The Sphinx in Belfast

menu was read wrong, sausages wasnt stated if beef or pork, person is pollotarian and sausages were beef so couldnt be ate, i contacted the shop to explain and they were extremely rude

Prices are mental but food always decent

again food was great. sometimes good things you have to wait for and is worth waiting abit longer for :)

food didn't arrive more than an hour late. tried ringing them and phone rings out. had to cancel order and they are refusing to refund for an order I didn't get.

Still waiting over 2hrs since delivery!! Ridiculous, they even have a cheek to say it’s been delivered

The delivery time was extensive initially.It eventually showed as 'courier on the way.'The wait time passed...no food.I enquired and the restaurant reset the delivery time. This happened 3 times!My food was in the car for almost an hour, only stored in a paper bag!I watched the driver obviously finish eating something, cleaning her hands on napkins etc,and eventually found my order on the floor of her car in the passenger foot well.My food was absolutely stone cold.The Sphinx refused any refund

Food never showed up, left me on hold and hung up on me when I called. Never coming back.

The lateness could be overlooked if the food had been hot. Unfortunately, both dishes were cold. The food looked good quality, but very disappointed that it was cold and therefore uneatable.

First and last time trying. Ordered steak kebab, chose no salad option. Got the kebab swimming in onions. More onion than meat. £15 for that is a disgrace.

Great food, shame about the near 2 hour delivery time. Marked order as delivered twice when it was not delivered. I love The Sphinx but very disappointed this evening. Delivery driver blamed traffic but we are 2.7 miles from the place! Partial refund also declined.

The food had lost its warmth and had to be microwaved. After that, the taste was great, but what if I hadn't had the ability to reheat it? They clearly need more drivers.

Delivery Left restaurant at 6.20. Called restaurant at 7.10, girl was unapologetic, she told me food was delivered and driver had a photo as proof of delivery. Food arrived at 7.20. Stone cold. Can’t eat it.

We were given a kebab with no salad when we didn’t request no salad.

We ordered this after a days travelling g from England and were disappointed that it did not arrive. We tried multiple times to call the Sphinx and could not get through. We left two voice mails. We had to order a different dinner at 11pm. Currently we have not yet had a refund.

Fui a la esfinge kebabs son grandes, pero esperando en la tienda durante 30 minutos, además, mientras que la pila de existencias solo comen órdenes detrás del mostrador y no un conductor a la vista es ridículo la tienda tenía cuatro personas en la tienda esperando no como si estuvieran que d por la puerta que en serio necesitan para renovar cómo sirven a los clientes allí y tal vez el solo comer órdenes podría ser un poco más caliente que sentarse en la tolva detrás del mostrador es comida rápida no comida lenta!

Even though it was 45 mins late as am other side of town & tea time traffic. But came when it came it was warm & haven’t had a kebab in yonks and I really enjoyed it the portion was massive. We treat tomorrow night so will be defo ordering again

the kebabs is definitely one of the best in Belfast for sure and the house sauce is probably number 1

Orded at 23:47 Says it wud be delivered between 00:35-00:55 Then Said it will be delivered for 01:20 Finally got order at 01:30 the burger and thr fish tacos was cold and not nice.

great food and great service as always that last review was wrong as miss clicked the delivery time and just eat won't let me fix it but delivery time was spot on and early, will be for sure ordering again and highly recommend this place and must try is the the mixed Irish kebab, unreal

Cheap meat marinated well to taste good. Definitely not worth the price. they are making a massive profit of peoples hard earned money. Speaking as a head chef of a very busy restaurant

Late delivery is understandable at busy times but I still think the food should be cooked just before it leaves the shop. Order arrived 45 minutes late and was cold. Very poor

Muchas malas críticas recientemente. El nuestro estaba bien. El servicio era genial, preguntamos cuándo estaríamos allí y estaba listo un par de minutos después, muy servicial y amable. La carne de kebab estaba buena. Me encanta la salsa, pero había demasiado en las patatas fritas incluso para mí. Los kebabs grandes son grandes. No hay ensalada ni nada (pero no preguntamos). Pero no es barato. Un kebab grande costaba £ 15. 50 , y eso sí le quita un poco el brillo. Aun así, la familia disfrutaba del placer. Tuvimos 2 kebabs grandes y un chip para los 5 de nosotros (3 niños menores de 10 años y 2 adultos). No estábamos llenos, pero satisfechos. Con un montón de kebab - salsa en los dedos!

Kids meal is a great portion. Best kebab , fresh ! Staff really friendly also .

Hate to complain know how difficult it is for businesses at the min but this was poor …. My partner got Kebab I had ordered fish and chips …they called to say that fish out of stock ??? So I took scampi instead … arrived promptly my partner enjoyed his kebab and chip but he eats anything my scampi was over overcooked and poor …. The meal for two was 33.75 …expensive for poor quality …. Sorryyyy

Mi prometido y yo pedimos comida para la entrega a través de deliveryoo. Nos cobraron pero nunca recibimos comida. Trató de llamar varias veces, pero fue directo al buzón de voz. Tuve que acostarme hambriento. Arruinamos totalmente nuestra última noche aquí en Belfast.

My last 3 orders the chips have been hot but kebab cold how can this be when it’s the same order.

Took an hour and 50 minutes to arrive cold and none of the 3drinks where the restaurant doesn't answer the fone alright just straight through to answer machine wouldn't be ordering from here again

I no it's been a while since I last ordered food form here but I have tried on several occasions to get through on the phone to complain about the food that I ordered and didn't receive but was charged all most 30 pounds only to be told my food was delivered witch it wasn't there for I'll definitely never order again wait on the food for almost 4 hours and give up went to bed .so if anything happens to your delivery don't bother ring the shop s as they won't answer.

Food never came & when I phone the shop it automatically forwards me to the voicemail. With the prices of this place you would expect decent service.

food was lovely as always just was disappointed that driver left food on the ground when delivered. wasn't like I took ages to answer the door, it was like 30secs to a min at most. my apologies to the driver also, if I sounded cheeky as I told him that it wasn't really nice to receive your food on the ground as he was only at my gate when I came to the door

Disappointed shop closed at 1:45am and opening hours are until 2am. Staff were unwilling to accommodate a portion of chips. Reputation of best chip shop in Belfast. Falls short of this by quite a margin.
