The Spa Pavillion in Suffolk Coastal

We were 4 adults and 5 children hungry for lunch but hadn’t booked. The Spa was busy but managed to fit us in. We were all very pleased with our lunches and sent back clean plates. Staff were attentive and pleasant. We look forward to coming back.

We went into the restaurant for a meal, the staff basically ignored us and seemed more interested in talking between themselves than engaging with customers. One staff member seemed busy as he was taking orders at the bar, delivering meals to the table and then collecting the empties plates/dishes/glasses, whilst the other 3 stood and continued their conversations. A great shame because the food is excellent, it just needs a change in management.

Stopped here for a drink only on a very hot day. Lovely place to sit outside with a sea view and watch the world go by. Small bar but good selection of drinks. The staff were lovely, welcoming and really friendly.

The venue has a great view of the sea and the menu is ok but the service is very poor. I asked for a menu and was given 1 menu for 4 people. I noticed on the next table which was empty that there were menus on the table so helped myself. The waitress came off and told me off like a schoolboy in the nastiest way and demanded we hand the menus back even though the table was still empty. She said I should have got them from the desk. I explained that we had already been there and was only given one. She promptly walked off with the menus. I complained to the manager who said she would have a word but did not get the impression she took the complaint seriously and did not apologise. She did not give us additional menus either. When the food was served my food I got such a nasty stare. I can honestly say it is the worst service experience I have ever experienced. I eat out once or twice a week and cannot ever remember complaining about service before but this was shockingly bad.

We enjoyed a lovely breakfast in a fantastic position overlooking the sea. Very well cooked and a very reasonable price, too. Word must be spreading by.the number of breakfasts coming out of the kitchen. Looking forward to returning.

Have to say, this has been the best breakfast. Absolutely superb. Had the large one and couldn’t finish. Everything so tasty and hot! Lovely view from the cafe too. 10/10 from us

We called in for fish chips haddock ,very nice meal, icw cold coke exellent ,had dessert not so good for £5 3 tiny scoops icecream very mean portion , strawberry icecream more like sorbet all icy not creamy.

Our favourite cafe in Felixstowe. Just a few metres from the sea with amazing views of the sea and shipping going to and from Felixstowe docks. Would give it five stars if the radio was turned off!

Popped in for a coffee and cheese scone on a Thursday recently. Was pleasantly surprised that there was a pianist playing in the background. This is such a nice place to sit and look out of the window at the sea - the scones are excellent too.

Fantastic, went for a meal and show on 16th December 2022, Fantastic food and staff,credit to the spa pavilion, definitely be back.

Have started to go to the Spa restaurant more frequently now that I've realised its so good. Had lunch with friends recently. Tuna & cheese sourdough. Couldn't believe how big the portions were and so tasty. The menu has something for everyone and the prices are reasonable. Lovely staff are very friendly. Also visited for a coffee and a cheese scone this week. Baked fresh that day. Would highly recommend. Plenty of room if you have a pram too.

Our new favourite air conditioned eating put on day trips restaurant. Popped in for a spot of lunch on one of the hot hot days and the air con was a welcome relief. Not a massive meal but the sandwiches and skin on fries were amazing. Home made cake and cups of tea all went down a treat and all served by lovely friendly locals. Great job guys makes the trip special when you have good food and sun of course.

Visited the restaurant for a morning coffee after strolling up from the town ..Had a really nice cup of coffee and a decent price and sat outside to enjoy the stunning views .

lovely theatre, small but cosy, no upper tier as far as I could see. Front half on seating all really good seats apart from ones close up on the wings. Good selection of performances considering it's a small theatre. Enjoyed the food as well.

My wife and I came in with our 2 kids on Tuesday the 10th of January, it was such a lovely experience the staff were so knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to help with any questions I had. We had the chicken and bacon pie, fish and chips and a pepperoni pizza which were all amazing value for money and tasted delectable. It was so lovely too be able to enjoy the view in the warm with a lovely coffee afterwards. We will definitely be returning before our rescheduled Cinderella performance.

We ate here today and had a dinner at mid-day. The place is very covid secure. The staff were very efficient and pleasent. The food was excellent but there was so much of it that I couldny finish mine. Very good value for money. And There is a good view !!

We are very interested in WW2 history so when we saw that the D-Day Darlings were scheduled to perform at The Spa Pavillion, we proceeded to make arrangements to attend. Booking tickets online was very easy and we were able to print them at home. We also noticed the website listed the restaurant would be open and suggested calling to book a table. The day of the concert we arrived around noon and easily located a parking spot on the main road leading up to The Spa Pavillion. We entered the restaurant a few minutes prior to our scheduled time but the receptionist immediately walked us to our table that had our names on a reserved card and seated us. We each ordered the Sunday Roast (beef) and only waited a few minutes before it was brought out. The food was good, service was great, and the window seat gave us a wonderful view of the ocean. After our meal, we decided to spend some time at our table drinking coffee while we waited on the doors to open for the show. We did not feel rushed in any way and enjoyed sipping our drinks and just watching everything. Soon it was time to walk over to the auditorium for the show. There is direct access from the restaurant into the auditorium and we were in our seats in about two minutes from leaving our table! Our experience with the online booking, calling to reserve a table, and the concert was very good. Lastly, our interaction with various members of staff was exceptional! Everyone seemed eager to help and provided excellent service.

First time at the Spa Pavilion and what a great night. Saw an Elvis tribute act which was brilliant. Also had food in the theatre’s restaurant. The food was so yummy and plentiful. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Comfortable lounge overlooking the sea. Great homemade cakes with coffee or afternoon tea. Staff not particularly friendly but otherwise a good setting. Also browse the forthcoming shows and can book there and then!

Over the past years we have visited the cafe many times and always found it a good place for a Sunday roast with a sea view.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch Spanish Chicken and Beef Lasagne sitting to view the sea and beach. Friendly and helpful staff.
