Everyone enjoyed their meal and our wonderful waitress, Keats made our family get together special. She was cheerful and helpful and added the icing to the cake for my brother’s milestone birthday celebrations. Thank you Keats!

Food was amazing, staff were friendly, approachable and helpful. And as usual, the atmosphere and ambience was on point.

Family meal plates cold - starters and mains came together - said we had a steak voucher was not advised which one to order - so could not use it as ordered the wrong one. Had two children with us and one of theirs starters came out with the main meal - waitress not very chatty as it was a birthday celebration - first time visiting as moved into the area tye bill came to over £100 - the food was not impressive fir that amount . 2 children two adults

Food brilliant and prices are what you'd expect in this day and age service was decent. Atmosphere is rather generic as resturants go over all have been before and will go again. Breakfast is also pretty good, the chef will even cook vegan food on request which was nice for my girlfriend.

Pretty standard menu for a Beefeater but food was well cooked and service good. A 40% discount coupon made it very good value

Restaurant is efficiently run and food lovely. We had meal deals as stayed in Premier Inn attached and the restaurant staff were really accommodating. Bar side can be quite noisy but you can eat food there too

It's a Beefeater, and none the worse for that. Have a steak. It's what they're best at.

We have been to this place. Three 3 times this year, we were staying in the premier inn next door always good, and the breakfast is fab 👌

Delicious fillet steak. Good service Very good value for money. Furnishings could do with refurbishment. Enjoyed a lunch there too. Fish and chips, gammon and chips and steak and salad. The steak was replaced quickly when it was pointed out it was very grizzly and fatty. Leanne served us very well.

We have been visiting the Somerford for over 40 years now, but on our last visit it seems like it has gone drastically downhill. There seems to be a severe lack of management, poor staff training chefs that can’t tell if a steak is good or not. My steak was rejected as it looked really rough & inedible so was replaced after my father had eaten his meal. Our desserts were served in cold bowls with cold custard so weren’t very good. Tables weren’t being cleared after people had left. The staff were more bothered about their Xmas training & closing at 8:30pm instead of giving their customers a good evening. After our complaints the duty manageress couldn’t even be bothered to come to apologise but did so through the waitress who did discount the bill. We wouldn’t recommend eating here now but just pop along the road to the Toby carvery instead which will be better than the beefeater.

What can I say, upon arrival we waited for 10 minutes to be seated even though we had pre booked. Best way to start a breakfast is a coffee. Oh no coffee machine isn’t working. No coffee for us. Ok let’s have some orange juice. Again nope as there is “a national shortage of orange juice” Ok let’s let that one slide. Breakfast. So I managed to get 2 sausages, some see through bacon, beans and a hash brown. No eggs, no black pudding, no mushrooms. So it was a struggle to make a half English breakfast. Needless to say I won’t be returning. To charge people for this is shocking.

Hi Very nice food,with a great lunch time menu from £5. All the staff were very helpful. Large carpark and attached hotel. Grab a reward card and receive vouchers.

Not the best plate of food I’ve had & certainly not value for money. I had a double stack burger with skinny fries. The burger didn’t look anything like the picture advertised. Skimping on the lettuce & tomato. Best experience was the service. Toilet facilities need to be improved.

We enjoyed lunch today at Somerford Beefeater. Keats was our server. She was very busy but was really thoughtful, polite and attentive to our requests, very good at ger job.

The restaurant was quiet on the Sunday I visited. I was shown to my table and was served by some friendly staff. The food was good and arrived quickly.

Well looked after by a very attentive Daniel. Great meal but more importantly great service. Excellent and good value menu

Service was great with very accommodating staff, and the atmosphere was relaxing - well decorated and lit. The food was about average, but they offer lots of discounts through various reward cards etc. which makes it worth it. Portion sizes are good. They even offered a lactose free biscoff ice-cream sundae, which you don't get in many restaurants. Overall a very pleasant experience and would go again with my discount card.

