Good gin selection and the staff are great

Beer flat and tables full of glasses. Needs a dedicated member of floor staff

The Spread Eagle is a lovely pub and restaurant that is part of the Vintage Inns pub group. Unfortunately the food is very average and overpriced, for what is basically pub chain grub, but at a price that you would expect to pay for proper cooked from scratch food. A real shame.

My first ever visit to the Spread Eagle. Never had any food but the draught Bass was first class! Service was exemplary. We sat outside in beautiful sunshine. An excellent pub! Highly recommended! Definitely will be back to sample the food menu.

Had the home made pie ! It was delicious - love the mini dessert and coffee - food/ service excellent as always - will bee back

Great pub with an excellent choice of well kept real ales. The guest beers are changed regularly. Friendly smiling staff who make you feel welcome. Proper drinking pub, not many around now.

A good pub with some good pints on offer. Nice and clean with decent toilets. Ceiling was ridiculously low in parts though.

Quality pub that keeps getting better

The real ale is kept very well. Citra, Pedigree, Jaipur, Tim Taylor Landlord and Bass. A good evening had👍

A traditional village pub selling a great range of traditional ales all in perfect condition plus the added bonus of outstanding service. Well worth a visit with the added bonus of a bus stop outside.

What, a pub that doesn't serve food?

Good drink and they even allowed us to eat fish and chips in their garden which we purchased from nearby chip shop. Not many places allow that!

Very friendly pub situated in a nice quiet village. The staff here always have a smile for you and plenty of seating outside for those hot days you just need a beer.

Large outdoor area for summer drinking. If you're over 6 feet tall watch your head on the beams in this old tavern. Good choice of ales, seems popular with the locals.

Nice friendly, old-school pub, pool table, darts, electronic jukebox, and plenty of seating. It loses 1 star due to having a cash only bar. In 2018 i expect contactless payment or at the very least card payments to be available.

Nice lively pub but old style, good staff and barman -no faults got served straight away, Etwall is an old village full of ancient wells.
