosmin and Oldham for making the visit so enjoyable

Don’t bother wasting your time. Staff are clueless without any attention to customer service. Sat there for an hour without even realising food order had gone through. Asked for a refund and got the rudest attitude back at me. Stay away.

Very good food, there were a few different pizza options that aren't the usual ones. Nice selection of ciders. Had to ask how to order but the lad behind the bar who took our order was very nice. Enjoyed our lunch & would definitely go back.

No atmosphere, minimal staff interaction, went in early afternoon and had sat down, encouraged by staff to use app to order, couple of other individuals sat around, but no real atmosphere, music suited a cocktail bar/club more than a pizza restaurant with West Country heritage. Ordered via app, but then starter and main for child turned up with the rest of the meal, and nachos had obviously been left under the heat lamp for everything else. A shame as I’ve really enjoyed past visits. Also it did feel when the staff were cleaning around the ground floor that although there are things that can be done, there are parts of the kitchen or upstairs. Doubt I’ll be back anytime soon unfortunately.

Pizza was very thin and a bit expensive

Located on the lower two floors of a modern office block, this is another outlet from the West country cider and pizza specialists, and whilst it inevitable doesn’t have much in the way of style or ambience, it nonetheless had a bit of a buzz about it, and there was of course an extensive cider selection which is always a plus point. I opted for the “Burger on the Dance Floor” with beef, bacon, cheddar cheese, caramelised onions, gherkins and burger sauce. Overall I’d say it was pretty good, not quite as tasty as it could have been perhaps, and some more topping would have been better, but overall it was a pretty decent effort and served by friendly staff in a reasonable time frame. A desert of Biscoff cheesecake slightly missed the mark I thought, there was nothing really wrong with it, but the Biscoff didn’t seem especially noticeable. Worth a visit though, and if you don’t fancy the long communal benches downstairs, there are also smaller tables upstairs.

Stopped off here for food before a show we didn’t have much time but was greeted and seated straight away ordered by app Order didn’t take to long drinks came followed by pizza which was nice overall nice place friendly welcoming staff and good pizza nice selection of drinks.

As soon as we came in, the service was unfriendly and didn’t pay attention to us. After waiting for 45 mins the food came without any cutlery. The restaurant didn’t get cleaned for ages. All in all, it wasn’t worth it paying money. I would definitely not recommend it.

Amazing pizza and cider and prices are good

We booked out the whole restaurant for a corporate lunch event. Tizzy was amazing from the beginning - helping to work out the appropriate food and drink pre-order and then ensuring the event ran smoothly. Drinks reception was ready for arrival and food kept coming at a steady pace. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed a lovely dinner and shared a Feelin' Cluckie pizza and a portion of Nearly Naked Tater Tots and it was very tasty. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Would visit again.

We went as a family group - mixed age range. The ordering app didn’t work, so had to go to the bar to order and were largely ignored by the large number of staff. The food came and was ok but not amazing. Couldn’t be bothered to bring any cutlery even when we asked. We had some shared starters, one drink and one pizza each and paid £30 per head. Disappointing.

Great pizzas and beers, service was a little slower than normal but great food and a nice relaxed room.

Food was ok. The Green macaroni cheese seemed to be lacking peas and spring onions and could have been more cheesy. Nachos were on the small side. We also had to wait 49mins for the food.

Incredible gluten free pizza, with so many choices. Honestly the best GF pizza we have had. Really quick service, friendly staff and overall a great place. Really enjoyed our visit, will definitely be calling again soon

Tasty pizzas, good sides, and some very nice draft beer and cider. If you’re in Cardiff this is definitely worth your time! The staff were also very friendly and this spot is dog friendly which is great!

It was OK. Nice crispy base with a decent topping. Worth a visit. Long time since I've got worked up about a pizza place and this is no exception. It's ok. No waitress/waiter service. You have to order at the bar. Nice to see they do bag in the box cider too. Not too keen on the long table /benches either. Reminds me of school dinners.

