Unfortunately, my food order was 20 minutes late - driver was dismissive of the lateness and rude. When I asked him what I could do about the lateness, he was dismissive and stated he could take the food back if that was my choice. I did not want him to return the food, I just wanted an explanation and apology. Sadly he offered neither. I did ask for his name but he refused, which was disappointing. Not a great experience for a first time order with spice master.

I order a chicken tikka starter, chicken tikka Main, mushrooms rice, chips and poppadoms. I received instead plain rice and no poppadoms. The meal was cold. Tomatoes and onion salad was not included. Plus there was a service charge that was not mention at the time of ordering. Not sure what the service charge was for , because I collected. Plus a charged for paper bag. I understand the prices going up I don't understand the standard of the food going down. I will not be ordering from spicemaster again.

They lie. Simple. I asked to pay over phone by card but they refused card payment. Tax man should look into as they want cash only. Parts of order were then missing which we discovered after they had left with the cash. They then refused to refund the cash and said bank transfer only ! Scammers.

food arrived freezing cold and more and more potato seems to be getting added to the curry every week to bulk it up.. THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE.. The food is great here so I will give one more chance to see if this can be corrected before I use another takeaway. Not happy at all.

Ordered via Just Eat, at 6:55pm for a delivery at 8:15pm. That time came and went, so at 8:30pm used the help system on Just eat and the restaurant text me saying it would now be delivered at 8:45pm. That’s fine, we will wait till then, that time came and went. So at 9pm I requested a refund through Just Eat as this was nearly an hour delay and we ate food at home instead. 9:05pm the driver turns up, I explained I didn’t want the food as I had requested a refund due to the delay, he didn’t apologise, he just said they had been busy and he didn’t know about the time delay. The restaurant then got in contact and said they would not be refunding me as they were extremely busy last night. Poor service, will never use again, shame as it’s in our local. Thankfully, Just Eat were great and professional and have refunded me.

Food was delivered on time and for the most part tasted good, however in one of the parathas there was a small piece of blue plastic. I requested a refund for this item only and wanted to avoid writing a negative review, but the refund was refused as the order wasn’t ’showing as delivered’ when I submitted the complaint. On all levels it’s not acceptable from the restaurant for there to be something in the food, but also for just eat to dismiss the complaint as the system hadn’t updated.

Been ordering from Spice masters for years but I was very disappointed tonight. I ordered our food at 6pm with an estimated delivery time of 7:10pm which was then changed to 7:25-7:45pm without notifying me. It eventually got delivered at 7:55pm and by that time it was cold. Some sort of compensation would be appreciated!

Food was delicious but delivered so early we had to keep in the oven for our guests to arrive. Allowing a time to be specified is pretty pointless when it’s ignored.

It's a shame our food arrived really late. We placed our order before 7pm and our food order should have arrived at 7.40pm. We had very hungry children waiting. plus the app didn't have any delivery tracking for the restaurant.

The food was hot and tastey however I could tell the rice had been cooked a long time ago and it qas lacking its usual colour! The Arabian rice I usually buy from there is more vibrant and has more fruit in. I buy it because it looks gorgeous and tastes it but today it was a pale creamy colour.