Had a lovely time here for my little boys birthday. The staff were lovely & friendly & even all sang happy birthday to him. The food was nice and very reasonably priced. Highly recommend, will definitely be returning. Thank you! :)

Saturday, we had great food, It was very busy as it was Sunday. Therefore, the service was quite slow. Wednesday, the food was great, and we had fantastic service from a young man. 😀

Went on a Friday, early evening, waitress service by Keats superb throughout. Drinks were delivered quickly. Food arrived speedily and was very hot and tasty! Highly Recommended and will definitely be back!

Just left here and feel we’ve had excellent steaks, great service in a lovely atmosphere. We couldn’t fault anything or any member of staff. Well done everyone. First class experience. Thank you very much.

We went here for a family meal and whilst things were not perfect as chips were warm and 1 steak not cooked well, Jade went out of her way to make this a great experience and resolve things. Mistakes get made but as long as something is done about it this is great service.

We had a recent family meal here and we were very pleased with the whole experience. The food was delicious, the service was very friendly and efficient and the price very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

We had a very nice meal but it took a while for anyone to come over to us to order and then it was like wheres wally trying to find a member of staff for the bill. I searched the whole restaurant, very understaffed and waitress looked stressed, which I don't blame her omat all for feeling.

Could do with lots of tlc, looking quite run down. Tables not cleared quickly. Customers left waiting at the bar being ignored by bar staff. Not a welcoming atmosphere overall 😕

Leanne was an absolute superstar. We had a couple of specific requests which Leanne accommodated with a smile and delight - in fact all our asks were no problem at all! What a lovely lady and so understanding. Food was good and value for money - as to be expected but it was Leanne that made this a memorable dinner. Thank you Leanne.

Very poor food , old and smelly environment. Outdoor smoking areas directly outside of windows where people are eating. Service was OK. Lasagne was disgusting. Mixed grill was greasy.... won't be going back ...

Food was ok, great value lunch menu during the week! The venue is a bit scruffy so good for a quick lunch stop.

Nice staff enjoyed my chop salad v much with chicken husband had a burger which he really enjoyed followed by biscoff sundaes yum! Couldn't rate atmosphere here very well as we were eating late so only ourselves and 2 other elderly couple eating the restaurant was usual style and am sure it adds to the atmosphere on busier hours ! Would defo dine here again if we was passing !

Went in for breakfast. Greeted promptly with a smile and escorted to our table. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. U name it… it was there. Hot and tasty. Nice selection of fruit, yoghurts and cereals. Also a good choice of pastries , muffins, pancake and toast. Plenty to chose from for drinks whether it’s hot coffees or fresh fruit juice. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere . Will definitely be coming again. Thank u x

me and my family visited for a meal on thursday evening. food quality was great, however the service in particular was truly amazing. we were served by george, who was incredibly approachable and attentive. he took very good care of us and had complete control over his section at all times. we hope he gets the recognition he deserves!

My mother and I came here for her birthday. The staff were very friendly and also gifted her a birthday card and some chocolate. Our lovely waitress was Leighan☺️The food is always delicious, we’ve come here many times and enjoyed every meal! Thank you for having us beefeater☺️ We’ll be back again soon!🤞🏼😄

Found this place on a short break nearby. Great menu choice lovely food. Wonderful service. We wanted to change a couple of thi gs on the menu which was no trouble. We actually went twice e and would defo recommend.

Got served by Jade in the restaurant, great customer service and very polite, making sure we needed anything else. Amazing Job.

We had a weekend break at the adjacent Premier Inn so used the restaurant on 2 evenings. The same waitress, Leighan, both times who was very helpful and efficient. The food was standard Beafeater, steak on the first evening, cooked exactly as requested, fish and chips next night, also fine.

Today I went beef eater in Somerford. Really enjoyed the service from the staff . Especially leighan. Me and my partner really enjoyed by her customer relationship. Much appreciated. I’ll give her huge applause. Food and atmosphere was superb ❤️❤️

Having read some of the good reviews, I wonder if I went to the same place. Our waitress was lovely but the food was grim. The halloumi chips were more coating than cheese and the cheesecake was just awful. We only ate here as we were staying at the Premier Inn for a local wedding.

Couldn't get in the restaurant so ate in the bar food was good but the bar was a bit grim wouldn't choose to sit in that area another time

Upon entering, the lovely Leighan welcomed us. Friendly, efficient and with excellent service. The food quality & value was noted. We shall return.

