What a smashing friendly boozer. Decent pint of ale as well.

The Spread Eagle is a traditional street corner community pub. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There is a good range of beers larger and cider, including cask conditioned hand-pulled real ales. The cask ales were excellent when i called in. There is a pool table and the pub is dog friendly. Highly recommended.

Called for a real ale. Tried a pint of vocation brewery bread and butter. Proper locals pub.

The owners of this establishment could not give a toss what their bar staff get up to with the customers. What an absolutely disgusting pub

A large friendly pub with several TV's showing sports. There are about 5 hand pumps available, but only 3 were active on my last visit. I tried the Great Newsome and the Wold Top, which were on good form. Certainly worth revisiting.
