The Sphinx Kebab House - Glengormley in Belfast

Kebabs were ok but nothing special but the price was shocking! A complete rip off. Not just a bit expensive but scary😖👎!!

Twice recently availed of meals from Sphinx Kebab House and they were both excellent very tasty large portions and piping hot Easy parking good fast service and mixed kebab on chips to die for Thank you and look forward to calling again sometime

Paid for a sphinx chip and there was barely any sauce on it. Feel like I got a plain chip. Disappointed because food is amazing normally. Just this time I didn't get what I paid for.

Ordered a chicken kebab on chips and a irish on chips cost £18 .. my chicken kebab on chips was a regular size but my goodness it was more like a kids meal very very poor amount of chips and the chicken was like rubber ...NOT value for money a rip off ..and the other meal they must have run out of house sauce very little on it ..poor quality

Ordered a doner kabab. Heard good reports about the place. Was delivered with what looked like burnt scrapping. Understand why the delivery guy couldn't get away quickly enough. A tiny wee parcel of scorched meat. Took one look and realised I'd been conned. £14 for something I binned. Do not waste your money with these chachers!!!

Ordered a delivery of chips mixed kebab and chicken kebab on bread. Arrived cold despite the fact that it’s less than 0.5 mile. Would not recommend and will not order again.

I ordered a from the Mexican section of the menu, a chicken burrito bowl. Maybe my expectations were too high, from dining at other specialist restaurants such as Boojum etc. I expected to be presented with all sorts of lovely mexican flavours by way of beans, salsa, guacamole etc but at the VERY LEAST I expected mexican style rice to be present. Instead I can sum up what I received as a bowl of BOILED RICE and chicken (with sauce on top)! This cannot be passed as a mexican menu, very disappointing.

Without a doubt a really horrible experience- plain rice, cheap meat, horrible sauce - don’t pretend to offer Mexican, stick to what you do well

£7.50 kebab with rice salad and sauce. Kebab tough. Rice lumpy bland. Salad consised of onions, no lettuce, no tomato, nothing but onion. Asked for spicy sauce and got garlic mayo smothered all over. No deals or offers. too expensive. Staff totally disinterested. Terrible communication just didn't care. Best kebab shop in 2017. Long long time ago. Dinning out on past glories. Wont be back. Shocking

Normal kebab on chips. Kebab meat was brick hard, chips just ok. No sauce As requested, no salad as requested.1st it's happened but not Gona bother again. Oh and delivery was late. Cheers sphinz, never again

Food was disgusting chips all ends black bits in them, garlic tub was open busted all over bag , steak kebab was undercooked and all put in bin rang up let shop know they said ok , that's not good business is it just like don't care Il not be back and were been gd customers tru yrs

Money in the bin! Most DISGUSTING takeaway I have ever had in my life. I genuinely feel sick after eating a few mouthfuls. Food was 45mins late,freezing, was absolutely vile and inedible. Do not waste your money on this place. You also cannot get through on the phone as it continuously goes to voicemail. Never again!

Went tonight to get a kebab. Ordered quickly and told 10-15 min wait, ok understandable as busy with the rona going on. It was 6.55pm. Asked to wait outside with everyone else (maybe 3 ppl with me). Come 7.10pm nothing, 7.30pm nothing, more and more people ordering and waiting outside with me. Loads of orders being collected by Just Eat drivers, they seemed more concerned with those that people waiting outside, probably because they can get a bad rating if not delivered on time. 7.40pm my number was called, 45 mins vs the 10 mins I was told. Got home, ordered was wrong to top it off, tiny little kebab for £7 odd. Absolute joke. Dont take orders at the shop if you are just going to give priority to Just Eat orders and increase your portion size for god sake, wont be returning.

Ordered with a 50 minute wait which was then 60 minutes late and they were not contactable as phone just goes straight to a message. After almost 2 hours the Order arrived cold. Not cooled down a bit but stone cold. Baps on burgers burnt and steakette cremated beyond recognition. Cold and burnt an interesting combination. Order incomplete as a portion of chips was missing and the other portion contained 17 chips (yes i actually counted them there were so few). The order was also incorrect as one of the chicken burgers came covered in mayo and included cucumber that smelt wrong. Unable to get through to complain, 2 hour late dinner Straight to the bin never to be repeated. Ended up with family having frozen pizza which was heaven compared to Sphinx burnt cold incomplete incorrect trash.

Very poor customer service even when with the Coronavirus . I called in to buy a chip yes just a chip and was told I’d to wait 45mins because I didn’t phone a head . I’m an emergency worker and I was coming off 14hr shift and I wanted something to eat. Thank you Sphinx for your poor service won’t be back .