I went for Sunday lunch and the meal was never as good as when I had first gone in . Was served under roasted parsnips . The roast potatoes were not served crispy as before and were undercooked . All piled up looking actually black too . Obviously not roasted properly too .They never had premium beers when ordering an asahi Never had a pint of cider they were advertising as inches on draught . The broccoli was not served hot enough too . Was really disappointed coming for lunch. The beef was good being all that was too. Where even the Yorkshire was not crisp too I should have taken photos of the food 🤬 However the service is always good 👍

Standard Beefeater fare , No potatoes either boiled or mashed ,No vegetables neither poor menu for a national chain ,Having said that the food that was available was quite decent and staff were excellent .

VERY DISAPPOINTED. BOTH OUR MEALS WERE SMALL FOR THE PRICE. SERVICE WAS SLOW. BACON MISSING FROM THE SMOTHERED CHICKEN. DESSERT WAS A SMALL WEDGE OF APPLE PIE WITH A TASTELESS VANILLA ICE CREAM AND BISCOFF SUNDAE WAS THE WORST EVER. TRIED THIS PLACE AS WE HAD A VOUCHER. WE WOULD NOT RETURN.

Place needs gutting!! Carpets are rotten, decor is bad, no air con in the restaurant. Place smells like an old people’s home. One member of staff at reception Owen needs some lessons with manners. Very rude to one of our friends and started getting threatening over nothing. Nothing Premier about this place.

Wonderful Sunday roast. Our waiter was excellent. Would have been 5 stars all round however I think the interior needs a refresh.

Have eaten here quite a few times. The food has been good, but they have put prices up and cut down on the food. No salad garnish or slaw. These are now extras.

Had a lovely couple of days here , lovely food and service..BUT our highlight was having Leanne look after us, in the restaurant. Always a smile and very efficient, what an Ambassador for your company.

Been here a few times in the last couple of years while staying at the premier inn with the meal deal. The cooked breakfast is brilliant. And the dinner is a perfect end to the day. Great service, great food and the staff are very friendly. 10/10

The best Beefeater I've been to. My Steak dinner was perfect and the Staff were impeccable, busy all the time and totally on top of everything 🇬🇧

Stayed at the adjacent Premier Inn, so this was the closest place to eat after a long day. Very much in need of a refurb. Our waitress confirmed this, quoting the tables which needed sanding and varnishing as an example. Food was overpriced "ding" cuisine. I returned one entree as it was cold. (Another was provided, but came out at the same time as the mains). Cleanliness was another concern, with the ground floor toilet by the door having inch thick dust on the pipework etc. Our young waitress tried her best, giving me a 30% off mains voucher for my next visit at that location, which I declined. She told me that many Beefeaters were being sold off, which might explain the lack of enthusiasm to undertake maintenance work, but there is no excuse for sloppy cleanliness. The customers currently using this facility are being very short-changed. When a waitress tells you ....I work here, but I don't eat here.....it tells the story.

Was staying in the area and had a discount voucher so decided to book here. Although busy we were served promptly and food arrived in reasonable time.

No notice of pets ‘not allowed’ at entrance to the bar area. After drinks were purchased and we were seated, we were rudely informed by the manager that ‘policy’ stipulates ‘no dogs’. We were obliged to be seated outside in the cold with our elderly parents.

Ordered 5 meals 2 adults 3 childrens unfortunatly had a hair in my lasangne so had to send it back and didnt fancy a replacement after that so wasn't the best expirence pretty below average to be honest i will not return.

Fabulous meal with the family, would have added photos of our dinner but we were hungry and finished everything. Our waitress Lily-Mae was amazing and done a great job of looking after us. Would totally recommend The Somerford beefeater to anyone who wants a lovely meal with friend and family. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive staff.

Wasn't really much for vegetarians but was nice and clean all round. Stuff was really nice.

Went on a Saturday evening for dinner with the wife. Food was great, always a good steak in a Beefeater, and the service fron Lily-Mae was excellent. Friendly, helpful and made us smile. Will definitely be back.

A good place to have an all you can eat breakfast. Plus they have a really good coffee machine that makes a more than decent cappuccino. If you want to get good value for money, this is the place.