Great time. Great for groups but go early to avoid massive stags and hen groups. A lovely pizza indeed, most authentic in a long time. Great atmosphere, most probably due to the (almost) bottomless drinks. Note that cocktails will cost more and be aware that the the service is not super speedy to stop you drinking the place dry. But if you're an average drinker it is perfect.

Came here as part of a large group. Was very glad to be accommodated despite not having a booking. Great range of beers, including gluten free options. The options for pizza toppings were amazing, such a great variety. We waited over 40 minutes for our food which was understandable as we were a group of 10. The waitress was apologetic, saying there was only one chef working and offered a free drink each, which was good of her. My gluten free vegetarian pizza was definitely worth the wait, one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Would definitely recommend.

We stopped there for the Pizza which was excellent but loved their goat cheese salad! Best salad I’ve had in ages. The pizza crust is an excellent hand tossed sourdough. The drinks are great and the staff was very nice.

I had a a mixed experience. The food was very good and very high standards. However when we first arrived they made us sit outside despite the cold because we "had not made a reservation". I thought this was a bit odd since the restaurant was empty. The pizza took forty five minutes to arrive, however they allowed us to sit inside away from the cold given that their tables were empty.

Looking for somewhere to eat pre-concert. Cardiff was v busy so didn't hold out much hope. Lots of outside seating which was non bookable - great! Ordered food inside and was fairly warned that there would be a 45 minute wait for food due to how busy they were. Not a problem. Food arrived on time and was not bad at all considering how many pizzas they were putting out. Well organised generally. Will go back to give it a try at a less busy time. Could be a 5?!

Pineapple was off on pizza and took hours and chef was not interested

Managed to fit us in around the Ed Sheehan Concert bookings. Pizzas were lovely, cheesy garlic bread was a winner, more than enough to fill you. Couldn’t eat it all! Nice atmosphere.

The pizzas are very authentic and delicious, and they give interesting toppings, and give the order extremely fast. Will go there again xx

Went for pre show pizzas and drinks. Nice venue, friendly staff. Pizza toppings were fantastic but the tater tots suffered from being oven baked instead of fried, making them less crispy-mini hash-brown goodness and more soggy and stodgy. Super thin and crispy pizza base was okay. My personal preference is for something a little softer. Was more like a cracker than a pizza for me. Reasonably priced and would probably go again before a show.

Me and the partner went to this place for the first time, it was a Saturday night and surprisingly food was quick, tasty and filling! My other half loved the cider tasting board, I'm a lager/ale drinker and it would be great if they did something similar for those not cider inclined. Very happy with the meal and the atmosphere, would definitely visit again!

Food 7/10 Customer service 5/10 Outdoor seating great in the sun, but apart from the friendly service when ordering the customer service was non-existant. The pizza was nice, but the options limited somewhat and left you wanting. I tried a new cider and while it wasn't for me, it was my fault so not included in the overall scoring.

I have been twice now by myself as i work away sometimes. Both times they have had issues with getting the food out relatively quickly. 40mins for a pizza is fairly long. Although larger groups that arrived after got served first. Menu's are written in incredibly small writing. Especially the cider list. Actual 1st pizza was glorious called the hen party. 2nd pizza called blazing saddle would have been nice if it wasnt for the herb drizzle. The herb drizzle was effectively salad cream. Ruined it really. Staff a mix of a little aloof and friendly. It could be easily better than the 2 stars.

The atmosphere is great. Food was great but service is slow. Server from a different section came to check on us after noticing pizza boards and cutters stacking. Our server came to check on us twenty minutes later. Twenty minutes after that was our refills. I heard good things about this place so I'll give it another try at some point, but all four of us left feeling like an afterthought to be honest.

Was feeling super hungry and with various allergies I'm super fussy. Saw this place, was like hallelujah no cheddar on pizza. Seriously cannot eat cheddar. So I ordered a basic mozzarella and it was lush. So much lovely stretchy cheese. I also checked out the toilets and they were very nice, the only note being maybe better lighting is needed.
