arrived here looking to order a pizza, 3 guys behind the counter just chatting amongst themselves, completely ignoring me for 10 mins and then finally took my order, said it would be a certain time, it took even longer and when it did arrive it was very average, do yourself a favour and go the Square and Compass for Pizza, they are much better and the staff are nice.

Dare I say the pearl of Tom’s field? Camped for 2 nights & woke up both mornings excited to eat here. Connor is the friendliest chap I’ve ever met and rocks a fish apron like no other. Very scrummy egg rolls, beautifully coloured yolks & fried to perfection. The coffee is also great (none of the naff espresso stuff - good percolator coffee) and if you’re lucky, you’ll get a free refill or two… value for money is a rare thing these days but you definitely get it here. Connor is also very accommodating when you are lazy and oversleep - served us at 9:50am (breakfast bar shuts at 10am). The breakfast bar itself is lovely & decorated very nicely. Wish we had stayed over the weekend & tried these famous pizzas everyone else is on about… but never say never. Thank you Connor & Cat, and best of luck for the future - I hope you get as famous as Greggs (but never buy a dishwasher)

If you are camping at Tom's Field and wondering how on earth you are going to cook the kids pizza for tea, this is your saviour. If you've come back from the pub slightly tiddly and can't be fagged to cook, this is your saviour. If you are tired of the 9 to 5 and want to see a different way of life, Connor and Cat will guide you as they serve up the best pizza I've tasted in years.

I had been hearing good things from people in the know about how good the pizza is that is being served up at this hidden away gem and wasn't disappointed. Thin , crispy, stacked with locally sourced produce and quickly cooked to order by Connor and his team it is tempting to keep this place a secret but what the heck, I'm going to tell everyone to make the trip.

Popped in for some late lunch, food was ok and a nice pint of Madri. Staff didn’t engage much, which was a bit odd.

Was our favourite but changes are not for the better. I ended up with no meal because of mess up. Not good - would like conversation with management. I think there will be a downturn in custom starting with me!

We were recommended to come here, it’s small limited seating- we’re lucky to get a seat by the window. Good quality, freshly cooked, no nonsense breakfast. What’s not to like.

This is the place to go for a pastie, a pint and a piece of Dorset Apple cake with ice cream. Don't expect fine dining or a wide ranging menu, but if you want a pit stop, comfort food and a fabulous view then this is it. Parking is just up the road in the village car park.
