Jini Pizza Restaurant in Cardiff

Extremely disappointed with my recent experience. The masala fish was overcooked and lacked flavor. To make matters worse, my order was incomplete, missing a crucial portion. When I brought this to the staff's attention, they were dismissive, unhelpful and pathetic. The staff member Naveed,the attitude was unprofessional and disgusting. Avoid this place at all costs, couldn't recommend.

See the photo of water filled order left by driver on the floor outside my door. They didn’t bother to knock or ring bell despite my full address and uber one member for so long. I am reporting a serious concern regarding my order from Jini Pizza, delivered through Uber Eats. Upon receiving the delivery, I found the following issues with the food: 1. Compromised Packaging: The pizza box was torn and not securely enclosed in a delivery bag, leaving the food exposed to the elements. 2. Exposure to Rain: As a result of the damaged packaging, the pizza was soaked with rainwater, rendering it unfit for consumption. Due to the poor condition in which the food arrived, I am concerned that the food may have been mishandled or purposely tampered with by either the restaurant or the delivery driver. The compromised state of the packaging raises concerns about the hygiene and safety of the food. I am requesting a full refund for this order and ask that strict action be taken to address this issue. Proper delivery practices, including secure packaging, should be enforced to avoid any future incidents. I also request that a thorough investigation be conducted to ensure that no deliberate tampering occurred.

I CAME TO THIS PLACE TODAY ODERED A LAMB KEEMA AND DAAL CURRY. THE KEEMA WAS A TAKEAWAY WHEN THE BILL CAME THE OWNER CHARGED ME £24.00 ALL I HAD WAS THE KEEMA AND 2 NANS. I WAS IN A HURRY THEN REALISED I HAD BEEN OVERCHARGED I CALLED THE SHOP AND THE OWNER TOLD ME HE CHARGED ME £12.00 FOR A SMALL CONTAINER WHERE OTHERS CHARGE £6.00 ON TOP HIS PRICE LISTING IS SHADY AS THEY DO NOT HAVE PRICES FOR HALF THE PRODUCTS. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AGAIN THEY ARE VERY KEEN ON OVERCHARGING

Utter terrible experience guys at the till kept lying about timings. They even screwed up our order after waiting an hour and was £55 rubbish. The workers there are also lazy they can’t be arsed grabbing the card machine too I would avoid

Definitely different (in a good way) to other takeout style pizzas. Jinis does lots of cheese and they don't skimp out on the tomato sauce, lots of other takeout places hardly have any sauce in their pizzas. The price was veryy reasonable as well. They took card but prefer if you can pay with cash.

I did not get my order. The driver sent it to another address. He also did not call me. I would like a refund plus the deliver charge of additional £4.00.

All the chips were loose in the bag. Both pizzas were squished all the way to the side of the box and attached to the box. My kids were starving and they absolutely would not eat the food in this state. We are furious.

I ordered the chicken masala, a chicken strip burger, some chips and a mango lassi. The food was served relatively quickly and was piping hot, the chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the chicken masala tasted fresh and spicy, and to top it all off, the mango lassi was thick and sweet, but not too sweet to the point it tasted artificial. Would 100% recommend.

Pizza had been put on side during delivery so all the toppings had gathered to edge of pizza box

We order from Jinnis because they’re recommended and food tastes good but today the pizzas were tasteless and the chips were the worst ones we’ve ever had from anywhere - overcooked and hard. Waste of £18

Keep in mind that to these guys service means giving you your food. Look beyond any expectations you may have about service and the pizza here is really off the hook. I've had pizza here over a dozen times. Not once has it been bad. Its always been fantastic. Yes they drop the plates and sauce like they don't care but the food they do, is so good. They make great naan and the curry is also good but the pizza is unmatched. I'm a hot n spicy guy but whatever you get, it will be very good. I love this place. No frills and no pretence. Old school attitude, great pizza. All halal. Long live Jini's. Order in person and eat in cos the food will be steaming hot.

The pizza was soggy and it wasn’t cut properly. It was smudged and didn’t taste fresh and crunchy. We always order from here due to the quality of the pizza but yesterday was a total disappointment. We usually get a dip with the pizza didn’t have it this time.

I made the order at 17:20 and received the order 16:40 over an hour late, and the food is cold it must've been setting in the restaurant waiting for a driver. Once picked from the restaurant, the driver did good delivering my food. The problem is i think the food was ready and waiting in the restaurant for too long that's why it is cold

I had the awful experience ever. The staff charged us different price from what it was in the menu he thought we are tourists. I would it recommend it at all they took ages to prepare the food.

Excellent food and service. Not a fine dining style restaurant, but worth the trip every time. The pizza the wings and that Chai 😋 ***update.....*** If you fancy home cooked curry style dishes this is definitely the go to place if your in Cardiff. Not many punjabi food joints in the city. A definate YES 😁👌👍

Never order noodles! Ordered ve noodles and they gave me a non- veg one and when I confronted the owner he wasn't accepting it.

Awful service. Went in to order poppadoms and first staff member said yes no problem and then another member of staff assuming the owner turned around saying no they don’t have poppadoms becasue he clearly couldn’t be bothered to fry them and thought I won’t be ordering anything else. The food here is tasteless and bland! Would never recommend this place to anyone! Also lots of dirty bin bags in their back with a very rotten horrible smell! Needs a very deep clean.

Called restaurant 45 minutes after order to ask where it is, owner said it would arrive in 10 minutes. Called back 15 minutes later and owner said they just left. Owner refused to give their name when asked.

First time this has happened to me. When I called the restaurant to ask why my food was so late, they were so rude and said ‘would you like to cancel the order?’ Like, how dare you!?
